Easy 10 minute walk to downtown, easy check-in and lots to do in Napa. Hosts were available to answer questions. Weather was wonderful.The photos are really great, but the property could use some TLC and cleaning. When staying for a month you hope the duvet and blankets are clean, the throw rugs washed, the towels clean, the dishes, silverware, etc. Having to wash everything before use gets old....the few hour clean between guests just doesn't cut it for a month long stay. Owners did offer to send the cleaning crew back out but, we cleaned ourselves to know it was done.Icemaker didn't work. The gas range burners had caked on stuff that we couldn't get off with oven cleaner.Several security cameras on property was unsettling, we had to ask them to be turned off yet the lights still flashed on the cameras, so we never sat on the front porch (doorbell and security camera). The thermostat acted up until just before we left, coming on at odd times at very low temps.Yard was great for our two small dogs, with automatic lights that stay on the entire time you're outside. The fountain and string lights weren't working. There is a hot tub next to the fence by the primary bedroom, that runs/circulates every half hour throughout the night, too loud to leave the only two screened windows open to take advantage of the low temperature nights.As mentioned, great location, great hosts.
