Turtles & Tails - PET FRIENDLY - Palmetto Dunes - Monthly Rates Through 2/28/26!

Enjoy the pristine golf & lagoon views from the back deck. The deck happens to overlook the 10th fairway on the Fazio course. This villa is so open and airy! It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom offers a king sized bed and smart TV with the upstairs guest room having a queen-sized bed and twin trundle bed. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The spacious living area includes an HD TV and a full size kitchen/dining area that opens to the deck. Take an easy walk or bike ride to the beach, tennis, golf courses and any of the many amenities offered at the beautiful Palmetto Dunes Resort. The loft also includes an entertainment area with free wifi access.

This is a PET FRIENDLY home! Please let us know if you will be bringing a furry friend! Dogs ONLY please. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $250 for the 1st approved pet and an additional $150 for the 2nd approved pet. There is a 2 dog limit and both pets must weigh 30lbs or lower. Please let us know if you have any questions! NO SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED!

Relaxing getaway.

This two-tier condominium is clean, comfortable, well-decorated and ranks in the top 10% of my best vacation rental experiences. This is a great area of Hilton Head, S.C. for relaxation and unwinding.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay with our 2 college age children and dog. The property was clean and we really enjoyed the pool just across the street. Great stay.

Lovely property with great location

Having stayed at a number of properties in both Palmetto Dunes and Shipyard over the last 10 years , this is my favorite. The villa is in a lovely wooded area but near the beach, shopping, restaurants and the Chapin Park Dog Park! The property managers, Vacation Ready Services, were superb from booking through our stay. They even texted to advise of a tornado watch. The villa is very well equipped and comfortable for 2 or more guests- including our fur baby, Lily

Relax in nature

This rental property was beautifully decorated in a beach theme. It was very tastefully done. It is a comfortable, quiet and relaxing place to stay. We especially loved the outside deck, where we saw turtles, beautiful birds and even a small alligator in the lagoon! Our small dog was with us and she loved laying in the sun on the deck as well.The rental was well equipped with cooking utensils, but toiletries were lacking, make sure you bring your own. Beach access is close-by, the pool was across the street, but hidden from view. You can rent bikes to get around. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Quaint & Charming

As advertised, this home is tucked away amongst Turnberry Village. Backed up on a pond full of turtles and other critters as well as a golf course, it's a relaxing locale for whatever your plans are on the island. Place was clean and well kept. Pull out bed was a bit uncomfortable but this is to be expected for the most part. Would stay again!

SCAD Get Away

I came from Ohio with our dog to meet my daughter who is at SCAD for a week on Hilton Head. The property is beautiful and comfortable -- short walk to the beach or private beach parking available! Home was clean and comfortable with great cozy design choices. Park area right out the front door provided easy dog walking, but if you want something more extensive, the paved trail system throughout the community is perfect. Communication with property manager was a breeze. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. Will be booking again when we visit Hilton Head.

Fantastic Condo

We truly enjoyed our stay! The Dunes Buggy service was exceptional and so convenient! The condo was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed plus! Enough drawers and hangers for clothes! Hooks to hang things like robe or pajamas. Plenty of cabinet space in the bathrooms plus towel racks holder even cup etc for toothpaste/tooth brush. They leave coffee pods, dishwasher liquid, dish detergent, PT and TP to get you started even small shampoo/conditioner! The place is true to the pictures they show online. They had enough chairs for patio and a big enough table that we could eat or just sit with coffee or a cocktail! We would definitely stay again. The condo is truly a ā€œhome away from homeā€ as I have rented plenty of places and that is not always a true statement.

Very disappointed - not as expected based on previous reviews

We booked our stay at Turtles & Tails based on the property being pet friendly and the exceptional rating on Vrbo but were very disappointed in our stay. Particularly we found that pet friendly equaled lots of fur and human hair throughout the property.First, the arrival instructions were not emailed to us at the time of the final payment (as stated in the contract we signed) and we had to email asking for these arrival instructions with less than 36 hours before our stay.Second, after driving nearly 6 hours and arriving at the resort our parking pass was not waiting for us as the arrival instructions said it would be. So, we had to call Vacation Ready Services to handle this meaning we sat at the resort pass office for nearly 30 minutes after a long drive.Third, upon arrival we found that the deck had not been cleaned off for our use during our stay, the floors throughout the property were covered in human and dog hair especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms. And then when we went to go to bed we found that the all layers of bedding (i.e., sheets, pillow cases, quilt and decorative pillows) were covered in pet and human hair as if the sheets and bedding had not been laundered/changed at all. Had it not been 11pm at night when we found this, we would have left to go stay at a hotel.I want to stress that each time that we contacted VRS, in particular Laura, they were super responsive, apologetic, and made sure that we got the parking pass and clean bedding.
