2nd time around

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We couldn't ask for anything more in a cabin. Privacy, hot tub, sauna, indoor pool, pool table and a lovely view. All the reasons we booked for a second time. That being said, we wanted to arrive as soon as possible. Halfway into our travel, we were notified that the cabin wouldn't be ready by check-in time. About that time, the rental car blew the front tire on the interstate and we were stranded and then diverted for a couple hours. I was so ready to get in that sauna and relax. But after a couple hours of trying to start and waiting for heat, I just gave up. The sauna was the main reason for booking this cabin. Not the view. Not the hot tub. Not the pool. My focus was the sauna. I tried the next day, and the next day something(?) finally worked. BTW,the door is completely off the hinges. The only other thing is the huge holes at the bottom of the driveway. Other than that, our getaway was great. We will definitely book again if the sauna gets updated.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us again! We are glad you enjoyed the cabins amenities and that your getaway was enjoyable overall. We sincerely apologize for the delayed check-in and the trouble you experienced with the sauna, especially since it was the main reason for your booking. We also appreciate you bringing the sauna door and driveway concerns to our attention and will share your feedback with our team. We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better stay!!

Nice cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the cabin, it was just enough room for our family. There needs to be more than 4 forks though. The only thing that will keep us from going to this cabin again was the overwhelming, overpowering smell of chlorine. We are still trying to wash that smell out of the items we brought to the cabin. As soon as you walk in, it hits you in the face.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 12 de dez. de 2023

A beautiful getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was absolutely beautiful. The wood was gorgeous, the views were awesome. We had the full moon light in the huge window which was so amazing to see. The pool was great, I loved having privacy. The hot tub felt wonderful in the evening. We used the sauna (it takes an hour to heat up) so if you want to use it I would remember that. The bed was very comfortable and the bunk beds were adorable! We had a great time. I didn't want to leave!we also enjoyed playing pool!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was very relaxing, quiet and enjoyable with the Mountain views. Gatlinburg was a blast! The cabin had a private pool - AWESOME!! The cabin was beautiful! LOVED IT! It was well maintained and clean. Just a suggestion, a walk in shower would be great, considering there is a jacuzzi tub. Property Management was professional and very prompt with information you needed but you do need better signs leading to your cabins. It did get a little confusing.

Relaxing and secluded vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very clean and relaxing. Pictures were accurate and it had everything we hoped it would. Only two issues were the toilet in the bedroom bathroom had an issue with the handle and we received two texts during our stay that came off as accusatory. Both came later at night. The first was in regards to covering the hot tub (we had only looked at the hot tub and thought we had covered it properly, this may have been a reminder text but came off as we had done something wrong) and the second accused us of having a pet in the cabin (we did not) and charging us a pet deposit ($150). When I responded that we did not have a pet and asking if it was a mistake, I got a response of "possibly, sorry for the confusion." They may need to look at their customer service and text systems. Outside of these two issues, the stay was amazing.

I'm really at a loss for words.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well for starters this was expensive for us. The stay was not great for the price. The pool was dirty, dirty dishes that we had to wash. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom, hottub had floating white pieces in it. The neighbors hot tub is on the porch facing our cabin. We woke everymorning to naked neighbors. I have small children so this is unacceptable. How do you charge what you do, and not ensure cleanliness, I've also stayed at 1 star hotels/cabins that provided coffee. You guys are too cheap for that too!? I'm really not satisfied and will NOT be back. I also need someone to reach out about some money back. The pictures compared to what the cabin actually looks like is false.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 3 de ago. de 2024
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay. Cleanliness and guest satisfaction are our top priorities, and it seems we fell short in your case. We regret the inconvenience caused by the pool, dishes, and hot tub cleanliness. Your comments about the neighboring hot tub and lack of coffee are noted. We are addressing these concerns with our team to ensure improvements are made. We are unable to offer any compensation for these items as none of them were reported during your stay. We hope you were able to enjoy your time spent in our beautiful area.

Awesome!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with our stay at the Holy Smokies Pool Palace. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4- to adults and two boys (ages 7 and 3). We wanted a place that would be easy and provide some built-in entertainment and this cabin had it all from the in-door pool, hot tub, arcade game, plenty of TVs (no fighting over what to watch), and pool table. We cooked in the fully equipped kitchen, had groceries close by with Food City and dined at Three Jimmys. Elk Springs also made things so easy from start to finish. We will for sure book again! Thanks!
