Great communication with host and cottage was cute, clean and had everything we needed. Convenient to the things we wanted to do. Thereā€™s a small fenced area if you have dogs. Would be nice if the back yard was fenced, making it easy to enjoy the firepit and keep dogs ( or young children) in proximity. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

This is a charming house with hosts who have a background in the hospitality industry. There were a dozen details that were so thoughtful. From the well organized welcome book, to snacks, tea and coffee, and a lovely bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal, including an air fryer! This section of the peninsula has a wide variety of houses from trailers in various states of repair to cute lake houses. We felt perfectly safe, but it wasn't the charming lake town we imagined. That said, we loved the house and our overall experience.

Great Property!

Check-in was a breeze. Very clean and updated inside and smelled great. Bed was super comfy and the property was great for our furry friend. We truly enjoyed the property with the fire pit and all the amenities. Will definitely do it again.

Wonderful

Absolutely would recommend to anyone!!! Not only was the stay for us wonderful, but they also were accommodating for our dog and had a basket for him. Close to so many wonderful stops and extremely relaxing. We really needed this little weekend vacation and they did not disappoint with their accomodations.

Wonderful home for two. Of all the VRBOā€™s weā€™ve done this was the best appointed. Good dog yard, too. Traffic noise a bit of an issue is only downside. Will be back !

From start to finish, this property offers you the perfect ā€œLittle Getawayā€. The attention to every detail provided by the owners did not go unnoticed! This property is impeccably clean, charmingly decorated and smells like a dream. All the little touches were exactly what this girl needed for a weekend escape for some self-care! Communication with the owner, Alena, was spot-on and made my check-in process an absolute breeze. What a lovely little gem of a place! Would not hesitate to book again. Thank you for making my stay a little slice of heaven!

Great place!!

We had a wonderful time on vacation at the getaway! It had everything we needed plus more! We have stayed at several VRBOā€™s and this was by far the best one! The home was very clean and smelled wonderful! If we are in the area again we will definitely stay again. Communication was great before the trip. Didnā€™t have any issues while we were there.They are the perfect hosts!!

Perfect for us

Very cute little place. Was great for me and the mrs. Enjoyed the fire pit out back one night, a bit of traffic noise. But nothing youd notice from inside. Cutest front deck, and an optional gate to corral your little ones or furbabies built in. And the thoughtfulness of the small amenities makes you feel super welcome. Wish we could have spent a few more days, and will definitely be checking availability for our next visit.

One of Our Favorite Cabins

We could not recommend this place more. Itā€™s so cute and cozy, and itā€™s immaculately clean and organized. They have everything you could need for your stay. The furnishings are comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtful. The little touches are a pleasant surprise - like the phone charger in the kitchen, the ear plugs on the night stands, the complimentary snacks on the island. They even have special things for the dogs. We actually left something behind and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We love this and our experiences here could not have been better! You will love every second of your stay here.

Amazing getaway!

I truly cannot say enough good things about our stay at Alena and Reggieā€™s place!! Not only was their communication quick and clear they truly thought of everything we would need for our stay! I mustā€™ve looked at over 2 dozen places on VRBO and this was my top choice my only concern was not having a fenced in yard for our dog but we live in apartment without a yard and so we knew heā€™d be okay and 98% of the rentals didnā€™t have fenced in yards. Yā€™allā€¦ Alena surprised us with having part of their yard fenced in so we could have a safe space to let cooper run around - and not only that it was built better than his dog park back home- we were speechless!! We really appreciated the automated lights outside as it made going out really easy and made us feel safe. They also provided everything we needed to use the fire pit (unfortunately rain stopped us). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals at home and had dog bowls as well!! They had plenty of utensils/pots/pans as well as a variety of spices and things! The owners (Alena and Reggie) were always available via messenger and were so kind and friendly throughout our stay!! Their attention to detail to make this getaway a place where all your needs are taken care of you all you need to focus on is your vacation!! We cannot wait to visit again!!

The Little Getaway was amazing! Answered any questions I had very promptly. Itā€™s a very clean and relaxing place to get away. The bed was very comfortable and it had all the amenities you would need. A very nice spot. Iā€™m looking forward to coming back.
