Our cabin is as close to Oklahoma City as any resort on the Oklahoma side of Texoma! Just 2 hours away!

Step back to a simpler time and place in this charming 1960 vintage lake cabin! Nicely modernized cabin sits on generous (near 1/2 acre) shady wooded lot near crest of hill leading down to the lake. Pull-through driveway makes for easy boat trailer in/ out. Has 2 bedrooms each with a king size bed. Two window seats double as beds for kids or younger/smaller adults. Great open concept kitchen, dining and living areas. Nice front deck. Rear gathering area with fire pit and charcoal grill. The lake is just a short stroll down the hill. Fish hot sand bass and striper action right from the beach! We have up to 4 kayaks available for a modest rental fee. New MegaStar Casino just across bridge on Oklahoma side.

Make your next stay just steps away from Sherwood Shores beach area and minutes from Cedar Mills Marina.

This cabin was perfect for our weekend fishing getaway. Very clean and welcoming and had everything you would expect to have in your own house.Just a few minutes walk to the lake and the neighbors/little community were all so friendly. Will definitely book this place again in the future.

Catfish Cabin

We were surprised that this cabin received a 9.8 rating. The sunroom had an offensive oder to it. The beds were comfortable however, the rest of the furniture were old and not very comfortable. The rocking chair had a broken arm. The door knob to the kitchen was placed on backwards. The weeds around the house were overgrown. This place needs some TLC. A little disappointed but we made the best of our 4 night stay.

It would have been better if there wasnā€™t devastation to homes near by donā€™t think neighbors wanted non owners there the marina was hindered fishing was good cabin needed cleaning dead bugs in home didnā€™t realize the flooding or devastation if knew wouldnā€™t pick this area not much to do since flood if rented at better time would of been better .overall comfy furniture and air conditioning was great .bath tub fills with water while shower coffee table needs a screw/ broken rocking chair arm broken

Highly recommend this quaint log cabin for a great getaway

Even though we had to cancel our fishing charter we were still able to enjoy time with our friends while at the same time touring the area and sleeping comfortably in the catfish cabin. Communication with Jim was very pleasant and supportive. We will surely consider booking this property in the future.

Nice quiet visit

My husband and I came here for a couple day get away for our anniversary. Cutest lil cabin, walking distance to the lake and SO quiet. Fire pit area was our favorite. Had a fire with a cup of hot coffee and even enjoyed a few fireworks from the neighbors. Will definitely be back.

Rustic Cabin

The cabin is clean, beds a little soft but fine. Kitchen is good and plenty of pots/pans/dishes etc. However, the layout of the cabin is not what I would have expected. One of the bathrooms is off the covered patio and is essentially outside which might be great for hunters and fishermen who want to clean up before entering, but was not so great for us. We were two couples who had to share one bathroom while expecting to each have our own because it was listed as 2 beds, 2 bathrooms. It wasn't a serious problem for a short weekend, but the description did not make it clear that there was only one bathroom inside the actual living area. For the price we paid, I would have booked elsewhere had I understood the layout. The location is good for people who want to fish as it is a few minutes to the lake. We thought we could swim, but the shoreline is very muddy so best would probably be to drive elsewhere, we just decided to skip the swimming as it was overcast and rainy half the time. I would recommend the place to people who have a boat or just want to fish or relax. Definitely in a quiet area.

Catfish Cabin

The host quickly responded to messages and made my first stay with VRBO easy. The cabin was adorable and rustic. The power went out but they had candles on hand. The water was not easily accessible from the cabin but there was a nice swim area within walking distance. I do recommend renting the Catfish Cabin.

Perfect setup!

Had a great time at the cabin. It was setup perfect for us. Everything was described perfectly. It was nice and relaxing to hang around the outdoor fire pit. Definitely will stay again and highly recommend.

My husband I stayed at the cabin for 5 days for our anniversary. The cabin was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away and our time in the cabin!
