Live life just a block away from the beach in this charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home that's also just a short walk to the Isle of Palms Marina! With must-have features like a screened-in porch and outdoor beach shower, this home is great for a relaxing escape to Isle of Palms. This property has also been updated, and features highlights like new bathrooms, custom built twin bunk beds and added ceiling fans on the porch!

Arrive at the home to be greeted by the lush exterior of the property, with lots of greenery and gorgeous landscaping with carefully crafted pathways to stroll around and enjoy the yard. Beneath the house there's several spots to relax and hang out, with covered seating spanning from lounge chairs to outdoor dining sets. You'll also find a full bathroom beneath the house, along with the beach shower.

Inside the home you'll find the main living area, offering a variety of seating with a comfy sofa, two plush chairs, and 2 regular sitting chairs. A large flat screen TV offers a VCR and DVD player if you want to plan out a vacation movie night, and the home also offers cable and complimentary Wi-Fi. A charming dining table in this room sits against the wide windows, making it a great spot to take your meals in the natural light.

Continue and you'll discover the fully equipped kitchen, where you can be the chef as much or as little as you'd like—whether it's just your morning coffee or you're making dinners from scratch each night. Sleek countertops and high-quality appliances give you all you need, while another smaller dining set in the kitchen creates an ideal spot to enjoy quick snacks.

There are two outside areas upstairs, one screened-in porch and an open-air deck with a gas grill. The screened-in porch is furnished with a lounge set and outdoor dining.

In the three bedrooms, you'll find the master with queen bed and private entrance to the screened in porch, while the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third features two bunk beds (4 XL twin mattresses). With laundry beneath the house, this home has all the features you could want for a getaway to the coast!

Please note: One bathroom & the washer/dryer is located underneath the house and you must walk outside to access them.

*Summer Season Only = Sunday To Sunday Rental!*

This home is pet friendly. Dogs are considered with a $300 pet fee (per pet), applicable pet policy signed, and flea proof records received prior to arrival. Maximum of 2 Dogs Allowed. Dog must be approved by Carroll Realty. Absolutely no cats or other animals are allowed. Any damages caused by the pet will be charged to the pet owner, and not paid by the pet fee.

This property also includes a $250 credit to order beach gear when you book a stay between 3 and 14 nights!! There are many options to choose from including bicycles, beach chairs, beach carts/wagons, coolers, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, etc.! Our partnered company, VayK Gear, will contact you 45 days prior to your arrival so you can place your order and they will deliver all equipment to your rental property. Just another added bonus for booking through Carroll Realty to enhance your vacation experience.

A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO ANIMALS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 3 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $1000 if an animal is found to be on the property at any time.

ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you may need to purchase these items after you arrive.

This property is absolutely amazing! The first thing you see is the beautiful tree in the front, followed by stunning landscaping all throughout. The house was perfect for our family (including our 5 kids). Everyone had enough space. There are tables and chairs EVERYWHERE, so no matter where you are on the property, you can sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee, write a few pages in a diary, eat a meal with the family, whatever you want! It's fully stocked with all of the basics for cooking, making drinks and every day life needs. My family and I LOVED the huge screened-in porch, as it gave us the freedom to enjoy outside without dealing with mosquitoes and flies. We absolutely loved the location (just a 5 minute walk to the beach). I can only praise this house and how much we enjoyed it!

Charming house near the beach

Lovely, lush property with screened in porch upstairs and sitting area downstairs. The outdoor shower and bathroom was an amazing perk and I loved being able to clean up and rinse off prior to heading back in the house. Beach access was convenient and a quick walk over. Our kids slept comfortably and well. The bunk beds were awesome!! The room by the screened in porch had a bed that was quite rigid. I didn’t get much shut eye but the experience and surrounding of being there was enjoyable. Would consider renting again.

Great location, privacy. Clean, very much like an old but well maintained beach house just a easy walk away to the beach. The beach was never crowded. Most people are down closer to the other end of the island or they are in Wild Dunes. This location is better for those who want some distance from the crowd

Dirtiest House Ever

The photos made the property look much better than it really was. Upon checking in we thought the house was not really clean! We used the kitchen several times. The burners on the stove did not work great, the dishwasher did not clean the dishes the first time ( had to rerun), placements in drawer were soaking wet so could not use, a lot of pans and utensils were not clean, the grill on bottom of fridge kept falling off, the grill above stove kept falling off, the garbage cans were completely full when we arrived, the bedrooms were nit well lit. Truthfully everything was OLD and in need of replacement, really si dirty it was not worth the rental. The screened porch had not been cleaned in a long time. Cushions and porch so nasty we could not sit out there. House was a HUGE disappointment for 4 adults. Would have to think again before using Carroll Realty

Under the Live Oaks!

If you appreciate beautiful landscaping; it's the first thing you see as you pull into the driveway. We were blown away by it! The house is a renovated old beach cottage and, it's beautiful! The interior is bright and charming; it's shabby chic with bright artwork. We had a great stay and we'll be back!

Birthday getaway

We had a great time. The home was in a great quiet location. Everything that was needed was provided. The only negative was the mattress in the bedroom next to the porch. This was the hardest and squeakiest mattress I have ever slept on. Other than that, the stay was great.

Cozy house with everything you need. Great location, easy walk to the beach.

I thought the house might be dark inside with all the trees but there was lots of sunlight. The house was cozy with everything you need in the kitchen. Easy walk to the beach, house located at end of dead end street- great location. It was a little chilly to hang outside but both porches would be great on warm days.

Great location!

The house is older and has a few issues. Living room furniture uncomfortable, the TV is too small for the space. The tv in the bedroom wouldn't change channel. Pillows flat and the blinds aren't dark enough for sleeping in. The bathroom under the house is a bit much for access. Convenient short walk to the beach. Loved the shaded lot and the screened porch.

Isle of Palms Bungalow

The property we rented at IOP has a beautiful, well cared for yard. The outside areas are nice, as well as the wonderful screened in porch. It reminds me of an old bungalow. However - The cleanliness was so disappointing. The bathroom has mildew around the tub and the tube mat is mildewed as well. There was mildew on the bathroom ceiling and on the baseboards by the bathroom door. The air filter vents are filthy and need to be cleaned. Since the coast is a naturally moist/humid place it would seem that taking care of mildew issues would part of the regular cleaning. The mattress pads were stained, dirty and disgusting. (Of course I didn't see that until I stripped the beds before checkout, after having slept on that all week!) The bed coverings need to be laundered as well, not just the linens and towels. These cleaning issues should be part of a regular routine after each guests' stay, especially during these times of COVID.

Summer beach vacation

The house was really nice. We loved the screened in porch and treehouse feel, and being a couple blocks from the beach was great. We booked this rental in large part because it came with a credit for beach rentals, but I found out after we checked in that you had to reserve those rentals in advance, so that was a $250 loss. Those emails went to my junk box. Also, we arrived after dark and the house was completely dark and difficult to find in the trees. We were able to feel our way to the front door, but I would be sure to ask the rental company to leave.on a light. There is parking, but the neighbors kept using it, including the day we arrived, so I would also suggest better policing of the parking spots.

Cute secluded cottage steps from the beach

This cute cottage has everything a family needs for a fun getaway. House was comfortable and well-appointed. Second bathroom on the ground level was good for post-beach showers. Best part was the huge porch and the shaded, secluded setting.

Memorial Day Vacation.

Property is great for a couple or family with small kids (the second bathroom is downstairs). Easy walk to the beach. The living space is very comfortable. The landscaping is beautiful.

Classic Carolina Cottage

I loved the porch, especially the hammock, and spent most of my time there. The yard was beautiful with all the trees. The house is older and the bedrooms are small but clean. The downstairs bathroom needs some work. The beach path is just around the corner. There is nowhere to leave a bike if you rent one and it’s too narrow for a cart. Don’t rent a cart and umbrella just bring one you can carry. The only issue was the overflowing garbage cans from the previous guests when I arrived. The manager came the next day to pick up what was on the ground but left the overflowing smelling cans for two more days until the city garbage pickup.

Cute and cozy cottage in great location

Loved the house and the location. However was very disappointed that the washer didn’t work bc it was filled with rocks and sand and that the coffee maker was filled with mold. If those 2 things could be fixed it would have been a perfect rental.

Cute but Dingy

The house was in a good location, beach access was just a short walk away but the house needed a good cleaning. When we arrived the downstairs bathroom had not been cleaned and the upstairs while neat still was a little gritty, The floors had not been swept very well and furniture had not been cleaned off (kids snack food was still on the living room table). They are in dire need of a new cleaning service!! Also you could not stand to be outside as the mosquitos were terrible so the outside living space was not of much use. They were even in the downstairs bathroom which made showering there a real challenge. I don't think I would ever stay there again

Private and close to the beach

This house is set back from the road with ample tree coverage that provides a lot of privacy. It is also a very short walk to the beach. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was very cozy and inviting.

Very disappointed though. The air conditioning didnt not cool off so it was hot during the day. For 2 days the alarm went on and off consistently during the day and night. My son called the police finally. They had it stopped but then it stsrted up again until someone came out to fix it. Stopped by Carroll Realty and told them (besides calling). The man i spoke to didnt give me warm fuzzies. The area is beautiful . We needed to have a quiet relaxing vacation.

Great location!

Really enjoyed the easy access to the beach! Overall, the house is in good shape, but the cloth furniture and bed spreads could use a thorough/deep cleaning. We did not use the bathroom downstairs. However, I purchased some bleach and removed the mold from the shower curtain liner in the bath upstairs. I would use this home again, since it was in our budget. Thanks.

Cute but needs updating and thorough cleaning

It's a cute house and close to the beach but there were some areas in the house that needed to be fixed and updated, mainly the kitchen and bathroom. The couch was dirty and needed to be cleaned and the shower curtain in the bathroom had mold on it. We are not ones to really complain about the places we stay, but those were a few obvious things we noticed. We were able to look past those issues and enjoy our stay.

Cancellation Policy:
Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Travel insurance covers every guest scheduled to come on the trip. Please call us for more information or visit our website for detailed plan information. Upon arrival, if you do not accept the unit you have reserved your deposit will be forfeited.

Power/ weather related cancellation: Carroll Realty does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages, or forest fires. Additionally, Carroll Realty will not issue refunds in the event of a pandemic (for example, Covid-19) or acts of nature such as a hurricane. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
