Gulf front with sand and water access
Piper’s Landing is a waterfront getaway in Cedar Key with beautiful Gulf views and a layout that works especially well for families or groups traveling together. The home is set up a lot like two separate living spaces, with one level downstairs and one level upstairs. Both are accessed from the exterior, which gives everyone a little extra space and privacy.
The downstairs level has its own full kitchen, living room, dining area, desk workspace, and a large bedroom with a king bed. There is also a small full bathroom on this level. There is a small deck with seating to enjoy the view. It’s a comfortable setup for anyone who wants their own space while still being part of the group.
Upstairs, you’ll find another full kitchen, a large living room, dining area, and a sunroom that’s a great spot to relax and take in the water views. This level has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. There is a full futon in the sunroom area that is great for kids. There is a deck on this upper level as well with chairs and a table.
One of the best parts of Piper’s Landing is the setting. From the house, you can enjoy wide-open views of the Gulf, including Atsena Otie Key, Snake Key, and Seahorse Key. Just across the street is a small stretch of white sand that can be especially nice around mid to high tide for sitting by the water, launching a kayak, or just enjoying the view. As always in Cedar Key, just be careful of oyster beds when walking or swimming.
The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and great for walking. It’s an easy place to slow down and enjoy the island. The airport is nearby for sunset walks, and town is just a golf cart ride away for restaurants, shops, and local spots.
There’s also a washer and dryer in the garage, which makes longer stays easier, and the driveway offers plenty of room for parking.
Whether you’re coming to fish, kayak, birdwatch, explore Cedar Key, or simply relax and enjoy the water, Piper’s Landing gives you the flexibility of two separate living areas in a beautiful waterfront setting. -Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying -Do not trespass on other people`s property, this includes docks and driveways -Please be careful where you park, don`t block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic -Parties and/or events are not allowed -No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke -Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal -$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit -Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom -Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance -Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout. -Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more. -Please don’t rearrange the furniture. -Please do your dishes. -No illegal substances allowed on premises. - Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military. - ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies. - Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°. - If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles. You are responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from their use.

DID NOT STAY AT THIS UNIT NO REFUND
I booked a unit with VRBO on May 31. For 5 days for our 1 year Anniversary we wanted to escape to somewhere small and quit also look for some Real Estate . We had gotten a text stating our unit was ready to be checking in with our door code we were happy due to it was 2:30 then waiting til 4 . when we went into the unit everything look perfect ,I told my husband where is the washer and dryer in the kitchen was a door to unlock on our side so he unlocked it and open it to the right was a washer/dryer ( GARAGE) was full of personal belongings like paddle boarding golf cart ,suit case's ,toy's, water gear .that we didn't have access to .Immediately called the host McCormick Management Company expressed my concern that we didn't feel comfortable with someone's personal's belongings we didn't want to be responsible if the owner's something got missing . VRBO NEVER stated the unit had to share the washer or dryer with the upstairs unit . we left the unit immediately the lady read over the whole page with us just as it was stated on VRBO WEBITE .she had her manager called us 30 to 45 mins later as we was driving out of Cedar Keys 50 miles out of town . We also stated every concern with this manager she did offer us to come back and stay in another unit ,I told her no we are 50 miles away we was very upset that the website was very misleading I wanted a FULL REFUND. Monday I received a called at 11:30 am from a manager from McCormick I again went over the misleading information expr

We're sorry the property did not meet your expectations. Our records show you called us upon your arrival about the shared washer/dryer and the owners storage boxes in the garage. We responded within 15 minutes, offering to move the items, assured you the upstairs unit would be vacant, or relocate you to another unit.
The property listing clearly states: "The garage off the kitchen has a washer and dryer for your convenience. The laundry is shared with the upstairs unit; they access the area from an exterior door, the lower unit accesses the area by a door off the kitchen."
VRBO confirmed this information was in the listing with both our office and with you personally. We promptly addressed all your concerns and believe the listing was accurate. Not reading the listing does not justify a refund or a two-star rating. We always strive to provide excellent service and are saddened by this unwarranted review.
