We enjoyed our stay overall! The location was great with easy access to the beach, and the view was beautiful—definitely a highlight. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the place was surprisingly affordable for the area.A couple things to note: the kitchen was short on silverware (only two forks), which made meals a bit inconvenient. The patio furniture was also uncomfortable and some pieces were broken, and it would really benefit from adding lounge chairs or more comfortable seating to enjoy the view and relax outside.With a few small updates, this place could be perfect. Still, we appreciated the value and the great beach access!

Love this room!

We have booked this room a couple times now and we love the room and will continue renting this room on our vacations. I have always rented at Las Paloma’s and this room is just as nice and the resort is too!

The room was not bad but the hide abed sofa needs to be updated to saggy and old. The patio table was find but the chairs are old and some are ripped I was afraid to sit on them

Quick Trip

We had a great stay in this lovely unit at the Sonoran Sun. Comfortable bed and everything we needed. Could use some beach towels, but great overall! Property is well maintained and staff very helpful.

Perfect in almost every way!

I really want to give this property a 5 Star rating, but there are a couple of things that forced 4 stars. The pullout couch is in terrible condition, very uncomfortable to sit on. The other stuff I'm not going to mention because it is so petty, but you might want to at least put salt & pepper in the pantry. The condo, the complex is GREAT! The bed is super comfy. Easy, super easy access to the beach and pools. Great location.

Epic Views

What can I say, this resort has some of the best views and beach in RP. My only recommendation is to change out the massive dresser drawer in the master bedroom. I am 5'6 and 155 lbs and still had to turn my body sideways to squeeze to the closet side of the bed. For an oversized person this would be difficult and unsafe. Other that that, we loved the place and would stay again.

Short trip

Check in easyView is perfect. Right on Sandy beach.ConsNo beach towels? Hmm on the beach and can’t provide? Small inconvenience but would have been nice.No shampoo or conditioner…they leave you a trash bag and laundry detergent (couldn’t figure out the washer) but no bathroom amenities. When you are at a resort one would assume, but not here they leave nothing. Also, housekeeping comes but they just leave laundry detergent..didn’t make the bed. Take towels on the floor. These are small inconveniences but good to know. Older property but managed well. Would stay again.

Great Stay

Booking through VRBO was easy with instant confirmation. The property listing was accurate as to amenities and listed all fees. Any questions you ask through the VRBO website were answered in less then 24 hours during the week. The whole property was clean from the condo bathroom to the outdoor pool. All staff members were very friendly and very accommodating. The parking lot is controlled and attended 24/7. The photos on the VRBO website were accurate and my wife and I were pleased with the unit on arrival. Have your confirmation email with you when you check in, there are multiple agencies which rent units and the clerk at check in had to do some leg work to find our reservation. Bring extra bath towels, bring dishwashing soap, dish towels and oven mitts. The cook ware has been used but is functional. The water pressure is lower then what we have in our house so plan on showers taking a little longer. My wife and I will go back and stay here again. It is quite, clean and you can't beat the view.

I'm Disheartened

Love going to RP, first time at Sonoran Sun and very disheartened. Did not realize going through Vbro that another (3rd) party was the property manager. When receiving my wristband, advised it was too tight and was snapped on anyway. Asked to have it changed since it was too tight and was told they could not change it. Advised the front desk within 20 minutes of arriving that there were no dish towels. Was told I only get a sponge, no towels for the kitchen. Stove / Oven, Pot / Pans but not a single hot pad in the unit. This is a safety concern and a vital piece of kitchen equipment that needs to be provided. Advised by two different owners at the Sonoran Sun NOT to eat at the resort restaurant; both said food not good and one owner advised of prior food poisoning. My list can go on....

Regarding the bracelet at the time of check-in, you are asked if it is well adjusted before closing it as it can not be replaced unless it is lost and has a cost. That is why the receptionists always make sure that the bracelet is as the guest requested. I would like to comment that each condo has an owner, and they equip it according to the needs of the guest, thank you for your suggestion and we will pass it on to the owner. Unfortunately, we do not manage the restaurant, but we will forward your comments to the right person. Once again, an apology and we hope this experience will not prevent you from visiting us again. The property was gorgeous and the condo we rented was clean and comfortable. Everyone we had contact with from the front desk to the bartender and waitress at the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
