Robert, Not sure what you consider dated furniture?because you saw all of it in the listing pictures before you booked our place. It is not outdated at all. Luxury high type of furniture. As far as bugs, this is on a lake in up north michigan. I am not able to control the outdoors. Stove top works just fine, you were not doing it correctly, it can be troublesome if you have not ever tried one of these before. (you should have called me) The shower handle has been fixed in the master shower. I am very sorry you seem to use this type of description and words. I asked you how your stay was doing while you were there and this was your response. "I think everything is just great! Appreciate the note and will let you know if anything comes up." I really do not think this is a fair review, but I know from other reviews that the place is great!

I am sorry you had some issues during your stay. We did have some issue with the Hot tub During your stay, we encountered challenges with the company in obtaining the correct part. We did our best to keep you informed and to resolve the issue promptly. Since your visit, the hot tub has been repaired and is functioning well. Our grounds have been cleared and are looking beautiful, while the house is consistently maintained with meticulous cleaning. As reflected in other reviews, most guests have had wonderful experiences.
