The penthouse sleeps up to 12 guests across three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a kids' loft, making it perfect for families, friends, or multi-generational groups. The master suite features a king bed, private balcony, and an en suite with a deep soaking tub and two-person shower. The additional king and queen bedrooms offer beautiful island views, while the kids' loft provides twin and full beds in a fun, slumber-party setup with a TV and a third bathroom.
Inside, guests will find soaring 15-foot ceilings, chandeliers, marble floors, granite countertops, antique doors, and carefully designed lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The overall stay was good. Building was quiet, penthouse was clean and roomy. Plenty of beach towels and beach accessories although a few of the beach chairs were broken and unusable (obviously the owners are unaware). Kitchen was well stocked as far as dishes/utensils. The one thing that was a bit disappointing was the lack of any sort of spices (salt & pepper) or even a few starter packages of coffee. Maybe having these things around from previous tennants is against policy? But, overall it was a great trip (aside from the masses of jellyfish on the beach).

The location of the condo was great! Easy beach access and not far from South Padre blvd. The balconies allowed views of the ocean, as well as the bay side fireworks. The shower located in the loft bathroom was not useable, the sliding glass doors had been broken before our arrival, so that made our stay less enjoyable, due to 8 people using 2 showers. Also, the garbage disposal in the kitchen was inoperable and the sink backed up anytime it was used, leaving the sink full of old food and grime. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Decent for price

The location of this condo is great. The actual building is very dated and the building itself needs repair. Chunks of concrete is missing on parts of the outside. The condo itself is well decorated. The stairs to the loft are VERY narrow. It's a little dangerous if you're not in good shape. The view is spectacular. While the kitchen has plenty of pots and pans they probably need to be replaced. The beds were nice and the pillows were also good. The condo was clean. While we enjoyed our stay we probably will not stay again. I think you can find some thing newer for the same price.

Family spring break trip.

Very nice condo. The pool was not kept warm was a disappointment though. Also be on the 10th floor was a little scary if there would of been a fire because they had the doors to stairs locked when we tried them so no exit except the elevator.

Beautifully equipped for family.

This condo was spacious and well equipped for our family. The views were phenomenal with 3 different balconies to catch sunrises and sunsets. We appreciated the many offerings such as beach chairs, umbrella, volleyball, etc. We met several other owners and all were friendly and ready with great tips for enjoying the island.

Great location, beautiful views

This property is spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for a large family. Not only is it on the beach with some of the best views SPI has to offer, it’s also a great location within walking distance of restaurants, etc.

Beach Front Penthouse

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The views of the beach were amazing. The place was nicely decorated and very up to date. All bedrooms were roomy and nice beds. There was plenty of towels including beach towels. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking items. The communication with the property manager was top notch and responded quickly to my requests. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Christmas Vacation

This was our first time to South Padre Island and the condo was absolutely perfect for our family. We had 11 of us ranging in ages 3yrs old and up, the upstairs loft was perfect for the 4 teenagers we had. The spaces bedrooms on the main level were perfect for the rest of us. To be able to open up the balcony door and sit outside and listen to the waves crashing and watching the sun come up was picture perfect. Everyone at the property was very friendly and even before we arrived everyone at Frankie was easy to work with and very communicative. It felt like this was our 100th time there not our first. We will definitely be back and be (hopefully) staying in the same unit again.

Fantastic location and great views

Perfectly close to restaurants and shopping while still being quiet at night. Even the grocery store is within willing distance! The loft is a tight squeeze but the teens made it home and they had their own bathroom upstairs.

Spacious with great views only a couple of improvements needed...

Plenty of beds, everything you need for both in the home and going to beach. Having beach chairs and umbrellas was great! Little things like mosquito spray, sunscreen, beach toys, plenty of beach towels, all pleasant surprises. There was even WD-40 in the closet which was used to lubricate the squeaky door! Kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and all the kitchen tools needed. Could use some Tupperware containers with lids. The cleaning service needs some training as they don't pay attention to detail, but not "dirty". Bar glasses on open shelf are really dusty and dirty, there were dishes put away that were put up dirty, as in used, and not washed. Upstairs bathroom constantly smells like a sewer, think the pipes need looked at. The mattresses need to be replaced. Springs poke you and minimal support. All three downstairs bedrooms were horrible. No one's back is feeling good right now. Not sure on upstairs as the kids slept there and they didn't complain. Replace with tempurpedic and advertise that they are tempurpedic, you will have people rent for that reason alone! Internet is non existent. No matter the time of day or night. So bad that you cannot even watch TV. Had to use hotspot on the phone to watch one TV. Let the front desk know and they said there was nothing wrong with it. Negatives only given so they can be improved. Overall it was a great stay and would rent again (if beds replaced!). Thank you!

Family get-away

Great for extended families or large groups. We had 12 people in our group that ranged from 81-12 years of age. Place is on the beach with a private entrance to the beach, around the corner from the strip, restaurants, grocery store, convenience stores, etc. Also has a nice pool, grills for cooking out, exercise equipment, private parking lot. The place had all we needed, towels, appliances, dishes, beach umbrellas, boogie board, etc. Definitely a great place to stay.

Great Family Space

This space was amazing! My cousins and I had a "Cousins Retreat" to reconnect, and this space allowed us to do that comfortably. Lots of space, gorgeous views and right on the beach! We had a truly wonderful time!

Nice place but overpriced

It was a nice place to stay. Only complaint is with the added tax, cleaning fees, host fees at the end of booking It was overpriced. The upstairs loft is for shorter people. Pictures made it look bigger than it was.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Penthouse Dahktari! This was our first visit to South Padre Island & The Aquarius’ complex central, beachfront location made for quick & easy access to everything on the Island & in Port Isabel. The building is old, but extremely well maintained & lovingly cared for. Penthouse Dahktari is eclecticly decorated in a combination of modern functional & Tex Mex kitsch that played very well over our 3-week stay in the Condo with family. The views to the East, South & West are simply spectacular! Penthouse Dahktari is well stocked with condo, kitchen & beach amenities. Everything is in very good to excellent condition. Furniture & beds are solidly built & comfortable. We highly recommend Penthouse Dahktari for short or long vacation rentals!

Amazing !

This property was stunning! So much space , and everything was newly renovated. We loved the three balconies, and the views were spectacular. We were able to cook for our large family (12 of us) with enough cookware , plates , utensils , etc…. Including a beautiful park area with 3 grills. Every bedroom had a TV with access to streaming channels. Rent this condo ! We loved it

The condo complex is within 50 yards of the beach, and boasts one of the largest heated pools on the island. A large grassy area is available for those wishing to take in a game of croquet, soccer or volleyball. The penthouse floor has only 3 condos and the complex offers 24 hour security. The Aquarius Condominium is located towards the southern end of the island and most local shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance.
Designed with an assortment of unique architectural elements, the penthouse is in a class by itself. A number of antique doors, 15 foot ceilings, chandeliers, plant ledges, special lighting, marble floors, granite countertops and an open loft are just a few of the unique elements incorporated in the design. Loft area has 5'9 ceilings.
Totaling 1800 square feet, the floor plan is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath plus a kids sleeping loft. The space can accommodate up to 12 people.
