We just remodeled this pristine backyard cottage to include its own private, enclosed and covered deck, bench and outdoor furniture to create a serene lounging/dining area, lit for day or nighttime use. Surrounded by the wooded yards of larger neighboring properties, you will fall sleep to the gentle sound of crickets and wake to the chirping of birds as the dappled morning sun enters the cottage. 300 ft above the city, the sunsets too are spectacular, as the front yard faces west and the sun can be seen descending below the ocean horizon. This quiet cul-de-sac street is centrally located on the Mesa near many Santa Barbara amenities: 2 blocks away to Honda park hiking and running trails, 6 blocks to the Mesa Lane beach access. 5 blocks to organic produce and groceries, CVS, coffee shops and several restaurants and services. 7 minutes drive to world-class SB downtown Spanish-Moorish architecture, theaters, mall, museums and wharf. We will supply organic coffee or tea of your choice for your arrival. Driveway parking. Arrangements can be made for laundry use in the main house. Kitchen includes drip coffee maker or french press, Cuisinart toaster oven, microwave, electric cooktop and under-counter frig and freezer. We are locals and can supply maps and info for local cultural attractions and lesser-known SB trails and wilderness preserves.
