Welcome to Nine Pines Lodge!!! Nestled in the trees near Bear Mountain Resort and the Moonridge area your group will love this cozy and comfortable two-story log cabin retreat, surrounded by nine large pine trees yet still within a few minutes' drive to all local Big Bear activities. Boasting the comforts from home along with cozy mountain furnishings and modern Streaming TVs your group will love your stay here no matter the season you choose to visit!

After climbing the beautiful wood staircase, you will enter your chalet in the super comfortable living room area where you are immediately greeted with log décor and mountain vibes from the second you walk in. This room is beautifully dominated by the floor to ceiling faux log gas fireplace (this is the only heat source for this home) with a gorgeous log mantel piece that hosts a mounted flat screen Streaming TV. Your group will love snuggling up here on the couches and warming your toes in front of the fire as you pop on a movie with complimentary hi speed WIFI internet provided for your enjoyment by the owners. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.) The open floor plan flows seamlessly around the corner to the dining room and equipped kitchen areas where the group can enjoy sitting together and feasting on your home cooked meals at the log dining table. The chef of your group will love this adorable kitchen which is stocked with cookware and utensils plus basic appliances for your use during your visit and even a dishwasher to ensure a breezy cleanup. From here you can access the back deck with a Charcoal BBQ and treed mountain views available so you can grill up dinner and unwind in the evenings.

Your spacious chalet home offers the perfect layout for your party with a full bathroom on each level of the property as well as two bedrooms on each level of the property, each room is made up for your group with warm linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh shower towels for your visit when you arrive. The upstairs bathroom offers a jetted spa tub for you to soak away your fun day out on the mountain plus a stacked washer and dryer is on hand for those wet snow clothes or extended visits to the mountains. Nine Pines Lodge offers extreme relaxation and serenity surrounded by trees, boasting the best in amenities and décor, plus is equipped with essentials and then some, all while being located in a wonderful "close to it all" neighborhood, this mountain vacation home is the best destination choice for your next retreat to Big Bear!!

Great location, Cozy

This was a pretty nice place. We did have some problems, though. It is low in kitchen supplies: only four mismatched wineglasses could be found), utensils, and only one small pan, no large serving bowls or plates. The thermostat and fireplace are hard to work and don't turn off well. It is also smaller than you might think. All that being said, it was a nice weekend.

Disgusting property

We have stayed at VRBO’s all over the world and this is one of the most expensive properties we have stayed at and by far the most disgusting. The floors were riddled with stains, the kitchen table had a film of black dust, they left us a 1/3 of a roll of TP and when we called for more they said we had to drive to their office to pick it up. I could go on but all I can say is we will never be back to this property.

This property indeed has many stairs, as shown in the picture. This is NOT for the faint of heart or disabled, which my husband and I are indeed. I chose this site for the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, each with a door, nice kitchen, etc. The outside, especially the stair handles and picnic table are wobbly, which made me nervous holding onto them and being in nature, had tons of bird droppings everywhere. Knowing a group was coming would have been great if the decking and stairs could have been hosed down first. The barbacue grill was great. Top bathroom leaked when using the shower into the bottom bathroom, but let management know asap and they said they would have someone look into it but not to use the top shower. Tough with so many people. The top floor had the heating lamp left on in the bathroom prior to our arrival, so the entire 2nd floor was so hot I felt ill. We opened all of the windows to air everything out and cool it down. The portable fans were great in each room and extra bedding. The full mattress in the bedroom downstairswas so soft and was tough on my ailing back. My hubby felt the same. Everyone else seemed to do well in the other bedrooms. The area was quiet and lots of squirrels! Be careful if you have children as the stairs have a gap. Adults are okay. We cooked and everything worked both in the kitchen and grill. It was a pretty cozy cabin. You just need to be fit to do the stairs. Refinish hardwood turning black. Everything fixable

Great location to big bear!

Nice cabin, with a comfortable feel. Could use some updating on the beds and squeaks in the floor! But nice place overall.

Pet Policy-Pet Friendly Homes Only-$40/Pet/Night
Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
