This is a gorgeous 3 car garage Ponderosa built Palm Desert home in a gated community with 2 master bedrooms, each with its own en-suite full bathroom as well as a third bedroom with full guest bath. This corner lot home has a great open floor plan. The 3rd guest suite has a queen mattress as well as a bunk bed on top. The 4th bedroom has been transformed into a custom built office and is equipped with color HP Laser printer and fax.

The great room is spacious and opens to a large fully stocked gourmet kitchen with large island. There is a separate media room for TV and movie viewing. The back yard is very private and spacious with large contemporary custom built pool and spa. This 2800/2900 sqft model home was professionally decorated by the builder and has plenty of upgrades. Close to shopping, restaurants, and easy access to Interstate 10. You won't be disappointed when you see all this home has to offer. This home is leased turnkey furnished. Just bring your toothbrush!

Oct 1 - May 31: $10,200/month if more than 1 month.

Oct-Nov: $90/d
Dec - Mar: no heating avail. Ambient temp too cold
Apr - May: $90/d, after May, no need to heat pool due to warmer weather

Jun-Sept: Pool warm, heating not necessary. Please heat Pool consecutively (not a few days on and a few days off then another few days on as this is a strain on Pool system)

A piece of heaven on earth

This home has spoiled me for other rentals. I don’t even know where to begin. From the moment you walk through the door, you realize how special this home is. The owners are sticklers for details. The decor is lovely and well thought out. The rooms are spacious and open, perfect for entertaining if that’s your thing. The kitchen is beyond well stocked, a plus if you enjoy preparing meals. Every amenity is at your fingertips, which is an extension of your hosts aesthetics. They have large and lovely bathroom suites, with large plush towels, high end toiletries, luxurious linens, all of which you feel as though you are in a 5 star hotel. They have a sound system throughout and banks of lights that dim and can change colours. And all this before you ever stepped out the sliding doors that open to patio. You have your very own saline pool and spa, with lighted fire bowls with cascading water to soothe the body and spirit, fire pit, multiple lounging areas and a shaded area with dinning table and chairs. It’s your very own oasis. The owners are so responsive to your needs and easily reachable it you have a question. I have stayed in this home for several years and have always felt welcomed and cared for. I admit I can be picky. I like what I like. Believe me when I tell you, this home has it all.

Ponderosa on Matisse Drive

We found this home to be one of the finest places we have ever stayed. The kitchen is fully stocked plus most anything you need is there, just like home. We as others leave non perishable kitchen foods, spices, jam, etc., unopened for the next visitors, even leave wine and liquor. It seems all the tenants that stayed before us do the same which makes this place even more special and unique. The owners Alan and Brett make it feel like you are family and we appreciate all that they do to keep the home in top notch shape. Can’t say enough but could easily ramble on. Just a magical place that makes you want to come back again and again.

Perfect Palm Desert Rental

This year was the 4th year that my wife and I had the privilege of spending time in this home. It is just right for our needs since we do have guests staying with us at various times and the home accommodates another couple very nicely. Not only is there a second master suite but the garage is large enough to hold two cars very easily. We can't say enough about how well the home is equipped from modern technology to a kitchen with everything one would need for an extended stay. Our stays have varied in length from 3 months to 5 weeks and we are hoping to spend 6 weeks next season.

Amazingly Beautiful & Relaxing get-away Home

Our stay was absolutely perfect at this property in Palm Desert. The living area is very spacious and the kitchen is huge, you would not want to leave after you walk in! Kitchen is stocked with everything you need from spices to snacks, and if you need more, the location of the property is very convenient to the grocery stores. There was plenty of space in each bedroom, and the furnishing is very cozy and comfortable, as were the bath towels, bedding, etc. The outdoor landscaping is amazing! When you exit into the back with the pool, lovely modern fire pit, and hot tub, it definitely felt like a resort! We definitely had fun and enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and it looked stunning at night with the lights! From the furniture to the landscaping, everything was wonderful. Let's not forget about the technology throughout the house; there is music all throughout the property, from each bedroom to the outdoor pool. Also, the TV and surround sound was absolutely perfect for movie nights, just make some popcorn and you're good to go! The owners were just as amazing as the house, and responds quickly to any questions or concerns you may have. They placed a lot of attention to detail to make this the perfect get-away home to relax in and have an amazing experience. Overall, everything was wonderful and I wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back! Thank you Alan for a wonderful experience at your lovely property!!

Fabulous Rental

We have just returned home from our third year at this lovely home in Palm Desert. We have rented it for a full month each time, truly enjoyed every minute, and intend to return in the fall of 2017. The house is spacious, incredibly well stocked with cooking utensils and serving dishes and the cabinets are always stocked with just about anything you need except for fresh vegetables and other perishables. Its location is convenient for grocery shopping, is not far from El Paseo, the COD, and multiple golf courses, and has easy access to the interstate. The pool/jacuzzi area is magical and good for those who like to soak up the sun or those who prefer to read a good book in a shaded area and is a great entertainment area for evening get-togethers with friends. The saltwater pebbled pool is great for floating or a quick swim and is very clean and well tended. The bedroom suites are light and spacious, with comfortable beds and fluffy towels. We love the owners who are ALWAYS available for any questions or concerns we have had. We almost feel that this is our home away from home!

The perfect get-away!

My family, along with my friend's family, had the opportunity to stay at the Ponderosa home twice now (06/06/15 and 08/05/16). The house is breathtakingly-beautiful and very clean! It has ample room for 7 people (4 adults, 3 kids). It has all the amenities you'll ever need and it's fully stocked. The backyard offers a tranquil retreat (of course, the kids pretty much lived in the swimming pool.. they had a blast!). Trouble getting anything started? Alan, the host, is very reliable. He is the most gracious and patient host ever! He made sure everything was perfect from the moment we set-up the date up to the time we left! Excellent customer service and excellent home! Conveniently situated in a neighborhood that's in close proximity to shops/restaurants (minus the noise and traffic). I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for some quiet time or for some family fun!

Magnificent retreat

My husband and I have stayed at this home twice and have booked our third trip for the Spring of 2017. To say that the owners have spared no expense would be an understatement. Their attention to all details is a renters delight. They seem to anticipate your every need before you realize you have one. From the quality of the bedding, to the large, thick and abundant towels, to the beautiful indoor and outdoor furnishings, the dishes, glassware and serving pieces, all have been chosen with the upmost of care. Every moment of our stay we feel appreciated and valued. Is it any wonder we keep coming back for more?

AMAZING DESERT VILLA !!!!

We all stayed at this wonderful villa for 9 days, but wished we had stayed longer. This oasis in the desert is the most wonderful place to stay. :0) We kicked off our shoes and walked into what we can only describe as an “AMAZING” house. There is a large kitchen with a beautiful dining table which looks out to the pool and patio area, there is also another dining table outside (great for having breakfast), and also in the evening when all the lights are on, and the fire pit just finishes off the wonderful landscaping. The lounge has two big sofas and a rather large TV screen for watching movies, along with a sound system for all your music; indoors and outdoors. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and beds are very comfortable. The cleanliness of this villa is impeccable. You will not want for anything during your stay – this villa has absolutely everything!!! If you stay at this villa in Palm Desert you will never want to stay anywhere else!!!! It truly is the most amazing place to kick off your shoes and rest – and so peaceful. The villa is a credit to the owner Alan, who cannot do enough to make you’re stay at his home as comfortable and as memorable as possible. Pictures Don't Do Justice!

This home was everything that we expected from the pictures and more. The owners manage the property and are very organized and responsive to any questions or needs that we expressed (even added a second refrigerator when we pointed out the limited space in the kitchen refrigerator).The pool area makes you feel like you are at a resort. The home was very well equipped including all kitchen utensils. Hi tech system to control audio and video throughout the house. We look forward to returning in 2016. Dave & Maggie

Can't wait to go back

Everything about this place is perfect. This home is better than a home away from home. The beds and couches are very comfortable. It is equipped with everything you could ever want and more. There are so many ways to relax in this home - movies on huge screen, laying around the pool, enjoying the hot tub, coffee on the deck with your favourite book, having friends over that are all in awe of what a great place this is. This unit is close to anywhere you want to get to. The place was so clean. The owners are incredible and available to answer any questions you have. We stayed a month and wished it were two. Just a great great place to stay. Like I said we can't wait to come back. I recommend to everyone that they rent this place if you ever get the chance. Brian & Vera F.

Pure Luxury!

Everything about this home was PERFECT! Staying there for a week with my family was an experience we will never forget. This model home is beautifully decorated with elegant and tasteful furnishings. It's impeccably clean, very spacious and everything inside was brand new, and very well supplied. The pool area was also beautifully landscaped and very private. There was nothing this owner overlooked in making this a first class rental. Absolutely unbelievable in every aspect! The location was also great, close to shopping, dining, etc. This home far exceeded our expectations. I can't say enough about it.. We could not have asked for anything more. I emphatically recommend this home and can't wait to go back!

A Truly Amazing House!

I have used HomeAway on many occasions, and this was by far the most amazing home I have ever rented. Every single thing about this house was perfect, from the beautiful furniture and appointments to the absolutely spectacular pool and patio!!! Everything about this house said luxury, yet my family and I felt very much at home. My only worry is that this house won't be available next year for us to use again.
