Lovely apartment in the perfect location just blocks away from Luxembourg gardens and the Port Royal metro. We highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

The apartment is an oasis and a wonderful home base for exploring and enjoying Paris. There are cafes and markets nearby, the neighborhood is charming and safe. The terrace is lovely. The trees in the courtyard generate a lovely breeze. David was a wonderful host, greeting us and showing us the apartment and its features. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in charming apartment

Bob and I very much enjoyed our stay in David‘s apartment, we especially loved the balcony where we could have breakfast surrounded by trees on a quiet street. The location is perfect in a really beautiful part of the Latin quarter. And all the necessities were there.

We had a wonderful time in this apartment! It was conveniently located on a quiet street close to the RER and the metro. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the balcony amongst the trees overlooking a lovely courtyard where we had breakfast and wine in the evening. David stayed in close touch with us in the days before and on the day of our arrival. He gave us a very thorough orientation to the apartment and gave us some fruit and wine to kick off our stay there. We have stayed in numerous apartments in the 5th, and this will definitely be our first choice in the future!

Everything was great! David met us at the property and gave us all the details. So close to the Metro, Train and more. We walked everywhere in between and only used an Uber to arrive. The train to Airport was so easy, highly suggest to save money for more crepes! All the local eateries were amazing.

Great place to stay

David’s apartment is in a great location, and is very quiet for being in the city. There was plenty of room for the three of us, and we enjoyed peaceful mornings there before heading out for the day. The windows across the back make it feel airy and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was helpful to be able to run a load of wash. We were happy with our stay.

Fantastic apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful apartment. It is close to transit and there are so many shops nearby for essentials and cafés for meals. Our contact, David, was very kind and quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely book again.

Very comfortable with a beautiful outlook onto a tree filled courtyard and a lovely balcony. Very quiet. Pleasant neighbourhood with small shops and two minutes from the Luxembourg Gardens for walks. David met us at the flat and was very helpful.

Great Place

My wife and I spent five lovely nights in this apartment. Very close to Jarden de Luxembourg and many of main sites in Paris. Patisseries close by for fresh croissants and the baguettes. Small supermarket right across the street. The place is very clean and comfortable. The sliding glass doors in the back let in a lot of natural light. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Perfect Location and Apartment

This was an ideal spot for exploring Paris for my husband and me. The apartment is bright and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and charming little balcony for unwinding at the end of the day. Great location with many of the major landmarks easily walkable, as well as markets, bakeries and restaurants all around you. We had some issues with the wifi but it wasn't a big deal since we were out and about most of the time, soaking up this gorgeous city!

We loved the location so close to Luxembourg gardens (walked through there many times on the way to other places near the Seine River). There was a nice grocery across the street, and lovely cafe's and bakeries 1-2 blocks away. The apartment was very nicely furnished and decorated, and the bathroom and separate toilet was great (all modern, hot water working, plenty of storage space, etc). The balcony was so lovely overlooking a courtyard with large beautiful trees. The owner David was very responsive and helped us promptly with questions.

Comfort and beauty

This rental was a comfortable and quiet place to come back to at the end of a Paris day. The treed courtyard behind it offers a leafy view. The well-equipped kitchen meant we could host a friend for dinner. The walks to metro are a bit long, but we used Raspail, Notre Dame des Champs, and could get everywhere we needed. Short walk to Jardin du Luxembourg.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment! There was plenty of space for me, my wife and two kids. There are great bakeries, restaurants and the metro nearby. It was very hot in Paris when we were there (91º F/ 33º C) but David very helpfully left some large fans for us to use. Also the apartment looks out on a lovely courtyard of trees that was a nice source of cool air as well. David was a fantastic and gracious host and we couldn't have had a better time!

Val de Grace apartment

My husband and I and our adult son very much enjoyed staying in this lovely, spacious apartment in the quiet, non-touristy Val de Grace neighborhood. We walked everywhere and came back to a very comfortable home. The floor plan is excellent with the bedrooms well-separated from the kitchen and living areas. Communication with David was perfect, and he was extremely kind to meet us a bit early after our long flight from San Francisco. A big thank you to David from all of us.

Rue Pierre Nicole

Lovely appointed property. The terrace is calm and lovely for morning cafe and in the evening a glass of wine. Three metro stations within easy walking distance including the RER B line. I will be a repeat client. David the property manager is superb. He met me at the appointed time with a bag of groceries . Love 23 Pierre Nicole!

One of the best places I've stayed

For a Paris apartment this is hard to beat: spacious (especially for Paris - huge bedrooms!), the living areas full of light, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and absolutely fully-equipped down to details like kitchen knives that don't suck and the fastest WiFi I've ever experienced in any rental property anywhere. And it's two blocks from the RER B and the Luxembourg Gardens. This is the kind of place I expect I'll be hard-pressed to book again because after it's been on the market for six months it's just never going to be empty. But the next time I'm in Paris, it'll be the first place I try.

Feel like a local in your own "neighborhood"

The location is close to the Port Royal Metro, perfect for taking the train in from CDG airport. Conveniently there is a small grocery across the street. Local restaurants are very friendly and the food is delicious without being very expensive. So close to Luxembourg Gardens you can stroll through the park every day. The park even has an area with some exercise equipment and the park is also close for a nice jog. The apartment is quiet. The bed is comfortable and we loved being able to do a load of laundry before we left Paris for more travels in France. The host, David, is super helpful and accomodating. We'd book again our next visit to Paris.

Our stay was a disappointment. This property could be great, but lacks general care. I will start with the positives. It is in a great location. And, the space is very nice, with a small, but lovely balcony. However, it was not particularly clean and is somewhat cluttered. And, many things were broken. First, the doorknob to the bathroom was broken so one could never use the toilet in privacy. The shades in both bedrooms were broken and the sheers on the windows were only decorative. So the rooms would get super hot all day long and light would shine in at night. The legs on one the chairs in the dining room is broken and the knob to the dresser is also broken. The sheets for the pull out sofa (which is fairly comfortable) were ripped and not matched. The towels were frayed and ratty (also not matched). All of these items are fixable, with some TLC. Finally, I would suggest providing at least one more fan, preferably a stand-up one.

My adult son and daughter joined me in Paris at this lovely part of the city. We found everything superb and comfortable. David was a wonderful host and explained the use of various appliances. The washer and dryer were welcome after spending a week in Germany with distant cousins.This was my son and daughter's first trip to Paris, and they hope it won't be the last one!
