Private & secluded beach front on Lake Huron!

Our cottage is tucked away along the shores of lake Huron, with 125 feet of private beach frontage! We have massive cathedral ceiling with 26 windows, providing breathtaking views from every room! The interior of our home is updated with knotty pine, natural light and a recently renovated, fully stocked kitchen! We have a very open concept, with a large living room equipped with a cozy fireplace, TV AND even a little kids playroom under the stairs! Outside is where we spend most of our time, whether it's on the deck grilling, gazing under the stars at our bonfire pit, or relaxing on the beach- walking, swimming, kayaking, swimming, hunting for beach glass & unique rocks (pudding stones!), laying on the hammock reading a book, and most importantly, spending the evenings chasing the Northern Lights!

We are very centrally located, less than 15 minutes to Downtown Cheboygan! Lots of great nearby restaurants, hiking, snowmobiling, fishing, sight seeing, etc. while also being conveniently located to Mackinaw Island for a quick day trip!

Amazing!

Very private location, like our own little piece of Michigan. The house was comfortable and so cute! Gorgeous views even from the inside. We were able to see the Mackinac bridge on clear days. If you’re looking for a place away from everyone else, this is it!

View was amazing.

We had a nice little stay at this location. House and property was clean. The second bedroom was too small for 2 teenage/adult kids. My only suggestion would be a better set of sauté pans to cook with. The stay was enjoyable and communication with the owners was very easy.

Amazing private beach

The cottage was nice, but the beach was amazing and very private. If this place was on the western side of the state it would be double the price. I will say, if you are a snob you may find Cheboygan to be a little rough around the edges, but there is really no reason to leave that amazing beachfront. It is a bit rocky so bring water shoes. It was a great, and memorable experience for my family. Grateful to have had time here.

Beautiful home, gorgeous view!

It was very hard to leave this relaxing property! The home is beautifully furnished and was very comfortable for our family of four. We spent every morning on the deck, taking in the spectacular lake views. The trail down to the lake is a bit steep; you will need to be fairly agile to make it down, but its so relaxing to sit by the waves and take in the views. On clear days we could even see Mackinac Bridge. The kids loved rock hunting up and down the beach, swinging on the hammock, and nightly campfires. We visited nearby Cheboygan state park beach and Ocqueoc Falls for some more swimming fun. I don't usually write reviews, but this place is a gem. Thanks Brian and crew for a great stay!

Fabulous anniversay weekend!

What an incredible house with stunning views!! The house was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! It's very clean and inviting. Such a cozy comfy couch to curl up on and watch a movie. It was really cool to be able to see the Mackinaw Bridge in the distance! We look forward to coming back during a warm week! Brian was awesome and easy to get a hold of with great tips for things to do during our stay. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Nice place

Our weekend stay was nice. Property is clean and matches the listing. The only suggestion I have is to be a little more clear on entrance to property ( thought we were going down someone's 2 track driveway) just a little confusing but was fine. Also maybe some more guidance on how the house works. Lights were tough to figure out and the heat as well. Overall our stay was good and would recommend

Would highly recommend this property. The house was even better than appeared in the pictures. Beautiful, very well stocked kitchen. Great views of the water inside and out. The beach is great for swimming, kayaking, and rock hunting. Communication and check-in was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Favorite Michigan spot

We’ve stayed at quite a few places across the state of Michigan, and this is one of the top spots for us. The house itself is perfect…great view, wonderfully stocked kitchen, and an extremely comfy couch for napping. The beach is fantastic and provided a lot of great hours for relaxing by the water, rock hunting, and swimming. Wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Amazing place! You will not be disappointed.

Quiet getaway

Our family spent a quiet, relaxing week at this cottage. The house was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. We loved exploring the beach and picking our favorite rocks. The weather was gorgeous and the views were stunning.

Great cabin with great views

Great spot, great views and sunsets, beach is rocky but nothing water shoes can't fix. Clean with most necessities. Close to Cheyboyban and the State Park. Would recommend and stay again!

Great cabin, great view, great time

The property has excellent outdoor areas. The deck next to the house is large with good seating, there's a mezzanine area with chairs halfway down the hill to the beach for sunset viewing, and then there's the rocky, secluded waterfront itself. The stairs down to the beach are fine if you're relatively fit - I wouldn't send grandma down there. The house had a very good main floor to hang out in. Large kitchen/dining area and a large great room with amazing lake views. The second story bedrooms are tight - they have a bed and a dresser and no room for anything else. Luggage had to be kept in the loft area. It had two bathrooms which is a must when you have a family. Owner was responsive when we had a minor issue. Location was perfect for us between Cheboygan and Rogers City. Only downside for us was the three-person bunk bed. Our 10-year old had to sleep up there, but it was difficult to get up and down with no ladder.

Relaxing and private getaway with stunning views

My family stayed here for a week this summer, seeking a relaxing vacation with great views of nature and quality time together. This house was perfect for us! The house itself is very comfortable, with lots of great amenities (in no particular order: big comfy sofa, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, Keurig, outdoor fire pits, outdoor lounge chairs, kayak). There is a private beach. The views of Lake Huron from the house are stunning. Even while inside, you feel like you can reach out and touch the water, and with a window open you can hear the sound of the waves, and occasionally of the stream nearby. The Mackinac Bridge is visible on clear days. Sunsets from the house or beach are beautiful and there is great stargazing if the sky is clear.The owner was very helpful: renting and checking in were easy, and he offered great suggestions for things to do nearby. We wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Relaxing and beautiful

My family and I had such an amazingly relaxing vacation this year. The views here were simply amazing. The cabin had everything that we needed and more. The path down to the shore was a tad steep for my inlaws that came with us, but we where able to manage it ok. There where so many stars at night being away from all the city lights. The town near by had some very yummy restaurants and we did some fantastic fishing right in Cheboygan. This is our new vacation spot for sure. Will be back next year!

The cabin is very nice with awesome Lake Huron and sunset views from inside it and from the patio. It was also clean inside. We really enjoyed our stay even though there were a few minor issues (Brian's responsiveness on those were great - thanks Brian!). We will definitely rent the property again in the future!

Relaxing getaway

We had a relaxing stay at the cottage . The location was secluded and relaxing , yet close proximity to many other places to visit . We explored many local parks and trails and enjoyed many scenic hikes nearby. The views of Lake Huron were amazing from both inside and outside the cottage! It was very cool to see both the sunrise and beautiful sunsets ! The private beach was fun to sit, relax and explore as well .

Great experience

Wonderful views of Lake Huron. We were very surprised when the clouds parted briefly and we could actually see the Mackinac Bridge, even though it was 27 miles away. Owner was very helpful, especially in getting the driveway cleared after a sudden snow storm.
