We had a wonderful family vacation at this lovely home. It had everything we needed and much more. We really enjoyed the fire pit, dock, kayaks, paddle boards and beach toys. It is a great property!

Beautiful house and the view is amazing. The house was very clean and was stocked beyond belief (kitchen, towels, etc.) Bob was very communicative. Excellent stay.

You will love your time at this wonderful location!!!!! The house was warmly inviting, clean, and had all & more than you will need for a very comfortable stay. Our family of 8 (ages 66-2 1/2) were absolutely pleased with the accommodations. The private beach with use of a canoe, paddle board, dock & chairs was so nice to have. We also took advantage of sitting by the fire pit while watching the sun rise or set. Our week at this house was just perfect for our family and one we will remember for a long time.

Beautiful Lake Huron is in your backyard!! Just gorgeous views and we were in or on the water everyday! Everyone loved the kayaks and paddle boards. You can hear the water from your bedroom at night. Rob, the host, was so helpful! The kitchen had everything you could need. The only room for improvements were the hard mattresses. And you had to be a bit creative with the bathrooms and showers just because of the layout. It was a wonderful week!! We would highly recommend this booking!!

Amazing lake house!

What a wonderful lake house! The property had everything our multigenerational family needed for a summer beach/lake vacation. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Amazing views!

This was our second stay at the Manderson Lake House in Cheboygan. Another amazing vacation right on Lake Huron with private beach and water toys to enjoy. In a secluded spot but close enough to Mackinaw City and the ferry to Mackinac Island. The house is clean and very comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great views from the house or backyard. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

This house and property is right out of a dream! We had the best time! The house had everything we needed and extra bonus with the water toys! I have never seen such a beautiful sunrise! We can’t wait too book another vacation here!

Peaceful retreat

What a great place to stay. You wake up every morning with Lake Huron welcoming you. The great lakeshore for walking, finding that special rock or sitting and relaxing. The house has everything you could possible need. You are close enough to Mackinac but far enough to be with nature. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beach and clean home

Well appointed and very clean home on lovely private beach. Enjoyed canoes, paddle boat and Fire pit with 9 adirondack chairs. Upstairs bed a bit firm. Appreciated very clean home, warm remote welcome, lots of cookware and grill.

The property and view were stunning. Anything you needed was there except your clothing and food. The owners were very accommodating and thought of pretty much everything you could need Very private and most comfortable. Highly highly recommend. It was perfect for 6 adults and 4 little ones. Beach was wonderful. We would definitely go back. Miss it already.

Amazing Lake House

Extremely well furnished lake house with amazing views. Everything you need aside from food was there in order to have a great family vacation. The kayaks and paddle board were a hit with our teens. Everyone enjoyed the home, lake, and location to the Cheboygan and Mackinaw areas.

Heaven on earth!!!

We loved this lakehouse. Perfect for our group of 5 but sleeps 12. Amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed sitting around the firepit and listening to the lake. Loved using the water toys. Weather was perfect mid 70's. Close enough to visit Mackinaw City and take the ferry to Mackinac Island which were very enjoyable. The owner's make the home very welcoming and comfortable. We hope to return next summer and highly recommend!!

Lake Huron Beauty

The house was beautiful and perfect for our big family! From the large spacious kitchen/living room combo, to the beach access, this place is perfect! The owners went above and beyond to furnish all of the extras and conveniences. Plenty of linens, towels, toiletries, coffee, kayaks, life jackets, and beach toys. We loved visiting downtown Cheboygan, as well as Mackinac Island, and Mackinaw City. The weather was beautiful. Would love to return!

Little Bit of Heaven

Beautiful setting on the lake, perfect for playing and relaxing. Well-appointed kitchen for preparing meals and special snacks. We appreciated all the labels on cabinets and light switches! Great video collection and lots of games for rainy days. While there were only 4 of us, the house comfortably sleeps 12! Would highly recommend for a family gathering or hanging out with old friends. The beach is private and quiet. Wonderful experience.

Incredible stay, Incredible property owners

We stayed at the property with our extended family for a long weekend gate-a-way. My grandparents are handicapped and had no trouble with their stay, my son is 8 months old and did great with the stay as well. The first day, we noticed the fridge wasn't cooling to temp, all our food was lukewarm. Within hours, a new fridge was installed with quick communication directly from the owners of the property. Not only is the property amazing and perfect for an extended family stay, but the owners are outstanding and very accommodating.

Home on Lake Huron

What a great home with a private beach. House is well stocked with everything needed for your stay. Do not hesitate to book this house. Very high on my list of houses we’ve rented around the country and Mexico. Beach has paddle boat, kayaks and life jackets for your use. Nice dock to hang out or enter the water. Was really cold, but you got used to it. Large barge traffic most days. Sunrise right over Lake Huron and also had full moons rise over the Lake. We’ll definitely stay again if in the area. Lovely beach oasis with cozy fireplace

We had a fantastic time!! Eight of us enjoyed the home. It is very spacious yet felt cozy. We’ve stayed at many Vrbos together as a group but this one was definitely the most welcoming and offered many unique touches to make one feel special. Very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Plenty of storage space for food and clothing. Lots of countertop area for preparing food or just hanging out around the kitchen island. The views are spectacular of Lake Huron. We all bundled up and took a walk down the beach even though it was the height of winter. The scenery kind of draws you in to explore the surroundings. Once the walk was over we came back and started a fire in the indoor fireplace. This was a perfect way to end our day. We enjoyed a day trip to Mackinac city and of course ate at our favorite restaurant The Thirsty Sturgeon. Cheyboygen offers a wonderful little town to leisurely explore - especially a lovely shop offering Rum Runners! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us for a few days!!

We booked this property to stay at for a family wedding. The house is right on Lake Huron with steps down to the beach. It essentially has everything that you need right onsite. There is a grill to bbq, a nice big firepit and a beautiful beach! Our family enjoyed staying here and will definitely be back!

Absolutely heaven on earth! Beautiful Lake Huron view and darling house. It felt like coming home. The host was excellent in communicating with us and there was every home comfort in the house.I highly recommend this charming property.

I loved the kitchen, plenty of room to work. Lots of dishes, utensils, pans for cooking. Beds were comfy, extra pillows was a plus. Lots of supplies for the beach available. Host was accessible for questions. There were no issues that needed to be addressed. Would stay here again.
