*** NOTE- DURING THE MONTHS OF JUNE-AUGUST, There is a minimum of a 5-7 day minimum stay depending onweek. We have a beautiful new dock with a sunning platform for drop off from your boat and 2 mooring lines that can be used to secure your boat or rental. Dock is not for securing boats or heavy toys.
****NOTE- DURING THE OFF SEASON OF OCTOBER-MAY, -The dock is no longer in the water, the outdoor furniture and grill are put away when weather no longer permits outside visiting and grilling.

Welcome to your Vacation lakeside retreat on the pristine shores of Mullett Lake with a perfect blend of tranquility, recreation, and comfort. This Cozy cottage with breathtaking panoramic views, a spacious open floor plan and gorgeous kitchen make hosting a large group of guests a breeze. The private boat dock with sandy bottom swimming will bring smiles to all faces. A perfect NMI base camp, even when the weather cools off. The North Central Trail is right around the corner for hiking and biking. This is a highly desirable spot for fishing, winter and summer. Centrally located between the quaint town of Cheboygan and Indian River where you can visit small shops, many restaurants, and breweries.
Summer enjoys:
By Boat---(summer) Sandbar so close you can see it from the window. Hot doughnuts from the Aloha Store, a nice dinner at the Hack-Ma-Tack or a slow boat trip down the Cheboygan or Indian Rivers. Marinas close by for rentals. Wednesday and Saturday Farmers market in Yuen
By Car-- A short trip to town, Golf at several local Courses, Breweries, Mackinaw City.

Awesome location and beautiful home!

Mullett Lake is amazing and this rental was a perfect place to enjoy it! Our stay here was great and the owners were great and very responsive with our communication. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

The Mullet Lake cottage is beautiful and luxurious. It is the perfect location for daily excursions to Mackinac Island, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix and Petoskey. It is equally ideal for reading and relaxing. This is definitely a five star property.

Amazing spot on Mullett Lake!

Perfect spot on Mullet Lake! The house was super clean and cozy. Lots of room for cooking and hanging out in the kitchen with friends. The host was super responsive and helpful as well. Would love to stay again next year!!

Perfect Lake Cottage

This Mullett Lake house is the perfect base camp for northern Michigan adventures or just staying put enjoying the house and surroundings. The house comes very well appointed and is exceptionally clean. Owner was easily accessible for questions/recommendations. Cannot go wrong with this rental.

Great home for entertaining! Superb sandy lakefront home. Had a mooring line for our boat and a nice dock with ladder. Owner was great to work with. 100% be back again

You won't regret renting this place!

Seriously, between the location, the lake and the house this has to be the best place we have rented (and it's been a lot!). Matt was result available to answer any questions and the house itself is great. Being able to walk right on to the yard and the lake was so convenient and the lake off the house was sandy, clean and perfect for a float. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for a sisters weekend!

The cottage is beautiful and well appointed! The indoor space has plenty of place to spread out with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen had everything we could need. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the patio and especially loved the gas fire pit. Access to the lake from the dock was perfect for using our paddle boards. Communication with Matt was great with house instructions and advice about local attractions. Everything was as described and in the photos. Would definitely come back. Great stay and highly recommended!

Modern home in great location

This home is completely updated and sits right near the water with a great view. The dock is in excellent shape and you can swim off the ladder with a nice shallow sandy bottom. We enjoyed watching boats come in and out of the Cheboygan River. Plenty of parking and a mooring buoy for our own boat. Kitchen and living area were very spacious for us all to hang out but not be on top of each other. The patio with the gas table fireplace was very relaxing. Highly recommend this place. The owner keeps in touch to make sure you are completely satisfied.

Family vacation

We had a very nice time staying at Matt's lake house. They have a beautiful home. The place is well maintained and full of amenities. The lakeside is sandy and moorings are available to attach your boat. Nice vacation

Wonderful Week

The location of the property is in a perfect location. 5 minutes to Cheboygan, 3 minutes to beautiful bike/hike trail. Very close to the lake on a nice flat property, lots of nice shade for little ones to get out of the sun. Mullet Lake is beautiful with opportunity for any water sport you can imagine. Shallow, clear and warm water with a sandy bottom was perfect for swimmers. The house was very well equipped for cooking as well as plenty of towels and extra bedding! Loved our week!!

U Should be Here~~ Welcome to " the 517 Foote Lakehouse"!! My husband Jim and I have been looking for over 10 years for our special place on the water. When we saw this place, we knew it was the one!! We are both from the area, met in Cheboygan where I grew up and now reside in Harbor Springs with 4 kids (3 graduated) and a Business.
We decided that we would continue to share this beautiful Lakehouse until we can be there more. Our goal is to continue the great retreat that Matt and Heather have provided for the past several years to so many.
