5/28/2025: - Parking is included at no additional cost NOW through December 31, 2025. Starting January 1, 2026, a daily public parking fee of $35 will apply.

4/5/2024: Waikiki Sunset is undergoing an air conditioning maintenance project from April 22, 2024 through May 2025. Visible construction work around the property and some intermitten noise is expected. No work will be done within occupied condos. For all projects, work hours will be restricted to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Room didn't ha e the same furniture as shown in the pictures.

Room was dirty, we had to re-wash the dishes, the carpet was stained, the pull out bed/couch was new, ( not the one shown in the listing) but not comfortable to sit on, and the king bed was way to hard for our liking. (personal preference)

Fab location!

Great value for the location and all the extras. Was pleasantly surprised to have beach chairs and umbrella to use. Waikiki is amazing!

This place was very clean and nicely done. The building had a little market too with just about everything we needed. Rec area was very cool! Would definitely stay again!

A nice spot for a few days

Reviewer Comments: Nice building, free parking with Vrbo rental, big full 1 bedroom 1 bath unit with free internet and 2 cable tvs Coffee pot was the only disappointment. Would rent again but Waikiki is getting so packed I think we’ll just cruise from now on.

Great Waikiki location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was probably the best VRBO rental I've ever had, and they've all been pretty good. Location was fantastic, 5 minute walk to the beach and the main drag in Waikiki with all the restaurants and shopping. Check-in/out was easy and the parking spot was a blessing. Room was in great condition and had beach chairs, boogieboards and umbrellas for use. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything we hoped for!

Convenient and Well Kept

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first experience at the Waikiki Sunset. While the building is older, the room was very well kept. It did not feel old or out of date at all. Checking in was easy and everything went very smooth. The location was extremely convenient and the neighborhood was safe. Walking to the beach, food or entertainment was way and very close by. The view was nice. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Christmas in Waikiki

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to Hawaii and we absolutely loved this unit! It was in a great location and while the building appears to be older, this unit is very modern. We had an issue with our pass not working (to allow access to the building from the parking garage), but other than that everything was as described online. The views from the balcony and bedroom window was awesome! I would definitely stay in this unit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice condominium, great location, Secure building with easy access and having a parking spot was nice. I’m giving it a five star review however there are some things that need to be updated. The kitchen and bathroom appear to have been recently renovated and are very nice. The living room and bedroom are dark, needs new updated LED light fixtures and furniture and curtains to brighten up the place at night.

Nice Location

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The positives about the condo was it's location and the kitchen, everything else needed TLC. The couch was dirty, carpet was not tacked down and curling up so you would trip walking, the floor lamp was broken and to hold it in place a bag of sand was used to secure it in place, the furniture had much wear and tear, and the shower curtain rod was rusty. I would not rent this condo again.

Love Alii Beach rentals Returned back to them a few times .

Reviewer Comments: Aloha ,Lovely Near the beach location in Spacious Studio Room in the Waikiki Sunset Hotel ,with free parking included .They are quick to help in response to email concerns ,and overall we really enjoyed our stay ,there were a couple of minor issues which we emailed at the start of our vacation which the responded too quickly .The studio has everything you need to make you feel Home from Home ,Prices have risen since we checked on this particular Studio but look forward to Visiting Hawaii end of year again as we now nee 19 times .Mahola Nuii Loa .

This apartment was fairly clean and had everything we needed for our two weeks in Waikiki. Having free parking is also definitely very helpful. The kitchen was very nice but there was no working fan. The bathroom was also nice. Overall the apartment was good. Our only criticisms of the rental are minor and relate to the datedness of the furnishings. The lamps were wobbly and the rug in the living room was kind of grimy looking. They also could have left more than twos rolls of toilet paper.

Very Clean Condo - Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was one of the cleanest condo's I have stayed in. The location is perfect, meaning walking distance to the beach and downtown Waikiki. The management company is wonderful. I have stayed with this property management company in the past and both times they have provided what I needed in a timely manner. The location is on the quieter end of Waikiki. The condo is a little more worn and older than the picture reflects, due to furniture scratches (especially when cherrywood stain is used) and general wear and tear (it could use a newer color of fresh semi-gloss paint). The picture makes it look new and shiny which it is not; but I would stay again.

However, it is good because you can park your car in front of the entrance.Parking is so easy!This can be done anywhere other than the reserved location.It's a bit narrow, so be careful if you have a large car.The room is next to the elevator so it's very convenient.but! This is a very important point!I want a manual on how to use the TV remote control!Please be prepared.I had a very comfortable stay!I would definitely stay here again.Thank you! Alii Beach Staff.
