Beautifully Remodeled Lakefront Home in Western Maine Mountains

I'm so sorry you were unhappy but I am very surprised by this review and I feel I should respond to each point directly. 1. The mattresses are relatively new, as are the beds. In fact the queen mattress in the spare bedroom is only a year old and is quite firm. The master bed is a bit softer but we find it very comfortable and have never had any other complaints. The twin beds are also on the firmer side. 2. Many of the linens are new within the year. They are always cleaned between tenants. We have had the same cleaning person for a few years and have received compliments from other renters about the cleanliness of the house. 3. We do not throw away condiments and many tenants are grateful for the convenience of having them available. Perishable food is always removed from the refrigerator when it is cleaned between each rental. I'm not sure about the reference to an "old spoon." 4. As this is a family home periodically offered for rent, we do store our clothing in totes under the beds and leave some bulkier items hanging in the closets. We always make sure to leave plenty of empty closet and drawer space for our renters. 5. Many of the items in our home are antiques and, as such, are not always in pristine condition although they are clean. We believe they add to the rustic charm of our home. Lastly, as home owners we have been blessed by having wonderful experiences and communication with the people who have rented our home. We take pride in it and want everyone to love it like we do. Although we answered every question and communication you had, of which there were many, you seemed unsatisfied from the start. I'm sorry our home wasn't a good fit for you.
