In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 1, the maximum allowed occupancy is 2, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 2.

This updated, second-floor, one-bedroom Kiawah Island vacation rental has a screened porch and is a 60-second walk to the beach.

Upon entering the foyer, you are welcomed by a tranquil color palette and hardwood floors. You can go left into the bedroom or straight to the main living space. Down the hallway is the open living space with kitchen, dining, and living areas. The comfortable living room offers a sofa, cozy side chair, wall-mounted TV, and screened porch access. The fully equipped kitchen showcases stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and white cabinetry and allows for easy meal preparation and entertaining. The dining area features a table with seating for four. The main living space is highlighted by soaring ceilings, a wall of windows and sliding glass door access to the screened porch.

The bedroom features a king bed, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and private entry to the hall bathroom. The bathroom is conveniently accessible from the bedroom or hallway and offers a large tiled shower.

The screened porch, also with an elevated ceiling, provides four chairs and abundant opportunities for relaxing and viewing the surrounding natural beauty and nearby lagoon. A bike path is conveniently located behind the villa, and the beach boardwalk is about a minuteā€™s walk from the villaā€™s front door.

The villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $150. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more ā€“ the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kidsā€™ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Great location for couples getaway

Easy walk to beach. Beautiful new stairway to access the condo. Screened in porch was lovely. Interiors could use a bit of updating and a fresh coat of paint. There was a hint of an older smell to it, but not enough to be a problem. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Respite after the storm

Kiawah is a lush and lovely location with a gorgeous beach and easy access from the unit. Very relaxing - some of the furnishings are in threadbare condition. Overall unit pleasant and met our needs.

Great location

Great location; property could use a good deep cleaning, especially dusty baseboards. Shower needs a good cleaning. Our towels had a cigarette smell, so I had to wash them. Very convenient to have a washer and dryer!

Check in and communication with Akers Ellis was excellent as was property location. Unit is old and dated. Dark colors, old furnishings, bathroom paint peeling, bed linens old and missing pillowcases on some pillows, mattress old and uncomfortable old small TVs. It is an easy and cheaper fix to paint lighter colors, replace mattress and furniture, larger tvs, and generally modernize the appearance. Would not rent again for these reasons.

Nice place, could use some minor fix ups.

Great location, perfect for a couple. Cleaning was less than stellar, but adequate. The pair of underwear on the floor in the closet from the last guest, presumably, made us doubt the thoroughness of the entire clean-up. Neither the stick vacuum or the large vacuum worked. The stick didn't start at all, and the larger vacuum ran, but basically scattered the sand and dust I was trying to clean up with no suction. Other than that, the furniture, kitchen accessories were quite good. The towels provided could use an upgrade...pretty thin and worn out at this point.

Nice location

The 1 bedroom villa was comfortable and a great location close to the beach. We enjoyed the view from the porch, especially when a great blue heron visited a particular limb over the canal.

Perfect Kiawah getaway

Clean, cozy condo, perfect for a couples getaway. Updated, well maintained and very well equipped. Just a short 1 min. walk to East Beach and located close to nearby shopping, restaurants, golf and entertainment. I can't recommend this place enough!

Only good thing was the location

I have learned my lesson about renting from real estate companies, and I never will do this again. Owners CARE because they spend time in a property themselves. The living room furniture was so dirty & gross that I had to put a sheet over the couch so I could bear to sit on it. The rug was disgusting. Every piece of furniture was nicked and stained. The walls were scuffed & dirty and the closet had mildew stains. The unit was clean, at least, and the location was terrific, but coming "home" to this place after a day on Kiawah's beautiful beach made me feel like trash.

Quiet getaway

My husband and I came for our babymoon and really loved it. The beach was truly a short walk away and not too crowded. The listing was as pictured and we enjoyed having a kitchen to be able to cook some days versus drive to town for meals. The only small complaint was the rental umbrella could not handle the wind on the beach. The stake kept in the ground, but the weak and thin metal wires inside the umbrella kept getting pushed almost inside out with the wind and everyday was windy on the beach. The wind itself is great and helps with the heat, but Iā€™d highly recommend figuring out another umbrella situation, there are some even available on the beachfront itself.

Comfortable stay close to the beach

This place has a great balance of location and price. We had a very enjoyable stay. There were a couple of issues; there was sand on the floor of the apartment, but as there was a vacuum and broom on n the apartment we adapted. However, we also found sand in the bed, between the sheets. The host was very responsive, however, and had fresh linens delivered.

The location was fabulous walking to beach unit needed a little upgrade chair older patio furniture rusty but the major drawback was next door unit with dog barking at 4am lower unit smoking which flows up on patio I know these cannot be controlled by owner but it was part of our stay loved the beach and location not so much rude neighbors oh well

A wonderful week at Kiawah

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We feel several of the problems were lack of care/supplies by the owner not the cleaning crew. No spare light bulbs for the ones that were out in the bathroom and inside entrance. I switched bulbs from other areas. The laundry area was in bad shape. I wiped the top of the inside of the washer which was messy. I had to clean sand out of the dryer drum with a damp towel several times. The filter had not been cleaned but it was easy to do. Inside of the laundry was was covered with lint and sand over the floor. Take a look and see how I had cleaned it. It had an old broom which was not useable so I put it in the dumpster. There were 4 cans of paint on the floor, 2 of which were dried out and rattled when I shook them so I threw them away. I got a dust pan of sand from the floor and much lint. I wiped off the water heater and other aras to remove lint. I left the lint on the boards on the right so you could see the area needed more cleaning. There were 2 beach chairs which I refolded a placed along the outside wall. I swept the entire porch floor to remove the sand so it would not be tracked inside. I brought a 5 ft runner for the door entrance and took the small rug outside and shook off the sand so we could place our shoes on it. We did not wear shoes inside. The outside door mat was full of sand so I carries it out in the parking lot and dropped it 20 times upside down to remove as much sand as possible. The porch light was so full of dead bugs I was not able to see the numbers on the lock mechanism in the dark but eventually had success. Thanks for your crew cleaning it out. The porch light cover needs to be washed because it is still dirty. We had 4 lizards on the stair railing, 3 brown and 1 green which we enjoyed them greeting us each afternoon getting warm in the sun. We would prefer the unit below us next time. I checked 24B on Eugenia and saw they had replaced the door mat and added a sign to remove your shoes which we really liked where we will be in March.
