Welcome to 4253 Mariners Watch—a wonderful Kiawah Island retreat just 200 steps from the beach! The Mariner's Watch Villas are in one of the very best central locations on all of Kiawah.

Set in the highly desirable East Beach area, this nicely renovated second-floor villa offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal charm. You’re moments from Night Heron Park, the five-star Sanctuary Hotel, and the Nest Café & Market, making it easy to enjoy everything Kiawah has to offer.

This villa is always kept clean and it's second-floor location means no overhead noise, while the cathedral ceilings create a bright, open, and spacious feel. Inside, you’ll find thoughtful updates throughout, including a brand-new bed, two new flat-screen TVs, a new cozy accent chair, and a comfortable sleeper sofa—ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach.

A short walk or bike ride takes you to the Sanctuary’s outdoor bar and dining, and Night Heron Park is easily accessible—especially convenient if you’re renting bikes from the resort.

This premier-rated villa features solid-surface countertops, hardwood floors, stainless-steel appliances, updated cabinetry, a small bar area, and a spacious walk-in shower. The villa comfortably sleeps four, with a queen bed in the primary bedroom and a queen leather sleeper sofa in the living area. New mattresses and furnishings ensure a restful stay.

The villa is locally managed, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that any needs during your stay will be handled promptly.

A wonderful condo in a prime location! The unit is well-kept, stocked and clean. You can't be the location, being one street back from the beach. Barb, the owner, is fantastic! We had a couple of questions during our stay and she quickly responded. I would stay again. Thank you, Barb! Our first trip to Kiawah was memorable and I can't wait to return!

Kiawah Getaway

Had a great stay in Barbara's Villa. It is warm and cozy and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is great with a short walk to the beach, bike paths right next to the building, and close enough to walk to the Night Heron Park/waterpark and the Nest Shop. Barbara is very responsive to any questions you may have, and truly a caring person, wanting her guests to have the best stay possible!

It is a nice villa. Close to the beach. All amenities were clean and fine. I would suggest replacing the sliding door to the porch as the glass is completely faded and blocks the outside view. Also perhaps get a shower head that allows one to adjust the pressure. I would also have liked a latch on the screen door in addition to the front door. Thanks.

Nice and quiet

The condo complex is nice and quiet except for the 2 days of parking lot and sidewalk repairs. They were quick and we were grateful they were not there all week. The unit could use a good more through cleaning. Pollen was out of control and porch was basically unusable as it was covered in pollen. Same with front door and screen. Unit living space was ok but could use a deeper cleaning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach and a very nice area.

Location, Location, Location

Love Kiawah, What better way to enjoy your time at Kiawah than to be at this awesome condo. It was very nice, clean, so close to the beach, and you couldn't ask for a better location or property manager. The recommendations about the area and restaurants were spot on. The beach was so close and spectacular. Enjoyed out time and hopefully, will definitely be back.

Excellent Place to Stay

We have been going to Kiawah for 7 years and this property was excellent. We have stayed at several places around the island but seem to always love the Mariners properties because of the closeness to the ocean. I highly recommend this property because the property owner reached out to us twice to make sure we were enjoying our stay and asked if we needed anything while we were there. The place was clean, couch and bed were comfortable and there were literally no bugs at all which are typically found down in a lot of properties on the island but not this one. Definitely choose this place if you have a small family and want a good getaway with easy access to beach and other places like the nest that is a hop skip and a jump from the property!!

Lovely condo

We enjoyed our stay. Barbara was so attentive to every question we had. The bedding was comfortable as well as the furniture. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. It was about a five minute easy walk to the beach. The only issue that some people might need to know about is that it is on the second floor and you have to climb about 22 steps up to the unit. Other than that, it was great for us.

My husband and I found Kiawah on a drive from Pennsylvania to Florida headed to a vacation on Amelia Island with our two young kids. When we saw Kiawah, we cancelled Amelia and have been frequenting Kiawah ever since. We did stop by Amelia a few years ago and NO comparison. Kiawah is beautiful, minimal traffic, tons of bike trails, awesome beach, nice pools, lots of nature.

Beautiful Beach - rated one of the top in the world! Many activities for kids and adults, Tennis Courts and Golf Courses. Make sure to rent bikes and tour the island. Even when Kiawah is fully occupied, it never feels crowded. The landscape and wildlife at Kiawah is amazing.
