Wake up in the morning to views of dolphins and tropical birds. This first floor, 2 bedroom condo, is 50 feet from the waters of Boca Ciega Bay, and has direct views of the water from the living room, dining room and master bedroom. You can eat dinner in a new beautifully decorated dining room and after dinner relax on your patio while watching the sailboats and yachts pass by. When you get tired of sitting, you can take a short walk along the water to the pool and spa overlooking the bay for a refreshing swim. The pool is chilled in the summer and heated in the winter to a perfect temperature that everyone enjoys. In the evening take the beach chairs to the private sandy beach and watch the gorgeous sunsets. Settle in for the night in the comfort of your living room watching a movie on a 42 inch flat screen HD television.
This is a beautiful condo for a couple or a family, with as little, or as much as you choose to do. La Puerta Del Sol is an immaculately landscaped, quiet community on Isla Del Sol. It is just minutes away from some of the award winning gulf beaches like St. Pete Beach and Fort De Sota Park. There are numerous waterside casual and fine dining restaurants with many offering a variety of entertainment for all ages. If shopping is your pleasure it is a short 20 minute drive to Johnā€™s Pass or the mall. On your return a reserved parking space awaits you just steps away from the condo entrance. Just 15 minutes away, the historical city of St. Petersburg has many museums, a trolley ride, shops, movie theaters, an aquarium, and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays major league baseball team. Downtown Tampa is only 30 minutes away with more to offer, including Busch Gardens. Walt Disney World and Orlandoā€™s numerous attractions are only a 90 minute drive. Golfing, parasailing, jet skiing, biking, tennis and just plain relaxing is all in abundance in this area!
If you are flying in, the Tampa and St. Petersburg airports are within 30 minutes.
Sorry, but the Condo Association will only allow rentals with a minimum 30 day stay. Entire condo redecorated!!!!! King bed in master bedroom and bathroom totally remodeled to include a walk-in shower, and tiled vanity area. Hurricane vinyl windows and patio doors installed December 2015. Guest bedroom has a queen bed with bookcase headboard and twin Trundle beds, great for grandparents to have their children and grandchildren for a visit.

Awesome vacation

This property was in a very safe location. The area is beautiful and quiet. The condo was very clean and well supplied. The pool area is kept very clean and large size. Great view of the ocean right outside your back door. A very comfortable stay. The host is amazing! Highly recommend.

Amazing

Amazing! We stayed here for 2 months. We have vacationed for 30 years as a family and this may have been one of the best locations yet. We felt like we were at home. Linda is great! Great communication before and during the our stay there, which there wasn't that much because there weren't any issues. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful views, great pool area and bbq area. We have already began to plan future vacations at this beautiful home away from home.

The Sweet Life

What a joy to watch the dolphins swimming right outside the condo windows. The condo is centrally located to great eateries and very close to the beaches. The floorplan is very nice with a view to the outside from the kitchen, living room, dining area and master bedroom. There are two bedrooms that have been recently updated and new furniture added within the past year. Ground floor access makes it easy for those with walking difficulty. The community pool, hot tub and some beach availability at low tide provides diverse entertainment for young and old. Within a short walk, are several eateries, an ice cream/coffee shop, dentist, dry cleaners, hair styling salon, and women's dress shop. A golf course is nearby for those interested in the sport. St Pete beach is a short 3-4 minute drive away. Grocery and drug stores are a short drive as well. For the fisherman, you can fish right outside the condo, or watch some locals casting and reeling in their catch. Can't go wrong with this condo!

Beautiful Condo

An Oasis of Peace

In the midist of the corona virus, tenting my home for termites, selling my home and preparing for an out-of-state move this condo was an oasis of peace. It was comfortable with everything we needed. The view was restful, the property well kept, the pool chilled and delightful. And is was quiet - the space I needed to energize for my new life.

Convenient to restaurants, groceries, drug stores, shops and beaches. Beautiful views with opportunities to see dolphins playing outside the sliding glass doors. The floor plan is great with a view of the water from the living room and the master bedroom. Very clean accommodations and well light location at night. The lighted gazebo near the water and the large pool are nice amenities to enjoy.

Best place and best host EVER!

Linda made the process super easy. I loved her place. She was like a mom to me. Sunsets and sunrises are beautiful from the livingroom and bedroom. Coming home from work everyday to this place was a delight. It was energizing going to the pool every afternoon and wetting my feet in the ocean EVERY AFTERNOON!!! Looking forward to coming back!!!

The Perfect Location!

The condo was as depicted in the photos. Very clean, well stocked kitchen. Lots of extra towels and linens. The pool area and grounds were beautifully maintained. Views are amazing and we spotted lots of dolphins. Excellent location close to shops, restaurants and beaches. Especially enjoyed being able to walk to The Boardwalk restaurant for happy hour and dinner. Island Grille was also one of our favourites nearby in Tierra Verde. The owner Linda is very accommodating. We would not hesitate to recommend her condo.

Relaxing holiday

This was our 18th visit to Isla del Sol (although our first at this condo). I cannot fault the condo at all and our stay was relaxing and quiet, just what we wanted. We had no problems while we were there and the weather was excellent.

The condo has a wonderful water view and the remodeled kitchen is very convenient. The dining room carpet looked a bit worn and the bathrooms could use some updating. Overall the condo is bright and spacious. We enjoyed the many bike paths in the area and great beaches near by.

Great Time at La Puerto del Sol

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this spacious and well equipped 2 BR condo. It was especially convenient being on the 1st floor. The unit is situated in an excellent location with outstanding views of Boca Ciega Bay from the living room and patio. We found the guests as well as owners to be extremely friendly and helpful. Linda was extremely responsive and flexible and we look forward to returning next year.

Winter Escape

My husband & I spent a beautiful month in Linda's condo and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We enjoyed the condo, (excellently equipped), the magnificent view and the beautifully kept grounds. We enjoyed many meals outside on the patio, overlooking Boca Ciega Bay where the dolphins play! The pool was also wonderful and daily swims were the order of the day. St. Pete's Beach, restaurants and shopping are all just a short drive away. The photos accurately reflect the condo's appearance and amenities. The owner is approachable, efficient and reliable, We would recommend the property and plan to book again next year.

A wonderful month in Puerta del Sol

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful month at Linda's Condo in Puerta del Sol. The condo was fresh, clean and well equipped. It is situated in a beautiful location with easy access and convenient parking. We really enjoyed the view of the bay from the living room and patio (often with dolphins playing or swimming by), and found the condo to be ideal in terms of proximity to beaches, restaurants, shopping, fishing. We enjoyed walking throught the Isla del Sol area during the day and in the evening. There are restaurants within walking distance (Boardwalk, Japanese, Subway) and a small country store with a deli counter in the adjoining section of the island. We enjoyed quiet discussions with other residents of La Puerta (including some from our home town) while enjoying the heated pool and hot tub. The area has an excellent security staff which is effective without being intrusive. We found the description of the condo including the amenities to be complete and accurate. The owner made the rental process simple and straight forward. We intend to return. In brief, we recommend this condo without reservation.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 month vacation at Isla. The condo owner (Linda) is very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating in meeting vacation plans. The large ground floor condo is conveniently located to the pool as well as parking and it is well maintained and very comfortable. The pool is quite large with plenty of lounge chairs and always has a lovely breeze from the adjacent bay. The condo community of La Puerta del Sol has excellent security and makes one feel very secure. St. Petersburg and the beaches are within easy commuting distance. The dining and shopping is very good and the area golf courses are very reasonably priced and challenging. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come back again. I wouldnā€™t hesitate recommending this vacation condo to anyone seeking a sun holiday in the St. Peteā€™s area.

Waterfront Condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this waterfront condo in La Puerta del Sol. The condo was comfortable and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the view, watching boats, dolphins and birds from the porch and living room. Isla del Sol is a beautiful area with many friendly people. The pool and beach area were also great experiences. Linda, the landlord was very cooperative and easy to work with. We highly recommend this condo and are returning again next year!

Tropical Respite from Winter

This 2-BR condo was spacious and a delightful place to return everyday after our daily trips around the area. Because we spent time enjoying the unseasonably warm Jan. weather at the beach, the beach chairs, umbrella and towels were much appreciated. We loved waking up to views of the birds and dolphins frolicking in Boca Ciega Bay, as well as the palms trees blowing outside our windows. The grounds of La Puerta are beautifully landscaped and manicured, and the pool and hot tub are immaculately clean, offering a sweeping view of the Bay. A washer/dryer in the condo was great as spending time at the laundromat does not fit sweetly into our vacation plans (we were there one month so laundry was definitely an issue). . Isla Del Sol is a beautiful island with private residences and condos, as well as a golf course and tennis club, and we enjoyed many walks around the area. The owner was very helpful and kind and easy to reach by phone or e-mail.
