Enjoy your vacation in a charming cottage with a great location just 200 yards from direct beach access to the ocean. This home is beautifully decorated and loaded with many extras to make you feel right at home. Surf the internet or stay caught up at work using the complimentary high-speed wireless connection.

Our home is centrally located at milepost 10 convenient to a variety of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, fishing piers and family entertainment. Enjoy area attractions including the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Jockey's Ridge State Park, Nags Head Fishing Pier, Jennette's Pier, North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, The Lost Colony, Oregon Inlet and Pirates Cove fishing centers and area lighthouses. For the ladies of the house, an outlet as well as many local flavor shops are located within minutes of the cottage. This Nags Head vacation spot offers something for everyone in the family.

This lovely beach home offers an upper-level deck. From the crow’s nest you can see the ocean, enjoy breathtaking sunsets, and watch spectacular star shows! It is the perfect beach getaway for small families to make lifelong memories.

Level 1: One bedroom with two twin beds, laundry room with washer and dryer, utility sink, large outside shower with dressing area, covered driveway with spacious shaded area for relaxing or playing outside games.

Level 2: Two bedrooms (queen size bed in each), two full baths, living area, kitchen and dining area, access to deck.

This property features keyless entry eliminating the need for person-to-person contact during check-in and check-out.

Perfect Beachgoer's Stay!

A very clean home, perfect for a family of 4 and a couple of friends that want an easy short walk to the beach with walkable access to shopping and food. The home is well stocked and included everything we needed.

Family vacation

The house was perfect for our group of six adults, clean and just as described. The house was within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants which was great. It was extremely clean and well supplied with everything we needed. Cindy was an amazing host ( the best host we have had with any rental). She was quick to answer any questions we had prior to booking and supplied recommendations for things to do, restaurants, etc. Would definitely recommend this house to others and will re-book if we are back in the area. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

It had everything but….

The only problem was there were we had to bring all our own stuff as well. I had to bring knives, towels, sheets toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper, and spices at all. Other houses I stayed at had at least a few of these items. Other than that it was great.

Family vacation

The house was comfortable, well-supplied, and in a great location - walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. We appreciated the beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, toys, etc), as well as the easy access to EV charging.

A great visit to the Outer Banks

Our family of six (including three sons (ages 20, 16, 13), and daughter (age 9)), really enjoyed staying at this location. The location was key as it was a short walk to the beach (less than two blocks with a public access point to the beach). In addition, the location on the northern edge of Nags Head allows convenient access to all of Nags Head, Manteo, Kill Devil Hills, and Kitty Hawk for dining and other adventures. The house was very clean and a perfect fit for our family. The two bathrooms and outdoor shower allowed us to get ready quickly. The kitchen and dining room table accommodates eating in while the living room provides ample space for everyone. The owners are extremely kind and provided recommendations and advice as we planned our trip. Since we flew to Norfolk and drove to the Outer Banks, the beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, and umbrella in the storage shed were sincerely appreciated and helped make our days at the beach even more fun!

Family Beach Trip

This is our second time in Nags Head for my daughter’s Graduation gift. The beach house is beautiful! Only a short walk to the beach! The owners Doug and Cindy were very wonderful and accommodating! They had beach chairs, beach wagon and boogie boards! Would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back! Thank you!

A Treasure in OBX

My family was looking for a short 4 day getaway. We have three college age children. We found an amazing property with an amazing location. Check in and check out we’re both quick and efficient. The owner Cindy was very quick to answer any questions we had. We arrived to find an immaculately clean house. The layout was awesome for 5 adults. Bedroom on bottom floor with two twin beds and plenty of room inside the bedroom, it also has a TV with cable. Upstairs there were two bedrooms with queen beds, again with plenty of room in the bedroom. House had two bathrooms, a large kitchen with everything you need. The family room is large and the furniture is clean and comfortable. There is a flat screen TV with cable. The shed outback had 7-8 beach chairs, umbrellas and a few body boards. Washer and dryer are like new, awesome to take clean clothes back home. The deck and look out spot on top of the house was awesome. The location is unbelievable, approximately 300 yards straight walk up the block to feet in the sand. Brew Thu is one block the other way. Many stores and restaurants within a 1-2 minute drive. A few within a 8-10 minute walk. I highly recommend staying at this house.

Fantastic

We stayed here with my son and some friends of his from college. It was perfect. The hosts are friendly and attentive. The house is beautifully furnished and kept. The location could only be improved by being literally on the beach. Everything you need is in the house (including beach and grilling equipment, bad weather entertainment systems) and grocery stores, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance if you are so inclined. I cannot rate this house any higher. We loved it.

Fall Break with granddaughter

Our group of 4 had a great time during our stay. The weather did not cooperate and we only had one day of sun. The currents were bad so we could not go into the water. That said, the house is very centrally located to restaurants and shopping. It is about 2 blocks to the beach. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It was nice to be able to park out of the weather to get into the house with all the rain! The owners were very easy to contact and responded quickly to any of our questions. A great place to stay! Wonderful vacation!

Clean and comfortable

We booked this property last minute and really didn’t know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised at this clean and comfortable home. Beds were comfy, outdoor shower was great, kitchen was updated and well appointed. The pictures don’t do this home justice. Just a short block+ walk to the beach. Owners were super responsive when asked any questions. We were very pleased! Just an FYI though if you like to stream at night- bring your ROKU!

Great location, easy process

Great communication from the owner, even better location. Enough left behind beach stuff in the shed to fill in your “I forgots”. We had pre cooked/sealed some epic dinners so I can’t speak on eating out but there’s a lot of restaurants in the area, busy enough to where they seating set up in the parking lots. So if you got a cook in the crew I highly recommend making use of the well stocked kitchen. Will return!!

Post CoVID getaway

The location of this property is excellent- steps to the beach and walking distance to many great restaurants. The house was exactly as described with lots of games and beach chairs provided. This was our first time renting a house and we would totally stay here again. Cindy made it really easy to check in/out as well.

Great host & home

Our hosts were amazing, the TV didn’t work when we arrived (not that we really needed it!) and they made sure to have it fixed ASAP. The neighborhood was fantastic, right where we needed to be! Will be back again!

We have vacationed in Nags Head since we were teenagers. It's a great getaway! For many years our vacations were spent in a large oceanfront cottage with family. One year our family group did not go to Nags Head so we decided to rent a 3BR, 2BA beach box located in the proximity of our cottage. We enjoyed the quality time with our family of four with parents joining us for a few nights. After that vacation, we realized that we didn't have to be directly on the oceanfront to enjoy the beach. That is when we decided to buy our own beach cottage. The best memory-making investment ever!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We LOVE the location! We're not oceanfront, but about as close as you can get without being there. We are centrally located on a side street off of main traffic routes with a direct public access away from crowded hotels and condos. Sometimes we are back and forth from the beach a half dozen or more times a day easily. No problem if you forget something, need to go back to the house for a potty break or lunch/snacks.

Our home is located on a corner lot so you're not pinned in between two other cottages. During your stay, you'll be able to spend quality time with your closest friends or family and still find some quiet time if you need it. If a rainstorm comes, don't worry, one of the best places to hang out is the carport area under the house where you can read a book or listen to the rain and look for rainbows.
