Our chateau, located on a hill on a unique private lot of over 4 acres, is a great location for people who would like to visit the Monterey Aquarium, Carmel restaurants and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk all at the same time, while also driving approximately 40 minutes to Silicon Valley. Monterey, Carmel and Santa Cruz require about 30-35 minutes of easy and smooth driving, but the prices we charge for our units compared to the prices and our absolutely secluded location in Monterey and Carmel is a vote for our place. Yes, we have a completely separate unit upstairs with a separate entrance and sometimes it is occupied. But having our other two units with their own backyards makes up for some of the regular sounds of us, two adults, staying in the upper unit sometimes.
