Enjoy this beautiful, just remodeled 2 bedrooms 2-1/2 bath condo, located within the Seascape Resort in Aptos, CA. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a vacation with the family or friends. Walk down the scenic path to a breathtaking beach, relax by the pool, play golf or tennis. The resort has several luxury restaurants located right on the beach and across from the villa in the charming ocean village. Villa is overlooking the pool and is a few steps away from the breathtaking beach. Enjoy direct ocean views and listen to the ocean waves at night. Villa has 2 bedrooms upstairs (King and Queen), with balconies/patios on each level and a Twin fold-out couch in the living room. BBQ grill on the 1st-floor patio and fully-stocked kitchen. Free hi-speed WiFi access, toaster, coffee maker, beach toys, boogie boards, big beach umbrella and beach chairs you can bring to the sand.

5 minutes driving to Seascape Golf Club.

Completely new redesigned European porcelain bathrooms and new floors were just installed.

Seascape was absolutely amazing. Aptos was a great location to enjoy both Santa Cruz and Monterey. The highlight was looking out the condo and seeing humpbacks right outside!The condo was very clean and comfortable. The beach accessories and beach towels were very nice to have supplied. The grind were beautiful and views were fantastic. We highly recommend staying here. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions and were extremely helpful.

Horrible communication with owner

We flew from South Carolina and arrived at the San Jose airport at 10:50, so did not get to the condo until around midnight Wednesday night. The check in instructions gave a code to the door...that didn't work! The check in instructions also gave a number to call if the door code didn't work (this obviously happens often). I called the number 7 times and left a message and text. I received no answer and no response. I messaged the VRBO owner through the app. I received no response until the next morning around 8 am. I had my 82 and 83 year old parents with me, so this was extremely dangerous and frustrating! I had to search for another hotel and it took 5 hotels because it was Spring Break for a lot of schools in the area. We finally found a hotel in Santa Cruz around 1:30 am (our body time 4:30 am) and I had to pay for 2 hotel rooms.When the owner responded the next day around 9 am, she also sent me a lockbox code for a lockbox on the handrail outside the condo, "just in case the door lock does not work". The door lock is obviously a frequent issue. The owner should have given the lockbox code in the check in instructions if she does not want to answer the phone at night. If you own/operate a VRBO, you must have someone who can respond to emergencies assist with check-in issues. The owner told me she would refund Wednesday night (this was last week, April 16). She said it would take a few days. I have yet to receive a refund.

Disappointing Experience

I recently stayed at this property and was a little disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the access code was changed at the last minute, causing a significant delay with our check-in. This was incredibly frustrating after a long journey.Communication with the property manager was nearly impossible. Tried calling multiple times but couldn't get a hold of anyone. This lack of responsiveness added to our frustration. Upon entering the property, we were greeted by an unpleasant smell of wet dog, which was quite off-putting.Additionally, the place was not well-stocked with coffee. There were only five coffee pods provided, which was insufficient for 3 people over two days. We inquired on the type of coffee maker the unit provided; we were going to bring our own, but we reassured there would be plenty available to us in the unit. The dishwasher was another major issue. It was not secure and tipped over while loading, almost causing the dishes to break. This was a safety hazard that should have been addressed.The condition of the property was also disappointing. The walls were damaged with scuff marks, giving the place a neglected feel. Lastly, the beach was much further than described, which was a letdown as we had chosen this property for its proximity to the beach.Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations for the price we paid

Great Condo; Close to Ocean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The two bedrooms and two of the bathrooms are on the second floor with the master having a balcony that faces west. The other balcony is off the living room and also faces west. The condo was very clean; I was able to walk barefoot in the condo. A short walk to a pathway near the resort’s hotel takes you to the beach. The host was very pleasant and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful find. A quite, spacious condo with a beautiful view and comfortable furniture. Woild definitely recommend if you are hunting a peaceful get-away.

Ok Rental

Property looked like the pictures except that the cushions on the patio chairs outside the master were shredded on both sides and there was a dirty large plastic bucket on the balcony. The listing also stated AC and there is none, just 3 portable fans. Opening the doors provided air, but the group next door smoked cigars on their balcony which blew into our unit forcing us to close the doors. The entire complex lost power 4 times while we were there for 1-3 hours each time, either first thing in the morning when trying to get ready for the day or evening. Property management needs to make sure codes and contacts are accurate for the stay (wrong pool code and inaccurate information regarding keys). The location is good.We won’t stay here again, the constant loss of power was too disruptive.

Maintenance required throughout the unit. No clean sponges, wasn’t as clean as expected in many ways. Patio furniture was worn out and unsuitable upstairs. Dining set on table was dirty when arrived. Washed all dishes as we used since wasn’t totally clean.

Great Location and great host!

We were very impressed with how clean everything was! We loved the location right above the pool and the short walk to the beach. When I messaged the host with a quick questions, she answered within minutes. We hope to stay again soon!

Trip to Seascape

Very nice location and seascape resort is beautiful. Condo number 12 does have a small ocean view which the ocean is down below this condo sits on a bluff. The pool is very handy in the condo. There’s two bedrooms one with a queen size bed, and one with a king. They were very comfortable. The bathrooms were fine except they gave you one hand towel and they had a whole bunch of bath towels, but they had zero washcloths so if you’re coming to this property, make sure you bring your own washcloths, in fact, you will need to bring kitchen towels, a kitchen rag and sponge and your washcloth. They had none of those. It’s a typical Santa Cruz property. They do the minimum maintenance. It is worn in places and you can tell but it is very comfortable kitchen is very dysfunctional. You cannot get under the sink with the dishwasher open , and there are two potholders good luck finding them. Small couch in the living room that pulls out into a bed that somebody could sleep on overall we had a great time it serve the purpose, but just kind of disappointed on some of the amenities that you get at regular hotels for less money and you didn’t get it this location .

Great views and comfy accommodations

The views were absolutely as advertised. Very nice place in a quiet complex. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with a short walk down to the beach. The Nespresso machine came stocked with tons of pods and added to the luxury feel. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we’re out that way. Thank you Nicole!
