The house is just as described. More than enough room for our family, we had 9 adults and 2 infants. Would definitely stay again!

The neighborhood was excellent. Swimming pools were well kept. A couple were very crowded with kids but the one closest to our house was not crowded and never any issues. Convenience to groceries, beverages, and food places was very nice. My daughter and her boyfriend actually hooked up with a realtor to see a couple houses in the neighborhood that were for sale. Golf courses were nice as well.

The property was in good shape and the kitchen well stocked. The rooms were clean when we arrived. The only thing that was not cleaned was the grill outside, which my son cleaned it before we used it. We appreciated the bicycles, but you could use a smaller bike for our one younger grandchild, who was just a little small for the regular size bike. He was disappointed that he could not ride with us. The beach chairs were great! The people in the neighborhood were very friendly and waved to us as we walked and traveled about. The Community pool was also very clean and not crazy busy the days we visited the facility. Overall a very good experience at your home. Thank you for allowing us to rent to spend our family vacation there.PS I wanted to nmention that the toilet in the first floor bedroom sometimes would stick and keep running. I went in several times and had to jiggle the handle and then it would stop running. So it appears something was sticking when the toilet was flushed.

Annual family vacation

We were a group of 10, 8 adults and 2 kids, 14 and 9. There was plenty of room to spread out. The community is quiet, the pool reat and there were pickle ball and basketball courts. The community was very clise to the beach and attractions. Centrallt located to get to Ocean City, Bethany and Rehoboth.

Excellent vacation

The house was comfy and had lots of space for our two families and 5 kids. It was close to the beach, ice cream and all the things we wanted to do. It also had an outdoor shower so we could rinse off the sand before entering. The property manager quickly answered some questions we had. Overall a wonderful house to relax in.

This is the 2nd year staying in this amazing house. It is perfect in every way. The garage has an extra refrigerator, 14 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, numerous bikes, strollers, fishing rods and beach toys. The new Blackstone grill, the outdoor shower, the deck with lots of outdoor seating was great. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. With 5 bedrooms, it fit our 15 person family perfectly. We didn't even need to use the queen sleeper in the sunroom! The office with a printer came in handy. The Refuge neighborhood has a wonderful playground, huge pool/ baby pool, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts. We went crabbing from the little neighborhood pier and caught 27 crabs in less than an hour, and we fished, too. The Refuge is a 2 minute drive to Walgreens and Food Lion and is only a few miles from the Fenwick Beaches and the Freeman Center. Everything in the house is in perfect running order. We've stayed in many rentals over the years, but this house is truly "The Perfect House."
The pool had beautiful flowers in containers, lots of tables with umbrellas and lounge chairs. It is open 10-8
We put the 27 crabs we caught in less than a hour in the bike basket.
The kitchen table seats 8, the sunroom table seats 4, and there is a picnic table and table with umbrella and multiple chairs on the deck.

Excellent property

We had a group of 12 men for a weekend golf trip and this was a perfect house. Very close to many quality courses and the space was very comfortable. The house is well stocked and provided a great spot to cook dinner and relax

Delaware beaches

We had a great stay at this very comfortable property. The pool was just a short distance away and very large, The area is quiet with views of the ponds and wading birds from the back yard. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. Great location, close to many restaurants, groceries, and the beaches.

Home away from home

This is our fourth year staying at this property and each year we have the best vacation. This property accommodates our large family comfortably. Our children love riding bikes, swimming, and playing basketball within the community. The location is perfect and within great distances from many beaches. Can’t wait for next year!

Another excellent stay

We have stayed in this development and specifically at this house before. Check-in process is seamless and house is clean with recently updated curtains, couches and carpets. Plenty of comfortable beds and TV, internet and AC all work well. Another great stay. We will be back!

2024 Family trip

This home was perfect for our family of 10. Located in a quiet community but still close to attractions. The pool area was exceptional. The host was very easy to work with. Everything you need in the kitchen. I especially liked the sunroom.

The Refuge Beach house in Selbyville, DE

This property was beautiful! The kitchen was so well stocked for anything you might need. They had bikes, beach chairs, beach toys, double stroller, pack n play, access to an amazing swimming pool in the neighborhood which we used every day at no extra charge! Kelly got back to me with any questions I had via text very quickly. Beautiful location and deck out back. We had three vehicles with our family and there is plenty of parking there in the driveway. We loved everything! We would definitely rent this house again. It's close to all the DE beaches also. We went to Fenwick Island State Park beach, Ocean City, MD , North OC Beach which has free parking, and on our last day we went to Delaware Gap State Park which was awesome too and perfect for your last day when you need to check out of your house by 11am. Includes a bath house for bathroom and showers, restaurant, snack bar, and huge parking lot for $10 daily fee.

Only problem was Wi-Fi and cable didn’t work properly, and I think every bedroom should have a television!

Wonderful Home

This was our second time staying and we absolutely love it!!! Great neighborhood, great location close to everything. We have a wide age range of children and they also enjoyed it very much! Plan to stay again next summer!

Great house!

House was large and spacious. Lots of room, clean, and perfect location. The pool was great. I missed the memo about bringing our own sheets and towels in the listing so be aware of that. The house was awesome and we’d love to come back!

Beach trip

Kelly is a awesome host!!! Everything in house was great, plenty of room for entire family.... couple small issues and Kelly resolved quickly!!! Close to beach, grocery store!!! Very quite neighborhood, we loved the open kitchen, roomy sun room!!!!! We will definitely stay there again!!!! Can't say enough about Kelly hospitality!!!! Our family had a awesome time, we ate our meals together, played games, went to beach, shopped, restaurants, made allot of great memories!!!!!! Thank you again!!!!!

Labor day getaway

Beautiful home inice community pool and tennis /basketball courts and well kept nice neighborhood.....great location close to ocean city attractions and restaurants and grocery stores etc....only a few things could use some attention such as back sliding door not easy to use we used side door in sun room also a few of the bikes need some attention ,the queen beds were comfortable twin/singles heard a few complaints ....but in general was pleased and would definitely recommend this rental
