Rick was very responsive and accommodating. The property itself is old and tired, and in need of some maintenance. The lack of hot water and low water pressure for showers was disappointing. No air conditioning in the main living area made for hot nights when the doors needed to be closed at night. We enjoyed the island but would stay elsewhere next time.

Hi Bob. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback — we truly appreciate it. We’re glad you enjoyed your time on the island and that I was able to help with the airport transfers, vehicle rental, and other arrangements. I’m sorry to hear the property fell short of your expectations in a few areas. Villa Beachcliff is a well-loved older home, and we’re always actively working on upgrades and maintenance to improve the guest experience. Having the Atlantic Ocean at the front, and the Caribbean Sea at the back is priceless for breezes and views, but it's a tough environment for villas. Regarding the water pressure and hot water, Grenada is currently under strict island-wide water restrictions, which have been challenging for everyone. Our large cistern and booster pump help, but during extended outages the pressure can drop more than we’d like.The good news is that Grenada is in the process of a major upgrade to the water delivery system which will greatly enhance availability of water in our area. Also, I should have been clearer in explaining that we have an on-demand propane hot water system that sometimes takes a minute or two to deliver hot water to the suites at the end of the run. I have already included this explanation in our "Information & Instruction" PDF we provide all our guests with at the beginning of their stay. The lack of air conditioning in the main living area is also noted. The design of the Great Room is “Open Door Living”, with wonderful breezes coming through the villa from the Atlantic Ocean. We have installed ceiling fans, and floor fans , and we’re exploring options to make the evenings more comfortable when the trade winds aren’t as strong. We’ll use your comments to prioritize these improvements so future guests have a better stay. If you ever return to Grenada, we’d love the chance to host you again and show you the updates. We had a fantastic stay for our three generation, Grenada homecoming! The house was perfect with so many different outdoor spaces to enjoy with incredible views. Even with 10 guests in the house, we didn't feel like we were on top of one another at all. Rick was also a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we needed from a rental van, to a chef and groceries, and excursions. He was very responsive. Neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and safe. We loved it!

Superb villa

Beach Cliff Villa was everything we expected and in a great location. A perfect holiday rental for a group of 10. The villa had everything you needed for a self catering break. Would definitely recommend this property.

Villa Beachcliff

The house was amazing, with beautiful bedrooms each with a private bath, plenty of communal space inside and out, two lovely pools, and easy access to the rocky beach. You can view both the sunrise and sunset from the house. The hosts are very helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to any communications. Don't hesitate to book this villa!

Our visit to Grenada

The property was lovely. Rick was available when we had a few issues - one being the power went out. It was the entire street and it was fixed quickly. Rick kept us posted. Our grandchildren loved the two pools. The outside patios had beautiful views that we all enjoyed. We highly recommend Villa Beachcliff.

Amazing property. Rick and Karen were extremely helpful.

Beautiful home. Rick and Karen arranged our rental cars, provided transportation to and from the airport. They also had provisions we asked for waiting for us and arranged a chef. It was very easy and relaxing. Highly recommend Villa Beachcliff.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Beachcliff. The home is even more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures. Rick and Karen are such great people and they were so helpful with all of our needs during the week. You can't ask for better hosts. I miss Grenada already!

The property was great. Excellent views. A short walk down the street to the southernmost tip of the island was awesome. Rick and Karen were excellent hosts. Met us on day one and walked us through the property. Always quick to respond to questions. Overall just a great stay

Amazing Trip

This house is beautiful and is as advertised! Rick was a wonderful host. He met us at the house for check in and showed us around the property. He was very responsive during the entire booking process and was a huge help with setting up a catamaran charter and private chef at the house. I would recommend this property to everyone! Would love to make another trip in the future.

Thank you, Rick! Our group of eight had a wonderful time at the villa. The location is excellent — you can reach plenty of areas on the island's southern tip in under 20 minutes. Aquanauts Dive Shop was a quick ride, St. George's University Club was walkable for a great meal, and Ram's Supermarket made grocery runs easy. Rick also coordinated a van rental through B Parkey's Car Rental — having transportation is essential, so we recommend renting a car or hiring a driver.The villa was clean with a well-equipped kitchen. We made breakfasts there, had lunches mostly at the Container Park, and explored several spots for dinner. All rooms offered privacy with en-suite bathrooms. Favorite spots were the main-floor lanai and the breezy covered roof area over the southernmost bedroom. The pools were clean and inviting, with plenty of sun and shade options.A few notes for improvement: the water pump needs attention — pressure cut out briefly during nearly every shower. A couple of drains had occasional odors. The beds were universally rated too firm; 2-inch memory foam pads would help. The AC in the lower-level southernmost bedroom struggled to keep up. WiFi was average for the islands. Wear footwear on the lower-level rocks — bare feet won't enjoy them.Overall, great views and great breezes. We'd recommend it!

It would have been beneficial for your stay if you had let me know about the odor from the shower drain. It's and easy fix, and as mentioned during your orientation, I'm only 10 minutes away, and available to answer any questions, or address any issues. As mentioned during the orientation Grenada has been in a drought, and the water supplied to the villa by our water company Nawasa was intermittent. We have plenty of water (up to 35,000 gallons in our cistern), and when the Nawasa water supply is limited we rely on our cistern pump for pressure. Thanks once again. What a home!!!

This house was amazing! 2 pools, 1 was 9 1/2 deep and the other was 3.5-6.5 feet. Beds were all very comfortable. The views of sunset each night were stunning! The owners were also very very helpful with arranging a person for transportation and very easy to work with. They arranged a dinner to be made for us on the night of arrival and that was amazing as well!!! 6 stars out of 5!!!! We will come back!!

Family trip

House was very nice and in a great location. Sunrise over the Atlantic in the morning and sunset over the Caribbean in the evening. Both can be viewed from the lookout. Perfect size for the 8 of us.Rick was very good with all communications. The only issue we had was the hot water did not last long enough for the entire shower. Rick had it worked on a few different times while we were there. Thank you for letting us share your home for our family vacation!

It IS “ The Perfect Island Sanctuary “ - very accurate VRBO description! Especially a perfect place for families or groups. The Villa is large, spread out, quiet, relaxing, peaceful with great views and unique decor. Rick was the perfect host and readily available for all needs and suggestions. He was especially helpful arranging excursions, private chef, and rental car. Everything was so easy. I would definitely recommend sailing/ snorkeling one day and an island tour with Andy (fun and a wealth of knowledge with numerous connections). We loved walking across the street to see the Atlantic cliffs and blow holes and to the end of the street to see where the Atlantic and Caribbean meet - panoramic views!! We also walked to the university club for a great dinner and went to the beach and bars located on the same street as Villa. If you go, you have to get Rick to arrange Chef Kim to come to the house and cook your own private dinner - it was the best of the week (also convenient, and reasonable and so worth it) we wished we would have had him a second time. Book now because we will be sending all our friends and family to experience this wonderful place!

Fantastic! We absolutely loved our stay!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The pictures do not do the property justice. The house is much better in person. We felt right at home in this incredible, beautiful, and clean villa. It has everything we could possibly want and then some. Rick and Karen are such wonderful hosts. They are very welcoming and kind. Rick took our group on an intersting and enjoyable tour of the island. We would recommend staying here to anyone and everyone. We had a such lovely and relaxing stay. Thanks for making our vacation a memorable time.

What a Find! Loved Our Stay!

We couldn’t have known that we would be escaping the bomb cyclone in Colorado, but, good fortune was ours in many ways with our wonderful stay at Villa Beachcliff! Our family of three was immensely comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful, safe, well equipped property with breathtaking views! Everything we needed was within fifteen minutes of this lovely property...airport, grocery store, excellent dining, beautiful beaches, entertainment! Rick and Karen were wonderful hosts and the staff that kept things fresh could not have been nicer. We loved the two pools, private beach and multiple games available around the home. Now, to gather our friends and family and return!

Absolutely Wonderful !!!

Villa Beachcliff is everything you see and read online and more. Our family of 8 was delighted with our stay at Villa Beachcliff. It is like being tucked away in a tropical paradise! The views are fantastic with a constant cooling breeze. The décor and rooms are lovely and every amenity you could want is provided. Karen and Rick were the most delightful hosts we have ever had in the 20 years we have been renting villas. Beachcliff is located on a beautiful, quiet road that was great for taking our morning walks and conveniently located near great restaurants and shopping. And we cant say enough about the friendly people of Grenada... warm, inviting and helpful. It was truly one of our favorite vacations!!

Absolute Paradise

It is hard to write this review because the greedy side of me wants to keep Villa Beachcliff a secret! A group of 9 of us stayed here for a girls trip and never wanted to leave - so much so that several of us even skipped out on excursions and tours just so we could enjoy the beauty of the villa. Rick and Karen were wonderful and welcoming hosts who were extremely helpful in ensuring our stay was perfect from start to finish. This was everyone's first trip to Grenada, and certainly will not be our last. Villa Beachcliff is clean, comfortable, offers UNPARALLELED views of both the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans while offering more than enough space so that no one felt crowded. Rick & Karen: thank you for everything, we simply cannot wait to return!

Mini vaca

Our daughter is a student at SGU & we were moving her home.She was coming from the college & us from NYS. It was conveinent for her, easy for us-airport is close,grocery delivery was right on time as was our airport pickup which both were coordinated with Rick. Our party came in batches of 3 so Rick had 3 rounds of Rum Punch prepared! He gave us a tour of the place & how it all worked. It was just GREAT! We enjoyed the pools,a chef's dinner, beds were comfy cozy & rooms cool for sleeping. It was wonderful - can't wait to go back!! Della L

Wonderful week at Villa Beachcliff

Our extended family of 8 enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Beachcliff. We range in age from 13 to 80 and there was something for everyone. The two pools, private beach and lots of places to curl up with a book, beautiful views and ocean breezes. The villa is located in a wonderful area of Grenada where we could walk/jog and always felt safe. Rick and Karen are great hosts and communication was wonderful. They gave us some great recommendations including lunch at the University Club which is right down the road, the BBC beach which is a truly beautiful spot with lots of shade as well as sun. Breakfast at the West Indies brewery, cocktails at the Umbrella Beach bar. We took an excursion to the 7 sisters waterfalls and hiked down and jumped in the falls which our teenage daughters loved. The list goes on.... Thank you Rick and Karen for having us! We'd love to come back someday!

You don't want to miss this place!

This place is basically a private resort with something for everyone! Rick arranged to have us picked up from the airport and had our rental cars waiting for us at the house. He greeted us at the house to show us around and welcome us with a cocktail! There were nine of us ranging in age from 12-50 there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have privacy when needed. The place itself was beautiful, we spent many mornings on the upper patio having coffee and watching rainbows form in the distance. Rick and Karen were the ultimate hosts arranging for everything we needed from a chef bringing in fresh fish and preparing it for us to cook to a tour of the local sites, a private catamaran tour and even a van to take us to dinner one night. They were always available and friendly when we interacted with them. So glad we got the opportunity to stay here, it's certainly a vacation that will last a lifetime!

Perfect Dream House

This is a perfect and dreamy place to spend a Grenada vacation. It has everything you could ever ask for and is in an ideal setting. The property is immaculate and well stocked with everything that you need for an ideal stay. Rick is a fantastic and gracious host--he was incredibly communicative the entire time and perfectly prepared for pretty much everything. Rick helped take much of the stress out of planning a fairly large family vacation. I would absolutely return here without a second's hesitation. The only thing I would mention in terms of a disclosure, is that the property is not perfectly situated for older folks. My parents, who aren't super mobile, had some difficulty accessing some parts of the property given that there are a lot of stairs. That said, there are a lot of stairs because there is a lot to see and do on this property! This place has my highest recommendation.

A wonderful villa in a beautiful location of Grenada. The detail extraordinary and feels like home.

A very impressive property on all levels. The rooms were spacious, the views are breathtaking from the front and back of villa. Lots of breeze, especially at the front which helped minimise the mosquito bites. It's the very place to relax and unwind. Rick (owner) made us feel very welcome, and was accommodating towards our request and assistance. You may want to consider a vehicle to get around from Lance Aux Epines to St Georges (town) and around the island. Having said that, it's very easy to stay in the villa for days at a time, given the surroundings and comfortable features. I would definitely recommend this place. It's ideal for a group of people (maximum 10), There is enough space for the maximum group but also has the feel of privacy if one wanted to be on their own. I would definitely recommend this place. The images on the Homeaway and Villa Beachcliff websites are exactly what you see and discover in person. A true gem and certainly worth considering when choosing a place to stay.
