Fern Woods was as cute as pictured. We loved our stay in this cozy and clean cabin in the redwoods. The back deck was perfect for morning coffee and tea, and the hot tub was an added bonus that we made use of. I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Beautiful cottage tucked in the redwoods! It was secluded and quiet. The neighbors were friendly and the house was very cozy. I wish they had mentioned more clearly that the cottage has no A/C but the weather was nice so it was no biggie. But I would have been pretty bummed to walk in to a house with no A/C had it been during the summer.

Sweet cabin with lots of cozy touches absolutely surrounded by redwoods. Had a great stay with my 4-year old. Loft was super fun. Deck is delightful and the hot tub was great to unwind in at the end of the day.

Lovely Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: That back deck is wonderful! The gas grill was clean and grilled our steaks perfectly. The kitchen was well appointed, bed was comfortable, shower worked well. It's located in a remote area that takes about 10 minutes of 10 MPH roads and the parking spot is not easy to find, but once we figured out where we needed to park, it was fine. We were challenged by the number of stairs both inside and outside, but we're old.

This was such a beautiful cabin. It was cozy, well-taken care of, the kitchen was fully stocked with all that we needed to make a complete meal, and the extras like the wooden stove, reading nook, and hot tub made this such a relaxing and magical getaway! Check-in was easy, the host was very responsive, and the neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was just we needed -- a cute little rustic getaway in the redwoods! Outdoor deck is expansive with a great big hot tub under the trees. The home was well stocked with the essentials. The neighbors are close but are super nice :-) Highly recommend you checkout Fernwood!

The home was so cozy. It had all the amenities we would ever need from extra blankets and pillows, kitchen appliances/accessories, towels for the jacuzzi, board games, reading material, a goodie basket of snacks for the kids, amongst other very homey touches. It was very private surrounded by redwoods and yet close to Main Street where we shopped and dined. Our family loved our staycation weekend here and look forward to returning in the future.

Hidden gem among the redwood trees

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fern Woods! Our favorite part was the spacious and clean hot tub and deck surrounded by redwood trees, which was so relaxing and an unique experience. The house itself was also very clean.

Amazing getaway

Everything was so wonderful and amazing. Management team even left us a cute little welcome package 💕 So thankful for a little cabin in the woods getaway with our fur babies.

Absolute Gem !!

Loved everything about this property. Wished we had stayed longer, but we will definitely be back! The home is situated under beautiful trees. The hot tub was amazing. The house has everything you need and more. Needed a reset and this place was perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: stayed 2 nites.Pro-Best feature-allows yur pooches. Full Kitchen w/all you need. Bthrm stocked w shamp/cond/bdy wash. Wash/Dryer stocked w laundry deterg. couch comfy. Super quiet and peaceful. Dogs allowed at Monte Rio Beach approx 5min drive. look for the bridge. Management very helpful and responsiveCon-missed lovers ln turn 3x (coming from Rt 1 toward Gureneville), sign hard to see in shade, looks like a driveway. Very narrow posted 10mph speed limit, takes 8-10min to get to house so get yur food/whatevers before you get there. lower parking for house is before the address/steep driveway-tiny little green sign. String lights stay on all the time. i prefer dark at nite to see the stars whilst in the Hottub. Amstrong Rdwds doesnt allow doggos on trails so go to monte rio redwoods for nice hikes. I left a map. No AC so hot nights cook the upstairs main bdrm. Fans provided. A bit dark in the cellar so bring your phone/flashlight to see wash/dry controls a bit better. Not complaining, just stuff to be aware of. Had a great time hiking, weather was perfect temp to hike in the Redwoods. And was warm/sunny if we went to river but didn't get the chance. Overall, a nice relaxing trip. The neighbor is super friendly and had a great time chatting.

Stace’s cabin is so cute and quant but also spacious spread over 3 floors ( a connected garage with laundry!) Great for a weekend getaway nestled in the redwoods where you can gaze at the stars peacefully in the hot tub at night before bed. The cabin is located in a prime location off of a main access road to downtown Guerneville and 30mins from Jenner on the coast. Great space for work and quality rest & relaxation cabin is equipped with strong WiFi and good entertainment. The only thing I would note is that it is also through a rental management company that requires you to sign a 10 page rental agreement (which both protects you and the host.) As long as you respect the towns 9pm noise ordinance and don’t have an out of control gathering/party it shouldn’t be an issue, also includes a very clear and comprehensive check out list that is easy to follow. Will definitely consider renting again in the future :)
