This two bedroom, with ensuite bathrooms is the perfect way to enjoy rural living in a luxury home. It is a home to an amazing space to come back to, after a day of wine tasting and exploring the central coast. The well-appointed kitchen and open floor plan is great for cooking and relaxing. BBQ on the patio while admiring the vineyard! The cozy living room with fireplace, is a great spot to spend time and play games. Steel City Cellars, A family owned and operated vineyard inspired by the work ethic of our founder's father, the intelligence and faith of his mother, and the ethos of the "Steel City" - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our home is the culmination of hard work and a passion for the land we grow on. We grow Cab Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo on our estate. Steel City Cellars was created to bring families together to show them the passion of our Steel City way of life. Please ask about our vineyard and wine experiences. EV Charger available 9:00am - 5:00pm -free of charge. Unavailable outside of these hours. This home is on a working farm and the owner may be onsite, tending to the vineyard. County Permit #6010429

***Dogs are only allowed with an additional $25/night per dog fee. The pet fee is not included in the 'initial quote'. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog(s) during your stay, so we can charge accordingly.***

***Five Star Coffee Program- We start your stay with a supply of coffee, filters, coffee pods, cream, and sugar for our provided drip and pod-style coffee makers onsite at every home.
***Wi-Fi and/or power outages can occur periodically in our small town and rural settings, over which we have no control***There may be wildlife on site, including insects, both inside and outside.***
***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival. On departure, we ask that you take out the trash and begin a load of towels in the laundry, and we require that you not leave any dirty dishes/pots & pans. A fee of up to $200 may be charged for dirty dishes/pots & pans.***

House was very new and situated on a quiet piece of property surrounded by vineyards. It's definitely off the beaten path but not terribly difficult to find. It's about a 30 minute drive to get to the closest grocery store though, so plan accordingly. Unfortunately, we were not able to arrange for a vineyard tour due to the owner being out of town but you do have total freedom to wander around and enjoy the vines personally. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

A great retreat!The house is very light and bright and pleasant. Very clean. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful. Felt like the rolling hills of Tuscany. And the Steel City wine was excellent. My wife and I had beautiful walks on the quiet country roads. We Definitely would recommend!

The place was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay. The two master bedrooms worked out great for the two couples. Staying in the vineyards was a very nice experience. We had a hybrid car and it was nice to be able to charge it at night with the outside plug. We would go back in a heart beat if the opportunity comes up again.

The home itself was beautiful, comfortable and very well stocked. We really enjoyed the quality of the living space and the setting of the Vineyard.That said, I do think future guest should be aware that this is more than just a” working winery/ranch”where the Winemaker may occasionally be out in the vineyards. During our state, the caretakers appeared to live immediately adjacent to the rental connected through the garage area, and they regularly moved through and used the backyard space very close to where guest relax at one point they were weed whacking nearby and another time they sat down for lunch in the backyard while we were outsidePrivacy and seclusion were a big reason we booked this stay, so it was disappointing that the outdoor areas were not private. The on-site caretakers regularly moved through and use the backyard space, and there did not seem to be clear boundaries between guest areas and caretaker areas.I personally don’t wanna rent a house where someone is living 25 feet from me. So I gave this house a rating of a three because there was no privacy and really disappointing response from the host.

We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and quality of this rural property within minutes of downtown Paso Robles! This beautiful, vineyard-based home has a fully locked-off owner's apartment used part-time when essential vineyard supervision is required and is accessed out of view from the guest residence. Vineyard workers go to great lengths to avoid impacting any guest stay, parking and working away from the residence. We've not had this feedback before and are sorry their presence and work intruded on your stay. Thanks, Beth, PasoStay

Birthday Celebration

We had an AMAZING time at Steel City Cellars. The property still looks brand new and had everything we needed. We loved taking walks in the vineyard in the morning and sitting outside by the firepit in the evening. We enjoyed meeting the owner, Frank, and learning about the property and his winemaking. We would definitely stay again on a future trip to Paso Robles.

Beautiful home and location!

Loved this property, both inside and out! Beautiful interior with modern amenities. The two primary suites worked great for our group. The outside space provided a gorgeous view of the vineyard, so peaceful, and comfortable seating with an outdoor fire. Inside fireplace was lovely for chilly evenings. We also took advantage of the grill and fully equipped kitchen for a couple meals. The property was easy to find and check in/check out procedures were smooth. Outdoor lighting made it easy to see when we came home in the evenings. We were 20 minutes from downtown Paso Robles and even closer to Sensorio and many vineyards. We had a lovely time!

Are you kidding me?!

This place was fantastic! The remote area, low to no traffic, and a beautifully built and appointed property- only thing left was the views, and those were great too! Property is tremendously well thought out, outfitted well, property manager was thorough, and if you’re looking for a place outside of the city, and truly a countryside getaway that you’d want from a trip to the wine country- this is it! 15-20 min drive into town, depending on traffic, so all in alll it was excellent!

The location is not THAT far from downtown; we did come prepare with groceries as the kitchen is well-equipped a bbq grill in the backyard. It would be an added bonus if the owner decides to put a jacuzzi in the back! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
