You'll appreciate the details the home owner has put into the property for Vacation renters!
Interior newly Painted & New Furniture purchased all in November 2023.
It's quite the spacious floor plan. Tile floors throughout, Crown moulding, Granite countertops and 2 lanais! Main Living Room Lanai is a Juliet Lanai, so this is only for Viewing. The Master Bedroom Lanai is large enough for Seating & Relaxation onto the incredible grounds!

A really amazing garden view, the condo feels incredibly private when looking out onto the Grounds!

Centrally located with easy access via Walua Rd to Kuakini Hwy and all parts of the west side. Don’t get stuck in the traffic on Ali'i each day if you like to explore widely. This is great basecamp for people who want to adventure widely exploring the best places of Hawaii during the day and then enjoy a short walk or drive to go out to eat or shop in the evening.

5 minute walk to Honl’s beach to relax in the sand, boogie board or watch the Kona sunsets.

8 minute walk to Island Lava Java oceanfront restaurant and many more along Alii Drive in town. No need to drive or park for a night out on the town.

The Fully Equipped kitchen has a Gas Range, EXCELLENT feature for those who love to cook!

The place is in an excellent location, almost close to the central Kona area but just far enough from the noise. There were extra towels, beach gear provided along with laundry pods (this was a bonus to have washer / dryer in unit). It could’ve been better to have some body wash provided too, not just shampoo.

We didn’t use the pool or have direct communication with the property person. Anything that needs to be fix before the next renter, tighten the toilet roll dispenser in the first bathroom as you come in. It would be nice if the coqui’s could tone it down when it gets dark(LOL)Thank you for having such a nice rental.!!

Lovely stay

Kona mansions was a great location, close to town and the beaches. Very walkable to some great sites with a nice nightlife. We were able to do other fun tours and it was just centrally located for hikes and seeing the national park. The condo itself was very comfortable and we used many appliances in the kitchen.

Everything for a great vacation

Stayed here with my family of 5 and one 15 mos. baby and had a great time. The locations is great and enjoyed the ground floor. The condo had all the things we needed for the beach.

Amazing!

This property was perfect for our stay! Air conditioning was very useful. The beach equipment was also very convenient. Washer/dryer… located just a 5 min walk from the heart of town. Loved our stay.

Convenient and Cute

Convenient and close to Kona. Well stocked with linens and cookware and beach extras (cooler, chairs). Really cute ground floor unit. Seems super clean—floors, beds, bathrooms. This would have been a perfect review if the bedroom with the washer and dryer in it did not have such a strong mold smell.

Across from the fish ponds, peaceful

Between 2 and 5 guests at varying times--borrowed a cooler and some masks from the unit. Very comfortable, nice lanai.

The location has no visible signage or lighting. We arrived at night and it was hard to find our way to the unit. The unit was as pictured in the ad except we were notified that the AC was not working and they asked if they could send someone to fix it. We said “yes!”. However No one ever came during our entire stay and they stopped communicating thru texts. Every night of our stay we tried to open the doors or windows to get some air movement, but the croqui frogs were so loud we had to close them to get any sleep. They are a species that have infested Kona and they are prolific at this location. We found dead and live cockroaches in the house and when we went to use the washer, we were met with a terrible smell that front loaders get when they aren’t cleaned properly. Overall, I wish we had picked a different place. On the positive side, Andy who works at the complex was very nice and at least came over to look at the AC when I asked him to. He just confirmed that it was broken and would need a part for repair. He gave me a number to call, but no one ever answered my messages. The view of the back yard was nice.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re truly sorry that your stay did not meet expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Arriving at night can absolutely make it more challenging to navigate, especially in complexes without prominent exterior signage. We understand how frustrating that first impression can be and will review our arrival instructions to see where we can improve clarity for future guests. Regarding the AC, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and for the communication lapse. That is not the level of responsiveness we strive for. The system did require a replacement part, and unfortunately the repair timeline was outside of our immediate control. That said, you absolutely should not have felt left without follow-up, and we take responsibility for that breakdown in communication. We appreciate Andy stepping in to at least assess the situation while the part was pending. As for the coqui frogs, you’re correct — they are present throughout many areas of Kona and are part of the tropical environment here. When windows and doors are open in the evenings, their sound can carry. We understand that for guests unfamiliar with Hawaiʻi’s natural surroundings, this can be surprising. With respect to the pest concern and the washer odor, we take those comments seriously. The home is on a regular professional pest control schedule, but in tropical climates occasional insects can still appear.

Well Appointed Guest House

This place checked many boxes. The two full bathrooms and private lanai made it feel luxurious for our family of 4. The grounds were beautifully maintained with lots of plants and the showers had good water pressure. The kitchen had a very good selection of cookware and dishes. Walking distance to the Kailua-Kona waterfront made it a very convenient base for our adventures. Thanks for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Great space

This is a nice property close to the main walking area by the ocean (slight hill to get to the property). It had many nice extras like games, towels, coolers, ice packs and snorkel gear. There is one lanai and it is off the master bedroom so that is the only place to sit outside. Just something to be aware of if you have two couples traveling together. Overall we had a great experience. The property management company is responsive and easy to work with.
