The rental was absolutely beautiful and the views were breathtaking no matter which floor you were on. Everything was in excellent condition, very clean, and truly felt well cared for.The staff was wonderful from start to finish. They were professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They also gave us great tips on the best routes to take in the area and going up and down the mountain, which made getting around so much easier.The location was perfect. It was less than five minutes from Ober Mountain, and getting downtown was super fast too. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would absolutely recommend this property to others.

Best Views in the Smokies!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It would be hard to argue that this is the best condo facility in the smokies. The unit was extremely clean, provided all the necessities, and the public facilities were 2nd to none! Everything inside the unit is very high end yet very comfortable. The views from both our unit and from the patio deck/pool looked like a post card. The check in and check out process was seamless and getting there was very easy both from downtown or from Pigeon Forge. This was our first stay at the Highlands, but absolutely will not be our last. We look forward to seeing the views from this beautiful destination in the fall.

Great place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very lovely place to stay. We stayed in 202 and the views were great. There was a construction site below that could be seen, however I am sure that will go away at a later date. The place was brand new, beds were comfortable and not those thin pillows. The master bath dual shower heads (Rain/regular) was a nice touch along with the soaking tub. Kitchen had ample items to use for cooking as well. Plenty of towels and the black washclothes worked great so make-up didn't get on the white towels. The sample shampoo/conditioner/dishwasher detergent/laundry worked out well for our stay. This room does have am ajoining room door, which you could hear the neighbors, however the ones there when we were did keep the noise level down before 11pm. The pool area and firepits were nice. We use the hot tub once during our stay. The only downfall to that were tons of kids turing the jets on and off & jumping in it which made it not usable for adults to use. :( Kids should not be allowed in there when the parents don't make them stop and respect everyone else trying to use it. Many people had food and drinks in the pool area which we were told was not allowed. There was a staff member there as well that didn't enforce that rule so you may be able to bring it down there. It didn't bother us (we didn't bring anything down) just pointing out that it is not enforced it. The location was great and again did I say the views were FANTASTIC!! Booking was easy and exiting was as well. The code vs a key to access the place was a bonus. Seem to be enough parking but some spots were a bit tight due to people parking incorrectly which is no fault of the place. The patio was the best part for me to just sit around and enjoy the nature and senic views, plus being private as well. The roads are a bit scary due to the mountian location of the property but it you drive slow you will be okay. Close to Gatlinburg donwtown and Pigeon forge. Would stay again should we ever come back.

Nice but could have been better

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was decorated well and was very clean. But we asked for a view of the city not the pool area. We did have a city view along with a view of a construction site. We could even hear them talking and of course the equipment and beeping every time they backed up. Another big disappointment: the fire place did not work. When we called to report this we were told that they knew. They were waiting on a part. Our visit was the week of November 18th. A fireplace would definitely have been used. So the lack of concern was a big disappointment. After spending one night, we asked to move and we were offered a unit next door. So no better view and closer to the work site. And we would have to move all of our belongings. It was a larger unit and we were cautioned not to use the extra space ( bed or bath ) or it would be an up charge. If anything, I feel like we should have received a discount because there was not a working fireplace. And they knew about it. Before I returned here, I would research other options. We have stayed here in the past and were very satisfied. What a disappointing stay this time. We were treated as more of a nuisance than a guest.

My Amazing View from 202!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is really nice! Clean, new property. I stayed in unit 202. Outstanding view! You can see the Ober Mountain Gondola, Gatlinburg, and the huge mountains. Kitchen is well stocked and Fridge has filtered water and nice clean ice! We did find it odd that there is no dining room table. There is 5 barstools at counter. We missed the table for playing games but made it work. The small balcony is accessible from living room or master. Master suite has a wonderful soft King size bed. So comfy! Master shower has a rain shower as well as normal, but no hand held. There are no wall mounted soaps supplied, they give a small sample size for starting out. The guest room is across the hall from the other bathroom. Guest room has another soft cozy King Bed. There's a washer/dryer in the hallway. The digital entry was convenient. The pool area and lobby are beautiful, as is the exercise room and other public areas. Pool was chilly, hot tub looked nice but we didn't use. Firepit area was nice but we never did go out there. The lobby closes at 5pm so not a place to gather with a group in evenings. We saw bears on the drive up one evening. They were about a mile down the road. Fun to see them from the safety of our car!CONS:The units are not very soundproof from each other which makes for some awkward noises coming from other room at night :/ You can also hear people walking in unit above. It's rather loud. If people were more conscientious of this (and some are) it would not be a problem. We got a pretty loud group in there the last night we were there and they thought it was 2pm and not 2am. There was never a night for us where you didn't hear neighbors in some way or another. The plumbing was really loud too. It sounded like the shower above us was in my room, at 2am. Overall it was doable! I found a way to damper some sound putting a towel over shower drain and closing bathroom door. Had some ants in kitchen, they came and sprayed. Managers are great! I woul
