This beautifully remodeled and furnished 3 bed, 2 bath home with a 2 car garage, heated pool and spa just 300 walking steps from the white sandy beach is the perfect vacation home away from home. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the Mid-Island, it sleeps six.

The brand new kitchen includes 42” wall cabinets and stainless steel appliances.

The master bedroom with en suite bath and walk in closet is fully furnished with a king-size bed and a flat screen TV.
There are two other guest bedrooms; one with a queen bed , the other with a full and a twin bed.

The beautiful furnished living room has a 65 inch flat screen smart TV and an electric fireplace.

The covered lanai features a heated pool and spa with brand new outdoor furniture for your pleasure and relaxation.It provides a great relaxing past time alternative for the whole family!

The House is just a short walk to the beach and restaurants and about 1 mile to Times Square and the new Margaritaville.

The house rents to families and adults over the age of 25, proof of age is required.
The months of January, February, March and April rent for a minimum of four weeks or longer.

Really nice home with quality finishing and furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were larger than the pictures displayed (as was whole house). The pool and patio area was perfect. There were lounge chairs and a wagon to take to beach. Maria was VERY responsive. We would definitely stay again!

The best place to stay! 300 ft from the quiet side of the beach. Clean, spacious house. Pool and hot tub were lifesavers for our kiddos. We have three boys under 11yrs. and it was a perfect place for them. We hosted dinner for family that was staying nearby. Plenty of towels and other amenities.

I was traveling with friends and we thought Maria’s home was great. Communication was very good. The house is clean and exactly as the pictures show. The distance to the beach was down the road and across the street, We loved watching the iguanas walk across the cement ledge outside of the lanai. Pool and spa are excellent. The minor things we noticed were a pocket door to the primary bedroom which made it feel a little less private. There were 3 girls and we all shared one blow dryer. The area is still in heavy construction which was expected. We were able to find enough restaurants for our meals and long walks on the beach. Due to the month we stayed we encountered a problem with No-see-ums. I did not react to them but my 2 friends had a bad reaction to the bug bites. Be prepared to have bug spray to prevent a possible reaction.

Great vacation house

This house has a pool and hot tub all in a screen. There is a canal in the back we fished from. Short walk to the beach and a beach wagon was there for us to use too. The house is exactly as pictured. Hosts were very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend it.

Awesome location and perfect for our family.

We had the beautiful shell filled beach to ourselves everyday. Great walking to everything and very peaceful location. Saw manatees from the pool, great week for us.

We loved our stay at the Canal Home on Shell Mound

My selection of this property was based on the numerous favorable reviews and we were not disappointed. The house is as-advertised: close to the main center of town and a very short walk to the gulf and the beach. There was a perfect amount of space for the six of us, and places for us to dine-in, play cards and lounge around the house. The house was clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Loved the outside pool area with lanai that provided a break from the afternoon sun! Keep your eyes and ears open for dolphins and manatees in the canal! We've made several trips to Fort Myers Beach over the years and are so happy the area is coming back from the devastating hurricanes a few years ago.

Short walk to the beach….

What a great place to spend a month…warm weather, short bike rides to lunch/dinner, beautiful sunsets and a short walk to the beach, where we usually saw dolphins.The owners are fantastic and responsive to any questions/needs! See you next year….

This is an awesome property. Walking distance to the beach. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The host was very friendly and responsive. Only thing I would add is a grill on back patio. The best way to get around FMB is by walking, biking, or E-bikes. Golf cart are good but traffic gets really bad in the afternoons. I highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will get to rent it again soon!

Amazing family time

The house was very comfortable, cleaned close to everything. The kids were very happy with fishing behind the house to swimming in the pool . We will definitely be renting this property next year. We recomend renting a gulf cart

Nice home with everything we needed. The pool was wonderful and it was nice to be able to see the canal while in the pool. María was easy to communicate with and quick to respond.

Beautiful home - Great Host

This home was VERY clean and had everything we needed. The host was very flexible and allowed me to change my check in and out dates based on my flight change. She was quick to respond if we had any questions. The pool and hot tub was a huge hit with my kids. Would not have changed a thing. I highly recommend this home and if we come back to Ft Myers we will be sure to see if this home is available again.

Best vacation in a long while

Had the pleasure of meeting the owner (maria). She is great and the property was just as great. The property was very clean and had everything we needed and more. Amazing Vacation

This property and the location made a fantastic vacation. The owner responded promptly to any questions and the property had everything we needed. The pool, spa and daily walks to the beach were wonderful. Short distance walk to some good restaurants was also a bonus. Enjoyed this property so much I am trying to figure out when we can go again.

Great location and pool!

Great location. Short walk to the beach. Nice neighborhood to walk in. The house was nice. Everything you need for a great vacation. Pool and hot tub were great and easy to operate. Could use hand rails at pool and hot tub to help older people to get in and out of. Other than all beds needed toppers for them, which we purchased to use on them while we were there. We absolutely would stay here again and recommend to others.

Excellent for a family with kids!

We are a family of 5, kids aged 2, 3, and 10. We had a blast!! The pool and spa were perfect and the location of the house was a nice bike ride down to town square. Walking distance to the beach, and the Salt water canal was a nice view. The house itself was clean and and well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! Our kids never wanted to leave!

Nice canal home near Fort Myers beach

The property matches the listing and was great for our 2 week family vacation. The house is a smaller 3-bedroom on the canal with pool and hot tub, and is just a short walk to a relatively quite part of Fort Myers beach! Our family of 5 (3 kids 10yo, 6yo, 2yo) enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The owners and property manager were responsive when contacted, although we did not have any issues that required much contact! The house was stocked with everything we needed, including beach items and bikes. Lastly as a note, if you are traveling with children under 2, we did not see any baby/toddler items (pack-n-play, stroller,etc.), so you will need to bring your own.

Amazing!

This was amazing place to stay so close to everything! We got to see a dolphin in the canal and a manatee. The kids loved the pool. It rained a good part of our trip but with the pool being the way it was we got a ton of use out of it!

Wonderful!

My family and I rented this house for a week stay in Fort Myers Beach and I cannot say enough great things about it! Maria and Ralph were easy to communicate with and thought of everything you need to stay at their property! The screened in pool and spa are amazing and the short 5 minute walk to the private beach was very convenient! I highly recommend this home for your stay in FMB!
