The listing notes proximity to Kalapaki Beach — within walking distance — and one of the island’s most popular resorts, the Royal Sonesta, is just a stone’s throw away. We always encourage guests to research location details before booking, as areas differ across the island. Those seeking a resort-like environment may prefer booking within a resort community. While we had never received similar concerns before, we offered to address the door locks and cleanliness during your stay. You chose to leave, and we supported that decision with a refund minus the first night and cleaning. The locks were repaired after your departure.
