Your dream vacation awaits you at Kawama Yacht Club! A unique gated townhome community located in the heart of Key Largo. The unit has an outstanding view of the salt water lagoon and is close to all the amenities, such as 2 heated pools, a chickee hut, bbq tennis court, playground, unique salt water lagoon filled with beautiful fish (no fishing please) and short walk to the oceanside. The oceanside has wonderful views of the Atlantic, covered seating, firepits and fishing jetty. In close proximity to many local attractions, you will find the townhome to be the best way to visit the Florida Keys.
The unit is fully remodeled with updated with tiled floors throughout, fully stocked kitchen, dining area, comfy living room with covered porches in front and back. The bedrooms are also updated with the Master having a covered lanai with fantastic view of the saltwater lagoon. Seaside decor throughout the home as well as 2 TV's and internet as well. Come and enjoy the beautiful keys in your home away from home!

Great safe family location

Our daughter and family were 2 houses away from us so it was a delight to have the grandsons so close and to take them fishing from the shore and off-shore with an excellent captain and mate to catch 14 yellow tail snappers which we all enjoyed for supper.

Great location in Key Largo

My family had a great time staying at this property. The kids loved the pools, the playground and feeding the fish in the lagoon. We were only minutes away by car from John Pennekamp state park, and enjoyed the activities the state park has to offer. Would definitely come back!

Everything you Need : )

A wonderful place to stay with family and friends. Close to grocery store and restaurants. The kids love watching the fish in the the lagoon and swimming in the pools. Our favorite thing was walking out on the rock pier to watch the sunrise and sunset each day. Just fantastic! Thank you for sharing such a special place.

Great neighborhood

The check in process was a little stressful but host was responsive. The cleanliness of the condo was not the greatest because of things like cobwebs in corners and stuff like that. The condo is beautiful and decorated in a beach theme. We had a great family vacation! Would consider staying in the future.

Nice house but description is not accurate

We stayed over Christmas in the house. The arrival was easy, but the description of the house was not accurate. It was stated that the second bedroom had two twin beds. That was not the case so our teenage sons had to share a queen bed. We had selected the house so they could have their own beds so sharing the bed was a disappointment. Otherwise we enjoyed the house and area.

Wonderful property and friendly owner

We had a wonderful stay (mom and two sons under 12). The property was perfect, a playground, two pools, water access, and a sandy beach area. The condo was stocked with everything we would need. It was nice to have a washer and dryer so we didn't have to pack so much. We didn't get to enjoy grilling out by the water due to the weather but plan to come back and visit. We love the Key Largo area, it was quiet and not very busy which was nice. We are SWFL locals and I can say getting away to Key Largo was a nice break from our busy beaches. The owners were very friendly and answered any questions we had quickly and even offered us to come back due to a few days of bad weather, which was very generous.

Beautiful, quiet and clean. Screen porches were very nice, drinking coffee while looking at the lagoon.

Amazing Host

I want to start by saying this host was awesome. Helpful, answers questions, and very supportive. Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the property. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need. The property grounds has lots for families to do. The property was also easy to get to. A couple of notes that might be helpful. 1. No kayaks with this property, we had a paddle board with us, so all was good but others might want that to note that. 2. Many people in this area live there and do not rent their properties, they were not very thrilled with renters. That did make the stay uncomfortable at times as they were not always kind. (I am sure vacationers all the time can be annoying) 3. Parking is first come first serve. We were able to find parking right by property most of the time. 4. Other minor details: lights would not come on in the second bedroom, there was a new TV just sitting on the ground (this made me nervous as I have boys and we were so nervous about them breaking it), and we could not get the second shower to turn on. (We made the one bathroom work) Overall a good property with great host (and good host is often one of the most important parts)

Key Largo Adventure

Property location is very family oriented, lots of children and teens. There were 3 adults, 1 child in our party, we were comfortable, but anymore adults would have felt cramped. Kitchen was well stocked, a plus for us as we like to eat in most of the time. Our grandson enjoyed swimming with the fish in the lagoon and the pool and playing in the playground We enjoyed being close to the John Pennekamp Park where we enjoyed kayaking thru the mangroves and swimming at the beach. This time of year, there is a lot of sea grass washed up, not being a fan of the smell meant sitting by the water was not an option to watch any sunrises or sunsets. However, the jetty had a nice breeze, so the smell was not as noticeable. The homeowner was very communicative, we ran into a few inconveniences which were shared with her directly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience

Perfect Key Largo Condo

Great place that I’d come back to. Located in a private community. All you could ask for from a host when it comes to amenities. Loved the lagoon and private beach. Arrived on Saturday and you could tell it’s a family atmosphere that also has quite evenings. Would highly recommend.

Would Highly Recommend!

I was very pleased with the location, the sea water lagoon and how well stocked the unit was. Initially, I had difficulty making direct contact with the owner, but once I was able to do that everything went smoothly. We were vacationing for my sons 16th birthday and upon arrival we were extremely surprised to find a birthday balloon, sign, and gift bag of candy to help us celebrate. We were very touched by this extremely thoughtful gesture. We DEFINITELY plan to return. THANK YOU!

Great location, family friendly

We enjoyed our stay so much! Check in was easy, the location was amazing! So much to do for everyone. 2 pools, a lagoon, a beach area. Grilling location next to the giant tiki hut. Amazing fish, birds, and iguanas to look at all over the property. The lagoon & pool were so close, minimal walking distance we could actually see the area from the back area. Great for family and kids. Driving distance to local eats. We will definitely look forward to visiting again.

Felt like home

We had 6 stay (2 were kids 6 & 7). That was capacity. But we were family and got along fine. Kids loved the lagoon right outside the back door. An excellent location for access to all the keyes. Lots to do nearby; Pennecamp, swim with dolphins, snorkel, fish, we did it all. Fish market nearby for fresh seafood. We visited often. Owners were always available when we had questions. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend this to anyone. We will be back!

Our First Key's Trip

This place was amazing!!! Our kids range from 4 to 12 and they absolutely loved everything about the home and the property itself. The location was great and the lagoon provided hours of fun for everyone. We loved hanging out on the lagoons beach, snorkeling in it and seeing the wide array of tropical fish that it had to offer. The area down by the marina and ocean was fantastic to watch the sun rise and set. As far as hospitality, Freddie was amazing to communicate with and we lacked nothing in terms of supplies and accommodations. You can easily tell when rental units are just that, rental units. Then you go here and instantly know how much it truly feels like a well cared for home. We will definitely stay here again!!! 6-STARS!!
