Minnesota Beach House is located on Park Point which is surrounded by the pristine waters of Lake Superior and the St Louis River. These bodies of water are home to kayakers, canoeists, boaters, fisherman, kite surfers, wind surfers, surfers, and swimmers. If you don't participate in these activities you'll surely enjoy their antics on the water! The property has direct access to six miles of sandy beach on Lake Superior where you'll see joggers, walkers, sunbathers, and sand castle builders. Only 0.7 miles from the Minnesota Beach House is the historic Lift Bridge which connects Park Point to the City of Duluth and all it has to offer.

We were so appreciative of this cozy home during our Christmas stay! We had plenty of space & bedrooms for our family. We enjoyed the quick trip to Canal Park and Bentleyville to see the lights. Check in was easy and everything worked perfectly for us! Would live to come back when we can enjoy the beach access!

Good place to stay. Based on the sub-0 weather we didn't venture out, but it was a nice place to hang out in. Stayed relatively warm on the below-zero days we were up there (Just make sure to keep entry way and porch doors closed, as those spaces aren't heated).

When we arrived, it was easy to check in and find everything we needed. Everything was neat and clean and directions for TV, WiFi, etc. were readily available. We loved the location to the beach. This was our favorite part! Along with the beach came lots of sand and dirty clothes-having a laundry room was so helpful and made the stay even more enjoyable. Having outdoor tables and chairs were an added bonus as well! This was an interesting area to explore and walk around. We loved staying at this location and hope to come back again some time!

This was our second time staying at this house and our third time staying with Heather and Steve. It’s a perfect little house with easy access to the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed (except we always bring extra fans). Communication with Heather is a breeze and check in is always easy!

Great location, its a bit of a walk to the beach over a sand dune. The house is wonderful, we had a couple rainy days and ping pong was great entertainment. Awesome to have lots of space. The stairs aren't easy for older folks, but doable. Thankfully we had the main floor bedroom!

Grandma's Marathon Weekend on Point

We stayed in house 3 for Grandma's Marathon weekend and it was perfect! My parents, daughter and my brother & his family all stayed together and we had more than enough room! It was great to be able to all stay together and so close to Canal Park for all of the marathon weekend activities! We stayed in house 1 last year and had such a great experience so we knew we wanted to stay in another of Heather & Steve's places for this year! We have already booked for next year with them and cannot wait! The location couldn't be better and the house had everything we needed! Heather is very responsive if we needed anything.

Needed Break

Plenty of space, everything was immaculately clean and worked correctly.Beds, bedding and towels were of quality and plentiful.WiFi was needed and fast. I accept we were on vacation, but the addition of a SMART tv for access to our tv memberships would have been welcomed.

Lovely Duluth Exploration Base

Great hosts, location, and house.Hosts responded quickly to questions. They provided access and wifi information in advance of the visit. Directions for finding unit were easy to follow.Location was great for walking the beach, or driving to locations around duluth. Quiet neighborhood.The house is great. In early summer the easy to open windows makes it bright and airy.

Great House, Great Location

Adorable, clean, classic home just steps from Lake Superior. Our group was a family of 6 with teens and young adults. Plenty of room to move around, good sleep setup…stellar view of lake from the back deck. Property owners very accessible and approachable. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

Our stay at Minnesota Point Beach House 3 was great despite the frigid weather! The home was very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and so close to Canal Park. We were there for skiing at Lutsen & Spirit Mountain during MLK weekend so the sauna really hit the spot after a day skiing. The host made our first VRBO experience a breeze. We would definitely book this property again.

Clean, great location!

We came as a family to visit Duluth in the fall. The house is beautiful, clean, and so close to the beach! The host was kind and responsive. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Family Get Away

This was our first time at this property. We usually stay at the two bedroom one. We stayed with our two adult daughters and my brother and sister in law. We had so much fun hiking various trails and took a tour of the GlenSheen mansion. Tried out new places to eat and lots of walks on the beach. I finaly got smart and brought my wet suit for swimming, which worked out very well. We will be back!

Steve and I (Heather) have lived in Duluth for the past 25 and 20 years, respectively. We call it home now and have a tough time seeing ourselves living elsewhere. Lake Superior has a draw and we've been mesmerized since moving here. We both love the water and spend a significant amount of our free time walking the beach, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing, canoeing and fishing. We love this area and always look forward to coming home when we've gone on vacation.

Actually the vacation home is Steve's first home. He spent much of his free time repairing/refinishing. It is furnished with antiques handed down in our family that Steve refinished. We were unable to part with it when we moved to our new home less than a mile away so we turned it into a vacation rental home in 2010.

You'll have direct access to the largest freshwater lake in the WORLD (Lake Baikal in Russia is largest by volume, Lake Superior is largest by surface area)!

You are less than one mile away for the farthest inland port in the world.

You are less than one mile away from one of the largest lift bridges in the United States. There you can view Ocean and Great Lake ships from less than 100 feet as they enter and leave the port.

Minnesota Point is surrounded by water and the Aerial Lift Bridge is the only point of access by land. You are essentially on a island!

Steve lived in this house for several years and knows you have great neighbors!

If you want shopping, coffee, antiques they are less than 1 mile down the road over the Aerial Lift Bridge. You can also make the walk on sandy beach.
