DISCLAIMER: You must be 25 years or older to book this property. This property DOES NOT allow groups under 25 years of age, events, parties, photo shoots/production shoots or large gatherings of any kind. This property is located in a quiet residential area and the noise ordinance from 10 PM to 7 AM must be followed. Reservation will be canceled and guests will be asked to find other accommodations if there are noise complaints by the neighbors and/or the Fort Lauderdale Police Department gets dispatch to the property.
Valid ID is required upon arrival and reservation will be canceled if the rules are not followed. Luxury Vacation Stays is the exclusive operator of this property.
Below are compliance statements that the Lauderdale by the Sea requires for all Vacation Rental Properties:
1. It is unlawful to allow for a sexual offender or sexual predator to occupy this residence.
2. Noise - any sound shall not be plainly audible for a period of one (1) minute or longer at a distance of twenty-five (25) feet or more when measured from the source property line between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. daily and at a distance of fifty (50) feet or more when measured from the source property line between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily.
3. Vehicle Parking - all vehicles associated with the Vacation Rental must be parked in compliance with Chapter 26 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Lauderdale: all vehicles associated with the vacation rental must be parked within a driveway located on the subject property; vehicles are not permitted to park in the swale or on the street.
4. Trash Pick-Up - No solid waste container shall be located at the curb for pickup before 6:00 p.m. of the day prior to pick up, and solid waste container must be removed before midnight of the day of pickup. The Property must be free of garbage and litter except the storage of garbage, and litter in authorized receptacles.

The initial walk-through for property management was incredibly lengthy, it took over 30 minutes to go through the house and rules. I have never stayed at a home that requested such a time-consuming check-in. I do not think that the management company takes into thought that we are on vacation and this is taking time out of our day. The house overall was very nice, the first floor was very well kept and clean, however the master bathroom floor had footprints on the floor when we arrived, you could see on top of the black marble. There were ants infesting the master bath tub, and around the sinks. The pool area was somewhat messy, there was debris in the pool and on the tile, especially in the hot tub. The lawn chairs were not in good condition, a handful of them were ripped. The color of the pool is not the same as listed in photos, it’s very dark like the canal water. The bedroom that has the bunk beds had a wall AC unit that did not cool properly and leaked our entire stay. From the start of the day between Thursday morning and Sunday morning at checkout I received 41 TEXT MESSAGES!! The entire stay I was in constant communication with management, which I particularly did not want to be, there are multiple issues in the home that had to be addressed throughout our stay. It was an absolute nuisance.

Thank you for your feedback. While we appreciate your perspective, we would like to clarify several important points.
We accommodated your request for a complimentary early check-in, even though our standard policy is a 4 PM arrival. The walk-through is designed to familiarize guests with the home and ensure a seamless stay by demonstrating how to properly operate the many amenities on the property. Unfortunately, your group showed little interest during this process, which directly contributed to the repeated issues you experienced—all of which were the result of user error.
We responded immediately to your report of the A/C not working, only to confirm that it was functioning correctly and the problem was due to improper use. The following day, we addressed your report of a clogged toilet, only to discover that one of your guests had flushed a washcloth into the system—an action well outside of normal use and the direct cause of the issue.
Throughout your stay, our team remained available and highly responsive, which accounts for the volume of communication you referenced. We take pride in addressing concerns promptly and effectively, even when they arise from guest misuse. Unfortunately, your group demonstrated a consistent lack of respect for both the property and our staff.
We sincerely hope that future hosts do not have to experience the level of rudeness and disregard for house rules that was displayed during your stay.
