Our Villa is located in the heart of a private domain in Valbonne, in the middle of a pine wood, on a top of a hill overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Big heated pool coming along with its pool house fully equipped with kitchen and bbq. Wide outdoors with beautiful garden, playground for kids, playground for Pétanque, covered dinning area and 3 parking places. This a peaceful place to relax in family and very close of all the attractions of the French Riviera.

Luxury and paradise

We held a 10 day family reunion for 8 people at the house in May, and we could have had more people stay. We didn’t even use two bedrooms. There were plenty of lounges/armchairs, dining areas, sun lounges and space for everyone to use. The table tennis table was a great feature used by all. We had a power outage on the first night but Lionel was great and arranged an electrician on site first thing that morning. Please be aware that there are a lot of stairs (stairs down to lounge/kitchen/dining/laundry, up to bedrooms and down to pool and pool house). They did helped us work off all the delicious fromage, jambon and baguettes we ate. You will also require a hire car, as the closest shops and bus stop are a 2 km walk from the house. Would stay here for a relaxing fun filled holiday again. Lots of great memories were made.

Beautiful Villa

We had a very enjoyable stay at the villa. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, big swimming pool and gorgeous view. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the South of France.

Great villa in a fantastic location

Our family (kids aged 13, 19, and 21 years old) stayed in the villa for two weeks and didn't want to leave! The villa is very nice and the garden and pool is absolutely beautiful - with a magnificent view. It is located in a secured area where there is easy access to a supermarket (Carrefour), bakery, pharmacy (5 mins drive) and the cities of Biot (10 mins), Valbonne (10 mins), Antibes (20 mins), Cannes (25 mins) and Nice (35 mins) making it a great spot for exploring the French Riviera - even though it's a difficult decision to leave the villa. If you get annoyed by strange electrical installations and old tv and sound systems this place is not for you. Otherwise it's the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. We would not hesitate to come back.

Magnifique séjour dans la villa

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans cette sublime villa située en plein cœur de Valbonne! Très bon accueil réservé par Lionel le sympathique manager villa, qui a su se rendre disponible et répondre à toutes nos interrogations aussi bien avant que pendant notre séjour. Les plus de la maison: - chaque chambre dispose de sa salle d’eau et de ses propres toilettes - somptueuse piscine et jardin arboré parfaitement entretenu avec vue sur la mer - cuisine intérieure et extérieure tres bien équipées - domaine résidentiel ultra sécurisé mais qui reste quand même facile d’accès - literie d’excellente qualité Nous recommandons fortement cette maison et espérons y séjourner de nouveau pour des prochaines vacances!

We had a great vacation at this villa.

We stayed at this amazing villa for 10 days - and had a very nice vacation. We were 3 familys staying here - and the house was spaceous and well equipted. We loved the house, the pool/poolhouse and the garden! We got very good information before our stay and during our stay from Lionel - Riviera Prime. We would love to come back some day, and would really recommend this house.

Lovely House and a Beautiful Garden

The interior of this house is in excellent decorative order and the main living room which has luxurious seating has been individualised by original oil paintings of the Cote D'Azur by local artists. It looks out onto a beautiful garden and a large swimming pool with a view over a forested valley to the Mediterranean a few kilometres away. The kitchen has modern cooking equipment and utensils and the 5 bedrooms are well appointed with ensuite bedrooms. The Property Manager, Lionel, was always at hand to assist and he visited us several times to check that everything was going smoothly. The French Housekeeper, Ruth, was friendly and helpful and came regularly to ensure that the house was kept in pristine condition. The nearest village is Valbonne some 8 kilometres away. It is a pleasant 17th/18th century village with a fine square and with many excellent restaurants and shops. There is a market once a week on a Saturday where local produce is on sale. We explored the area by making use of the excellent bus services and managed to find time to visit the nearby mediaeval village of Biot, the "perfume town" of Grasse and we also had a trip to Nice. As the weather was hot and sunny we often preferred to stay and relax in the magnificent garden beside the swimming pool. Our three grandchildren(11,9 and 7) visited and found it enjoyable. They played boule in one special corner of the garden and table tennis under a shaded roof next to the house. The overall impression is as if this house was in Hollywood, USA and we have no hesitation in awarding it five stars and recommending it to others. Isobel and Alastair Robertson.

Great house, great location, great stay!

My family and I spend our summers in France and we have tried many properties along the coast - with mixed results. Having said that, I am pleased to say that this house stands heads and shoulders above the rest. If you are looking for some peace and tranquility with your partner or family - this is the place to be. The house itself is Provencale in its look and feel, yet also really modern and well-furnished inside. Fantastic kitchen with cooking island and three fridges (!), including one for wine. Bedrooms and bathrooms (including a master bedroom with a steam room) were as nice as any hotel we have stayed in - tastefully decorated and well fitted. Our daughter loved the mezzanine room with the spiral staircase. In the garden, a lovely good-sized heated pool awaits you. Amazing unobstructed views over the hills all the way to the Med! Table-tennis, badminton, boules court, table football all there to keep the kids busy. Great pool-house with full kitchen facilities, BBQ and even a shower and changing room in the basement. Best of all is the beautiful garden full of flowers, lemon trees, and giant palms. I could go on and on! For those picky ones among you, the light switches in the living room were a tad bit complicated, but I figured it out with the help of my wife. Lionel, the manager, was very friendly and the house manual really helpful. Valbonne and Biot were only 5 mins away by car - or a nice walk. Very convenient having a Carrefour and patisserie at the roundabout next to the entrance to the estate. This house definitely deserves its 5 star rating...we would give more if we could! Highly recommended. We'd be happy to return next year!

Great house, great hosts, great stay!

My family and I have rented a dozen properties in France over the years and we have a good basis for comparison. I would thoroughly recommend this house to other families. My wife and daughter loved it. The house itself is provencale and typical of the region, but really modern and well-furnished inside. Fantastic kitchen with cooking island and three fridges, including one for those superb local wines! Bedrooms and bathrooms (the master even has scented steam room) were as nice as any hotel we have stayed in. Our daughter loved the mezzanine room with the spiral staircase. Walk down to the garden and you'll find a lovely heated pool. Amazing open views over the hills all the way to the Med...no other buildings in sight! Table-tennis, badminton, boules court, table football. Great pool-house with full kitchen facilities, BBQ and even a shower and changing room in the basement. Best of all is the beautiful garden full of flowers, lemon trees, and giant palms. I could go on! If I was being hyper-critical, light switches in the living room were a little complicated but we soon worked them out. Lionel, the manager, was very friendly and the house manual really helpful. Valbonne and Biot were only 5 mins away by car. Very convenient having a Carrefour and patisserie at the roundabout next to the entrance to the estate. This house definitely deserves its 5 star rating! I'd give them more if I could.

Beautiful villa with stunning views of the Med.

We had a fantastic holiday. The house was spacious, clean and very well appointed with everything a family could need. The pool house was perfect for BBQs, with plenty of seating and a separate kitchen. We enjoyed visiting the nearby villages of Valbonne and Biot and walks along river as well as exploring the bigger Riviera towns of Antibes, Nice and Monaco. We had such a fantastic time we have already booked again for 2016 and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Wonderful property with great views!

We really enjoyed staying in this house, in fact it is one of the best we have rented. Very nice furnishings and everything was clean and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable (which wasn't the case in the place we rented last year in SW France). But the highlight was the garden which was quite spectacular (better than in the photos) and the views over the forest all the way to the sea are to die for! Quite a large heated pool and much better than some of the other houses we have stayed in. The property manager (Lionel) was very professional and always responded quickly when we had questions about the house or local amenities. This is an ideal house for families with children and we would certainly recommend this place to our friends.

Fantastic Summer House & Great Location!!!

We enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in this very quaint and perfectly maintained summer house. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and seem brand new. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a wonderful BBQ in the outside cabana. The location could not be better to enjoy Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Grasse, Valbonne, Monaco, St. Tropez, Eze, etc... All destinations were no more than 1 hour away. The main Cote d'Azur Highway is just 10min away and take you east-west. The property Manager and maid service we one of the best we have encountered. All of this means we recommend this property highly and look forward to being able to come back again for another 2 week stay.

I WOULD NEVER RENT THIS VILLA AGAIN OR RECOMMEND I

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for two weeks. We have been coming to the area for years and this is the one of several homes we have rented. We have friends who own homes in the area and know neighbors as well. We own several homes and are also landlords. We have never had any problems until now.The home is managed by a company called Riviera Prime. Since their agent lives over an hour away, he sends a non-English speaking housekeeper (even though their website claims to be "English speaking") to take care of problems. The agent apparently cannot be bothered to show up and proved to be incompetent, irresponsible and condescending. We only saw him twice; when we arrived and when we departed. Upon our arrival at the villa, the agent immediately presented us with a 16 page inventory list to sign. Aside from a cursory tour of the home, we were not given the opportunity to review the list in detail. When we expressed concern about it and asked if it was current, this we were told “yes it is current” and to not to worry about it as it was just a “formality”. It was then that we noticed some obvious stains on the dining area carpet, looked at the list and noticed it had been rated in “perfect” condition. It was definitely not "perfect" and we asked him to note that on the inventory list, which he did reluctantly. His credibility with us started to deteriorate at that point. Do not sign this list! Even when I made the agent make a notation on the inventory list that there were stains on the rug, he still made an attempt to blame us for the stains during the exit inspection and threatened to deduct money from our security deposit for replacement or cleaning of the rug. Also, during our initial tour we asked several important questions about the house for which the agent had either an incomplete answer or no knowledge at all. For example, he did not know where the master switch was located to reset the breaker in case of an outage or other emergency situation. This happens frequently and suddenly in this area when it rains. We also asked if there was some sort of instruction manual for the house along with emergency numbers. He responded with a shrug. At that point we knew he did not know the house very well. In addition we noticed that the house was not clean. There was thick dust everywhere and the floors had not been well vacuumed. Still waste from last renters. No backup keys for safes. I could go on and on but out of room.
