Hollywood actor's home- amazing location, spacious villa , magnificent gardens

Comfortable villa with large swimming pool 12 m x 6 m, with removable security barrier and alarm. Extensive terrace offering views of the surrounding countryside and coastline, with large gas barbecue for outdoor dining, Beautifully landscaped gardens with fruit and olive trees. Ample parking. Light and spacious rooms. Well equipped kitchen with two fridge-freezers and all the usual appliances for large groups of up to 12 people. Flat screen TV, with two satellites so numerous channels including BBC, fast broadband internet access, iPhone speaker dock.
An English speaking guardian/caretaker lives In a separate apartment on the property on the opposite side to the villa, pool and garden. She is usually on hand to answer any questions, if needed. Villa Gezanne was designed and built for Hollywood actor Charles Korvin (of Zorro fame among others). The name of the villa, chosen by Charles Korvin, is a combination of his real name, Geza, and his beloved wife Anne.

We had a wonderful stay in the holiday home. The house was in very good condition and very clean. The pool and garden were beautiful and we felt completely at ease. The communication with the host was also excellent. We would love to come back again, thank you very much

Vacances de rêve à Biot

Nous venons de passer une superbe semaine de vacances (7 adultes et 4 enfants âgés de 2 à 6 ans) à la magnifique villa Gezanne. Le lieu est vraiment idéal pour environ 12 personnes avec 5 chambres et chacune avec sa salle de bain et ses toilettes. Un séjour très spacieux et lumineux, coin repas avec une grande table ronde, plus une cuisine lumineuse très bien équipée. Pour couronner tout cela une grande terrasse (2 tables pour manger "coin salon") donnant sur le jardin et la piscine avec barbecue et store ainsi qu'une très belle vue sur la mer et les alentours (sans vis-à-vis de voisins). Une grande piscine avec protection autour et alarme et un très beau jardin à plusieurs niveaux permettant de courir et faire des jeux avec les enfants.Ensemble très fonctionnel permettant de passer des vacances de rêve, surtout que la gentillesse, la disponibilité, la réactivité de Clare et de Laurie est sans égal. Mille merci pour votre accueil si chaleureux, vous nous avez permis de passer des vacances inoubliables! Nous envisageons déjà de revenir.Famille Leivo

Absolutely perfect for our family reunion

We had an absolute wonderful time at Villa Gezanne for our family reunion of 6 couples. The house and outdoors are breathtaking and very suited for large groups. We cooked, played table tennis, board games on the terrasse, and never felt crowded. On top of everything, the house has a lot of charm and character and the views ... wow! Clare was a pleasure to deal with and always responded to our questions very quickly. I wish we could do it again soon. Muriel

Great villa

Just back in Ireland after 9 wonderful days in this lovely villa.It is quirky and nicely decorated with lots of interesting pieces.We found it very comfortable and loved the upper terrace with the awning where you could look out to the sea on one side and over the hills on the other and also the beautiful gardens.The air con in the bedrooms was great to escape the heat.The villa was spotless and the area was really quiet when we were there.We met all the lovely ladies Marian,Laurie and Claire who made us feel very welcome and had time to chat to us and answer our questions about the area etc.Very convenient for day trips that we did to Monaco, Cannes and Antibes. We felt very relaxed and welcome here and would highly recommend it.

An excellent villa for 9 family members. The layout works very well for eating, pool use and being independent within the villa. The location is good with an amazing view from the front. The gardens were large and done to a high standard. A 15 minute walk from a group of shops including a nice boulangerie and patisserie where you can sit and enjoy coffee and nice pastries. Good supermarket there too. Lots of great places to go and visit from the villa all within driving range. Biot is near and a fantastic place to visit. We went a few times. Good communication with Clare who would sort any questions out promptly and Marian next door , a lovely person who was always happy to help .

Biot Villa Gezanne French Countryside

Lovely villa with great layout and beautiful grounds and wonderful views Morning breakfast and cocktails hosted on upper terrace patio (with great retractable covered awning) overlooking the pool and views. Kitchen was well stocked and easily to work in. Five bedrooms and baths gave us multiple locations to choose from for sleeping. Owner was wonderful, very accommodating and really lovely to interact with. She helped to make our stay extremely nice. Loved it!

Amazing spacious villa

Our family and friends stayed here to be close to Nice for the Rugby World Cup. It was our third option of places to stay and it will always be our first for the Côte d’Azur region! The initial one didn’t have enough parking spaces, the second was a bogus post and thankfully VRBO caught it, and then we found this gorgeous home in Biot. We’ve rented many places throughout Italy and France and this one is the tops! This is a five star plus place!!! There are at least 3 master en-suite bedrooms/baths. The extra den room is perfect for children. The other guest room is gorgeous and bright. Four out of the five bedrooms face the pool and views, one is upstairs. There is even an extra shower downstairs. This is the best equipped villa, everything you need is provided. You have HOT water, a luxury in rentals. The pool is amazing, it gets deep fast and perfect for swimmers. They have an excellent fence and alarm available should there be non swimmers in the group. The grounds are impeccably kept, great gardeners. The hosts are amazing and very friendly. We enjoyed meeting Marion and Clare who watch over the rentals. Laurie the gal maintaining the pool and flowers was lovely, I will miss our conversations together. I felt as if we have a family to return to in Biot…we cannot wait to return!!!

Wonderful villa

We had a wonderful week. The villa location is perfect and within a short drive to all the amazing attractions the area has to offer. Mountains, gorges, lakes, beaches and beautiful towns and villages. The villa is equipped with everything you could need with gorgeous large rooms and wonderful views from the stunning gardens. Loved watching the storms from the terrace the night we arrived.

Heaven in the hills

The Villa Gezanne is truly heaven in the hills. How can you top waking up every morning to the sweet fresh air that pours into the house when you open the French doors to the terrace and catch the view to the left of the verdant mountainsides and to the right, the Mediterranean Sea! It’s just perfect. Close to the bakery for fresh croissant and pastries, close to the supermarket for supplies and the tastiest strawberries, close to several towns…Valbonne and Biot for dinners and market days. It is an ideal location . Trips to Nice, lunch on the beach at Cannes, Shopping in Antibes….all are within an hour ride. Equally close are Mougins, St. Paul de Vence, and other places of interest in and around the coast. The house is wonderful for lounging and enjoyment. The pool is spectacular and the fact that each bedroom has its own private bath makes it ideal for enjoying the time with friends and family. It is even better than the description. And, to top it all off there are no better, kinder, warmer , more helpful than Briane and her amazing mother Marian. My husband and I had a bad fall while in Nice before coming to the Villa and Briane and Marian took us under their wing until family came the next day. We will be grateful to them for their kindness forever! If you have the opportunity, stay at Villa Gezanne. It’s truly heaven in the hills.

Family vacation

My family and I had a great time staying here. The property and the pool provided plenty of space for 8 of us plus a baby. Briane was very communicative both before our holiday and during and even sent back to us items we left behind. Would highly recommend this villa to others and would definitely go back.

Magical Gezzane

Absolutely wonderful stay at this magnificent villa. The home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We were a group of 5 adults and the place felt so spacious! The grounds and pool were beautiful. Morning coffee on the terrace, watching the sunrise. Afternoon pool time with a glass of lovely French wine. Evenings on the terrace enjoying dinner and the beautiful lighting and peace of the property. I would highly recommend this property. All communications were prompt and informative. A true pleasure to have had the opportunity to stay here. Gezanne is a truly magical place.

Holiday in style

10/10. Villa Gezanne is such a very unique place, we all loved the atmosphere of this authentic villa. We were a group of 8 (4 couples) and had all the space we needed. The swimming pool is huge and the garden is beautifully landscaped to give you this extra luxurious holiday feeling.. We spent every evening dinner at the house -because of the homely vibe- and enjoyed the terrace upstairs. (Little remark: The kitchen is fully equiped but sometimes we missed a few larger pots to cook dinner for big groups!) Biot is very well located to visit other villages (Valbonne, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Grasse, Mougins,..) & is also close to the sea: On Fridays we rented a boat in Antibes and had a great day at sea. We were warmly welcomed by the charming 'lady of the house' Marian, she lives next door & is always available for all questions. Communication with her daughter Briane, prior to our journey, was also very nice. Grateful for this relaxing week! Grace & Lovely ;-)

Alt har været godt. Vi har været mange mennesker samlet, men der har været plads nok til alle. Gode værelser med badeværelser til hvert værelse. Stedet er skønt, smuk have og der er rent og pænt.

Fantastic house in Biot, close til Nice/Antibes

We were blown away over this house. It has the charming french style, the rooms are big and there are more bathrooms than bedrooms. Big livingarea inside, large kitchen and a fantastic terrace with view to the Cote de Azur and the montains. From 3 bedrooms direct access to the large swimmingpool and the beautiful garden. So sweet people to rent from (living next door, but you dont even notice). Only 12-15 minutes drive to the ocean. Supermarket, baker and restaurant only 1 km away from the house. The town Biot nearby, with charming streets and great dining. The best house we have ever rented!

Superbe endroit

Maison superbe encore plus que sur les photos. Propreté irréprochable. Tout est bien pensé et très bien équipé. Les chambres sont très grandes avec chacune leur salle de bain. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et la piscine très grande. Brianne est très sympathique et toujours disponible. Je recommande vivement cette location. David

Perfect stay

We were a group with two older teens and three adults, and all thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Gezanne. The house is lovely with plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and well equipped, particularly in the kitchen. Lots of charm throughout the property, beautiful gardens and lovely views of the hills and the sea. We particularly enjoyed the large terrace and sitting in the shade of the magnolia tree next to the pool. The bedrooms are spacious and with good AC, and the mattresses very comfortable . Our welcome was wonderful, and our host was on hand in the house next door, if we needed assistance with anything. There is a good supermarket 3 minutes away in the car, next to a boulangerie and pharmacy, and the coast is around 20-25 minutes away. All made for a relaxing and very easy stay. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Marian and Briane!

We are an Australian family who have enjoyed, for some years, wonderful holidays with family and friends as tenants at Villa Gezanne.

Gezanne came up for sale and we were fortunate to become the new owners. Much to our delight, the previous owners - Marian and her daughter Briane, who had welcomed us so warmly to the property for many years, agreed to continue to greet guests to Gezanne and look after the property. Their local knowledge, kindness and enthusiasm has been wonderful for us and other guests over the years. Marian and Briane live on site in a separate part of the property in the guardian’s flat. We were drawn to Gezanne because of the house's character, spacious garden, history , sizeable pool, pleasant views and its great location - in a quiet secluded area but just a not far from the beach, the village of Biot and Antibes. Gezanne is a great base to explore the Riviera and the Alpes Maritimes and each year we find more and more interesting places to see and things to do.”

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The rooms are very spacious and light. The house has a welcoming feel to it. The pool is larger than normal for a private villa plus can been heated on request . The garden is large and secluded, with terraces of Olives , Citrus fruits which look stunning when light up at night. The surrounding area is quiet.
