Clean Cozy Cottage, great location, walk to the beach!

This cozy three bedroom cottage located in the beautiful Town Neck area of Sandwich, within walking distance to Town Neck beach, boardwalk, Sandwich marina and Cape Cod canal. Short drive to historic center of Sandwich with many shops and restaurants to enjoy.
One Queen bed, two twin beds, and a sleeper couch to accommodate a maximum of 6 people. Cable TV, free WiFi, washer/dryer inside the cottage. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dinnerware. Each bedroom has AC units so you can be comfortable inside after hot day at the beach. Private backyard with picnic table and gas grill.The cottage is super clean and has everything you need for a nice stay.
Neighborhood is quiet and friendly, the beach is only 0.3 miles away. The owners live 5 miles away and easy accessible to help you enjoy your stay to the fullest.

P.S. Quests are responsible for linens and towels. Blankets and pillows are provided.

Love a nice Sandwich

The cottage was as we expected- an old Cape cottage, well kept up, small kitchen and bedrooms. Nice yard, but not fully fenced for the dog, and BUNNIES everywhere! We enjoyed the front room with TV. We didnt walk to the beach, half mile, but you could. Restaurants nearby are very good, and The Local has a pool table and cornhole.Dont miss the Glass museum, and Heritage Garden w antique cars.

Great lil spot

It was very nice,it was a 5 min drive to 3 diff beaches n same distance to stop n shop n main road,it was nice it's all one level due to me being handicap n partially blind n deaf

What fun!

Cute cottage very near the ocean. You can walk there. Nice with a/c during hot summers. We used the back porch all week! We had a cookout and sat at the picnic table with the umbrella. This is our 3rd year of renting! We love it!

Returning Customer

We’ve visited this location before, which already says a lot about how much we enjoy it. Two years ago, the beach was mostly rocky due to storm damage, but the town has done a great job restoring it—bringing in plenty of sand and improving the overall experience. This time, the boardwalk was also open, which added to the fun.Our favorite spot was the waterway next to the boardwalk, perfect for enjoying the water and catching (but not keeping) crabs and clams. The place itself is cozy with a relaxing vibe. Just a heads-up: the common areas like the porch and TV room don’t have AC, but the bedrooms do. If you want to cool down the rooms, just close the windows and keep the interior doors open to let the AC circulate.The yard is well-maintained and great for BBQs, complete with a picnic table. There's a grill available, and the grilling tools are conveniently hanging in the kitchen. We did run into a minor issue with the showerhead, but the host had it fixed within two hours—very responsive and helpful.There’s plenty to do nearby, including mini-golf, a fish hatchery, water parks, scenic walking paths, and more—fun for both kids and adults. One personal highlight was a trip on the Helen H Charter, where I caught a 45-inch striped bass with my 9-year-old. A great memory!

Clean and near beach

We have rented with Tatiana and Jeff for 3 years. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived. A/C kept us cool in the hot weather. We cooked in. It was very convenient. The grocery store less than 5 miles away. Nice and close walk to beach. Lots of cute outdoor restaurants nearby.

Overall, it was good.

The location was really good. There is everything you need in 5 mins driving. There are beaches, beach walks, fish markets, stop and shop and the visiting center. The property was well equipped with all the utensils and cooking pots. I could not meet the owner until the last day of our visit, however, she was always easy to contact and easy to deal with on the phone.

An old time gem

Arrivable went smoothly. The cottage was as described and was perfectly clean. The cottage has been refreshed through out. Everything worked. It had a lovely back porch and yard for our small shih tzu's. The front porch where the tv is was so nice with all the windows and the nice breeze in the evening. I wish the shower was bigger but there isn't room. I wish the mattress was more to my liking. They were very new, I just prefer a firmer mattress which I found in one of the other bedrooms. It was a few blocks to the ocean. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe. We had a couple of small problems and the host was right on top of it so we were not inconvenienced. They were a very nice younger couple that worked hard to ensure all was perfect for our month long stay. They achieved that with us. Would definitely stay again, if we return to this area.

The feel of the cape

A traditional Cape Cod cottage! The cottage was very clean, don't even think I saw any bugs, not even a spider. Host were very kind and open if there were any issues, however we didnt experience any. The beach was a 10 minute walk, however we waited till 4pm and drove down, as parking was free then. Lot of local shops, including groceries and even a general dollar store. Sandwich, being one of the first towns in Massachusetts, you get to experience a lot history, including museums. If you have kids, lot of cheap or free activities, such as the local fishery where you can feed trout. There is a small aquarium near by too. There is several local fishing spots you can walk to within 20 minutes, with a bait shop 10 minutes away (driving). You can also do charters, personally did Helen H, a 30 minute drive. The beach was rocky, however I was advised this was due to a storm and hopefully will be repaired. On the plus side, my kids had a great time flipping the rocks to find crabs. There is a lot of scenic walking places, including a walkway next to the canal to see the large boats coming and going. When we didnt make our meals, experienced several local restaurants and had all great experience. We also had a simple evening and order Domino's for delivery.

Lovely little place

The house is older, especially compared to some of the other houses in the neighborhood. The owners have made a real effort to make the place comfy and nice. The location is amazing...two blocks stroll to a beach! The price is a GREAT value.

Great stay

Our family had never been to Cape Cod before our stay. We enjoyed the property, while a bit outdated it was extremely clean. The location was close to the beach and a great jumping off point for the rest of the cape.

Town neck cottage

Very convenient to restaurants, stores, beaches, and the highway. Very much satisfied with everything. Host was very accommodating and communication with them was always prompt. Recommend and will be back.

Clean and affordable in a great location.

The property is very basic, but within a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk, which was a priority. Small for a family with adult children, but fortunately we had an active week outdoors.

Great location and neighborhood

The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The owners are super responsive and friendly. Having a grill in the backyard was very helpful to cook quick meals in the evenings. Being in such a close proximity to the Cape Cod Canal was really a nice bonus too. We biked along it and it was breathtaking. Had a great week at the Cape!

Great location for beach!

Wonderful location! House is a bit old, but clean and very comfortable! Near beach and grocery store. A/C kept us cool and comfortable. We will look to rent again next year!

Cozy Cape Cottage

We had a great time! Jeffrey and Tatiana were very helpful and responsive. We had three adults and two children and there was plenty of space. The beds were comfy. We cooked at home almost every night because of the kids and found all the utensils we needed and a good grill. We walked/rode bikes to the beach and it was only a few minutes. The neighbors we encountered were all quite friendly. There’s a picnic table with an umbrella and also a covered deck to relax in the backyard. We had brought chairs so we used those for the deck. Good ice cream and restaurants near by. We had read the reviews ahead of time that the air conditioning was in the bedrooms so we brought a box fan and the house was kept nice and cool with no problems. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, super cute beach town!

This is a great value for a week on Cape Cod! Pros - this house is amazingly clean! Well-taken care of. Great location. Had most everything we needed. The owners are very very responsive! Cons - this isn't really a con, but would have been something that I would have wanted to know. The beds are listed as two twins, 1 queen, and 1 pullout full. The queen is actually a full. To echo the other reviewer, the only way to keep the house cool is to leave all the doors open and run the window units. Overall, a good value!

Nice relaxing vacation

Property was nice and clean in a small community near beach and the Cape cod canal. Many activities , shopping, and restaurants nearby. Beds where comfortable. No issues. Owner very responsive to any questions. Great stay!
