Alhambra del Mar is a quiet, luxury ground floor apartment of 110m2 in one of the most exclusive fenced communities of Marbella. You can walk to Playa de Nagüeles in three minutes without crossing busy streets, it offers fun for all ages and has countless (inter)national restaurants and cafes. Alhambra del Mar is only 15 minutes walking (or jogging or bicycling) from the old town "Casco Antigues" of Marbella. The kitchen is simple but has all appliances; a Nespresso-espresso machine, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. A large dining / living room with WiFi, air conditioning, opens onto the large terrace wit small private garden. Nice apartment in excellent location

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is spacious and has been kept in good condition. It is well equipped and has all the necessities for a family stay. The location is excellent with supermarkets and few minutes walk to several restaurants. I would recommend staying in this apartment.

Gorgeous, great location, comfortable

We were lucky enough to spend 3 nights here earlier this week. The property is gorgeous, inside and out. It was very clean and well-stocked with anything we could need. The beach was just a 5 minute walk away, there are restaurants and shops within just minutes of the apartment. It was a lovely stay, one I would easily book again.

Excellent choice for Golden Mile.

Paul the owner was very helpful and informative. Communication Throughout our month stay was excellent. The apartment is cosy, well equipped with excellent TV and WIFI. Kitchen and utility was also well equipped. Location was perfect. Nestled in wonderful tropical gardens and ponds. Which were a delight to walk through. They were maintained daily and were beautiful. Minutes from the golden mile and Marbella old town. We loved it, we highly recommend it and we will return.

Perfect place to stay if you want privacy in a popular beach resort. We loved the complex & the unit

Wonderful stay! Loved the very private outdoor dining area and stunning landscaping. Would definitely return! Lay out with bathrooms between the bedrooms worked very well with 2 couples. The unit was very well cared for. Very private setting yet only 5 minute walk to the beach. We didn't mind the walk to the beach and loved being in such a quiet area. The unit is well cared for the kitchen was well stocked. We cooked and ate most meals there as the outdoor dining area was such an inviting place to sit and relax. We would recommend this place highly to couples or families who enjoy privacy yet would like to be close to beach and restaurants! Fabulous experience- hope to be back!

Lovely property. Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is spacious with everything you could need for an enjoyable holiday and is located in the most beautiful, secure tropical gardens. You also have access to a lovely outdoor pool. The apartment is ideally located being just a few minutes walk from the beach front. Supermarkets are just a short walk away and buses are all easily accessible, so for those without a vehicle, it’s no problem at all. For those with a vehicle, there is on-site parking. Paul was very responsive whenever we needed to contact him and was there to greet us upon our arrival. The kitchen is a bit tired, but I understand that there are plans to refurbish it soon. All in all, we had an excellent holiday here and would have no hesitation in returning. Thank you!

Wonderful oasis

Our experience echos comments made by previous guests. Excellent location vis a vis the old city of Marbella, restaurants and other amenities such as, supermarkets, beaches yet offering an oasis within a gated community. The apt. Is well laid out as evident by the pics. on VRBO. Two spacious BR’s and Bathrooms as well as an open concept of living/ dining room. While the kitchen is small it is functional. Paul met us upon arrival and provided info on the area. The only slight challenge we faced was locating the exact entrance to the community as the gate is somewhat obscured by trees/scrubs. Car not necessary as everything is within easy walking distance. Highly recommend Paul’s apt. to family/friends who might wish to visit the Marbella area. It is on our list of places to return to.

Garden apartment

The apartment was lovely, just as described, with spacious airy rooms and a good outside terrace. The gardens and pool were also very well maintained and tranquil. The host, Paul, welcomed us on arrival with specific instructions on how to find the gate nearest to the apartment as there are several, and showed us the gardens and pool area. The apartment was very well equipped, with lots of towels for both bathrooms and the pool or beach. The kitchen was a little dated, but was well equipped and everything worked. The location is fabulous and it was only a 5or 6 minute walk to the beach, and then another 15 to 20 minute stroll along the seafront to the harbour or into Marbella Town. There are also 2 or 3 supermarkets within a 5 to 10 minute walk. We had a great 8 days and would definitely book to come again. The

Great location!

Spacious apartment close to beach and boardwalk, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Very responsive host, lives nearby, answers instantly and came to apartment within 20 mins after a concern (our mistake). Didn't like: mosquitoes (a man-made canal of stagnant algae-laden water on the property needs attention), absolute minimum of amenities (a single bath towel per guest means it was never quite dry when used again or washed and hung to dry, no hand towels or facecloths, no bath mat, no S&P shakers, no dish cloths, no placemats etc. made it miss the mark for a luxury apartment), evidence of agency cleaning without owner oversight (shower curtain in master bdrm rimmed with mold that persisted despite machine washing with chlorine bleach, mineral build-up on kettle, etc). I think it warrants 4* for location and very pleasant host. The rest is easily addressed.

Vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag wurde in der Wohnung über uns von morgens 8:30 bis 17:00 abends gebohrt, gefräst,gestemmt und gehämmert. 4 Wochen lang. Die Einrichtung ist total abgewohnt. Kein Erhohlungsfaktor.

De verbouwing van de buren boven duurde langer dan afgesproken. Ik was steeds in contact met de klant en de buren en mijn excuses gemaakt voor het ongemak. Verbouwing is gelukkig voorbij en het appartement is opnieuw geschilderd.

Eine tolle Wohnung in einer sehr schönen Gartenanlage. Begrüßung vom Vermieter persönlich. Die Lage ist perfekt, Einkaufen um die Ecke und die Promenade gleich die Straße runter. Wir konnten alles ohne Auto erledigen.

Vermieter unkompliziert und sehr nett. Objekt liegt nahe der Strandpromenade mit vielen Geschäften und Bars. In unmittelbarer Umgebung befindet sich großer Supermarkt. Auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kann man die Umgebung gut erkunden. Einstiegstellen ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Die Anlage selbst, präsentiert sich im üppigen grün und wird sehr gut betreut. Sicherheit wird groß geschrieben ohne Schlüssel kein Zugang zu Parkplätzen und Wohnungen. TOP! Kommen sicher wieder.

Splendid apartment near the sea!

Located in an elegant gated community featuring an abundance of tropical plants and flowers throughout the grounds. It was quiet and peaceful. Paul provided us with gate access to a parking lot on the grounds. Very convenient location, with a short walk to the beach, restaurants and beach cabanas. Interior and furnishings were very good. Marble floors throughout the apartment. Air conditioning was quiet and efficient. Overall, the place and our experience were lovely!

Very nice apartment!

We rented the apartment for two weeks with our two kids (one 4 year old and one baby) . It was perfect for our family; the living room is spacious, it has a small but very well equipped kitchen, two large bedrooms and two bathrooms with one bathtub each. The nice terrace has a roof so we could sit there even though it was raining :-) The surroundings is perfect for kids and this part of Marbella feels really calm and safe. There are many different supermarkets in the area, you can easily buy food at restaurants nearby, take a walk to “old town” in Marbella and the sea is only three minutes walk away. You can park your car close to the apartment which was perfect for us. We could easily get in touch with the owner. I strongly recommend this place!

Spacious apartment in the best area,

A lovely apartment very comfortable and suited to 2 couples,good parking and a great location. The only recommendation would be to change the bath towels,they were very very tired,no longer white and not nice to use,Only one towel each and it was hard to dry them after washing .We had to buy a set ourselves. we were there for 3 weeks. Washer is due for replacing.Overall everything else was very good

We are a family of four and have been fortunate to have this lovely apartment since our oldest was not even one.
We visit Marbella three or four times a year, and have been doing so since the kids were small and before that. We love the tropical gardens, the lively beach and a visit to the old town.

My husbands family has been living part-time in Marbella since the 1960's so we have a connection wit Marbella. We have seen great changes over the years and still in love with the laid back, lively and tropical surroundings. The cheerful atmosphere, immaculate gardens, beach life, foods and sun make this an all year round destination we enjoy every time.

In Marbella you see people of all ages and backgrounds mingle and enjoying themselves. Certainly in summer (which is almost from April till November) people are outgoing; take a stroll, go to the beach and dine together with family and friends. That's exactly what we do too!

We like to travel if we can and explore Andalusia and it's surroundings. We have been off to Morocco, Ronda, Gibraltar, Faro, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, Sierra Nevada, Cadiz, Portugal, Malaga off course and many more places in the last years.

There is a lot to see, experience and explore in the area which it doesn't make it dull in the long run!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Alhambra del Mar has a central location, quiet and the beach with it's fun is very nearby. The tropical surroundings in the urbanisation are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The ground-floor apartment is 110m2 with a large & sunny terrace and small private garden which accesses a big palm tree garden with the pool, sun beds and parasols. There is a semi closed parking space.

The sea a is a two minute walk without having to cross any busy roads. The beach has a range of activities for all ages and plenty of restaurants to choose from. You can walk to the old city center of Marbella easily in 10 minutes over the boulevard.

Warm welcome, meet and greet is done by kind staff (English & Spanish speaking) when arriving in Marbella. Staff and I are easily reachable by email or phone / whats-app for any questions or issues. Also for local tips and recommendations we are more then happy to inform you what's happening in and around Marbella.
