Beautiful Home In Quiet Carlsbad Neighborhood. Minutes Away From Beach, Carlsbad Village, Legoland, & Easy Freeway Access. Spacious Grounds With Very Private Outdoor Jacuzzi. Sleeps 4 In Two Private Bedrooms, And Can Accommodate 6 Comfortably.

Our Home Sits Back From The Street Affording Visitors With An Abundance Of Privacy, Bird And Lizard Watching, A Long View To The South East, And Peace And Quiet. Often Our Home Will Be Sunny When The Beach Is Overcast. Large Kitchen And Dining Area Will Accommodate Multiple Cooks, And Seats 8 At The Dining Room Table. There Is One Private Bedroom With Its Own Bathroom Upstairs, And One Master Suite/bath On The Main Floor. Additionally, The Living Room Could Sleep up to two Additional People On A Sofa Bed With Semi-privacy. There Is A Half-bath Nearby.

Guests Have Access To The Living Room, Family Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Master Bedroom Suite, Second Bedroom And Bath, And Half Bath, Outdoor Patio, And Spacious On-site Parking. In Addition, There Is A Washer & Dryer, A Private Outdoor Jacuzzi, And A 3/4 Acre Yard With Twelve Separate Sitting Areas For Your Enjoyment And Meditation.

Our Home Is Located In A Well Established Neighborhood On A Cul-de-sac Street With Minimal Traffic. We Know Our Neighbors. From Our Yard, There Are Great Views To The South East. There Are Twelve Separate Meditation/sitting Areas -- Each Offering Privacy, Different Views, And Sounds To Enjoy.

We Are Located Approximately 2 Miles From I-5, The Main North-south Highway. There Is A Public Bus Stop 3 Blocks Away. There Is A Coaster (light Rail) Stop In Carlsbad Village (2.5 Miles). From The San Diego Airport One Can Take A Bus To The Santa Fe Depot, And Then Take The Coaster North To Carlsbad Village. We Would Be Happy To Provide Additional Public Transportation Detail If Requested.

We Are Interested In Renting Our Home to travelers and vacationers interested in enjoying Carlsbad and Southern California for 30 days or more. We have a 30 day rental minimum and a no pet policy.

This Is Our Home And We Would Like To Invite You To Enjoy It As Much As We Do, As Well As Respect Our Property And The Peace And Quiet Of Our Neighbors. There Is Absolutely No Smoking Allowed Inside The House. Responsible Smoking Outdoors Is Allowed. Please Dispose Of All Cigarette Butts Responsibly.

If you smoke outside, please dispose of any cigarette butts appropriately. We live in a quiet residential neighborhood. Incredible large beautiful property in the heart of Carlsbad at a bargain price

We absolutely fell in love with this property during our 2-month stay this past summer. It's a peaceful paradise on an unheard of 3/4 acre lot only a few miles from the Village and Beach. It's set back on the property to where it's incredibly private with amazing views, plant life and small wildlife (rabbits, lizards, squirrels etc). The variety and maturity of the succulents are second to none. And don't forget about the giant hot tub which is perfect to relieve muscle pain after a long day. The owners are extremely nice people and we're sorry we didn't get more time with them as they were heading out of the country for most of our stay. That said, they ensured we had everything we needed and wanted, even going as far as buying and installing a window a/c unit for the master bedroom per our preferences. They ensured landscapers and maids came regularly and even added sports channels on the tv for us as well. Literally couldn't ask for anything more from either the property or hosts - we will miss our new home away from home and definitely would consider doing it all over again next summer. Price is a steal compared to other options as everything else in this price point were small condos while this is a large house on a huge piece of land yet super close to shopping, groceries, restaurants, the Carlsbad Village downtown area and the beach. If you're looking for a long-term rental (30-day minimum), you will absolutely not be disappointed!!

Wonderful

Great property, we really enjoyed our stay there. The landscaping is beautiful and there are multiple outdoor patios, all very private, for enjoying the sunshine. The hot tub is very large. Don and Mercedes were very responsive to the few questions we had. All in all we would recommend this property without hesitation.

Private garden getaway

We rented this property for 4 delightful months. Spacious house is tucked into a beautifully terraced and landscaped hillside. Very peaceful and quiet. No AC but we did not need it during our stay. Plenty of towels, sheets and kitchen utensils & dishes. Would have liked a toaster oven, but toaster was available. Spacious MBRm suite downstairs, additional BR and full bath upstairs. 2 addl BR are not accessible to renters. Grill and firepit and hot tub available. Many areas on the property to sit and enjoy the S California climate. No garage available, but there is plenty of off-street parking. House is convenient to shopping and freeways. Grocery, drug stores, etc are close. House mailbox is not available but there is a UPS store with mail box rentals 1 mile away. Several shopping centers and movie theater nearby. Don and Mercedes were friendly and easy to work with. They responded promptly to questions and the few minor problems that we encountered. We highly recommend this property and are considering returning next year.

Wonderful stay!

Really loved the garden and all the beautiful sitting areas. The house is comfortable, clean and well designed with nice decor throughout. It's centrally located - close to the beach, Legoland, 2 shopping malls, great restaurants and truly enjoyed discovering the Carlsbad village area. We'll definitely be returning to this gem!

Great vacation!

The house is very clean, nicely decorated, bright, and spacious. The beds and other furniture are comfortable, the kitchen has more than you need, and the garden is very beautiful and peaceful. Everything you see is well designed and maintained. It is about 10 minute drive to get to the beach, and many stores are close by. We had a chance to meet the owners and really enjoyed their company. It is a great pleasure to stay in a place that makes you feel at home!

We both enjoy music, art, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and playing croquet with friends while enjoying a glass of wine and listening to music.

It is conveniently located near Carlsbad's beautiful beach, I-5, rail transportation, shopping, restaurants, and other destinations, and yet has a uniquely private yard that is particularly large for Southern California standards.
