Relax aboard our roomy 30' Carver aft cabin with a spacious salon, 2 berths w/dresser storage and closets, galley, marine head, aft deck for lounging and bridge lounge to seat four persons. Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the bridge. Bring your own fishing boat, jet-ski, etc. Tour Menominee's historic district. Watch the M & M Yacht Club's Wednesday sailboat races from the bridge of the boat or the marina break wall. Visit mmyc.org for information and dates for the annual Meet-The-Fleet Sail (free sailboat rides to the public) and the Joey Shepro Memorial Double Handed Sailboat Race and Make-A-Wish Foundation Benefit (public invited to the benefit). Fish, shop, dine at the American Legion overlooking the marina, or dine at one of the many restaurants within the historic district. Swim, listen to a free outdoor concert, visit a local museum, lighthouse, library, or playground. Maybe get some golf in, or while staying on our Carver experience some of the many summer and fall local events held at the marina. Our first houseboat experience

Our hosts greeted us when we arrived and had a lovely gift basket for us. They explained everything we needed to know about the boat and the marina, so we felt welcome and comfortable. Our stay on the houseboat exceeded our expectations, in part because the hosts were so gracious. My granddaughters are already planning to come back and stay on this houseboat again!

Fun Overnight Stay

My sister and I enjoyed our stay on 'Paychek' and it was fun to sleep overnight on a boat and experience hanging out at the marina. It was a fun change from the normal hotel room while traveling and Judy was so nice and informative. We would totally stay here again!

Clean and cozy boat in a lovely Marina~

Enjoyed our 2 night stay in Menominee Michigan. Liked the close access to the bathrooms and showers. Great restaurants and bars within walking distance. The only drawback is that the owners are in a boat/slip right next to you.

We were looking for a quick night away and thought this was the perfect idea to enjoy something different. The boat was amazing, and the location was absolute prime. Walked to all the local bars and restaurants, around the marina, and fished as much as could right from the boat. The scenery was beautiful and so peaceful. The boat as so clean and absolutely came with everything we would have needed. Our only complaint would be the comfort of the bed. We understand its a boat, so did not expect much, but it was not the most comfortable. However, we loved our stay and hope to come back with our kiddos :)

This place is truly something special! We loved falling asleep the gentle lull of the waves in the harbor. The boat and harbor house were well maintained and had a charming, nostalgic vibe. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and walking the harbor wall. Thereā€™s a fantastic little cafe with outdoor seating, The Serving Spoon, just across the street and a playground for kiddos right at the marina. We were only in town for a day to attend a wedding, but the relaxation we enjoyed on the boat rejuvenated us. Don and Judy have thoughtfully adorned the boat with all the essentials and are lovely hosts! We plan to return with our kiddos before the season is over. From one host to another, thank you so much for making this a great experience!

Great view!

This was better than a room with a view. It was awesome to stay on the water in this amazing boat. It was spacious and comfortable. The sunrise was beautiful and I will never forget enjoying it on the deck. So much to do in town or just relax. Don and Judy are the perfect hosts and we will never forget them or the beautiful memories we made.

Best stay ever!

When we got to town, we were immediately greeted by Judy and Don. They gave us an orientation to the boat. They were both so nice! The boat is really cute how they have it set up is perfect! Everything was as described on VRBO. I would recommend staying on the Carver for a little get away! The amenities were wonderful!
