We loved our beautiful stay the Crab Shack! The house was very clean, and the layout was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids loved the pool and it was so helpful to have a wagon and chairs to bring to the beach. Also, Jackie was very responsive with any questions we had. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to AMI!

The host was very responsive and answered every question we had. The house was wonderful. The location and condition is excellent. We loved walking to the beach. The little shed was equipped with all the beach essentials. The pool was clean and warm and so inviting for relaxing in the sun. No complaints, it was a fantastic stay, at a fantastic house, in a fantastic location.

Perfect for Spring Break Stay!

This place was perfect for our family including kids from 2 to 16! The place was beautifully updated, clean and in a great location. We really enjoyed the pool in the back yard and Jackie also provided everything we needed for great beach days! We would definitely stay there again.

Great vacation spot!

Took the family down to stay. Owner was exceptionally kind and helpful, communication was great. The house was an amazing spot for us, kids loved the heated pool, location was close to everything we wanted to go to and experience. An overall fantastic time was had by all here. Would absolutely recommend!

We loved the place! The pool was amazing, it had the perfect amount of room for 5 of us. It is not far from the beach. There is a wagon for the beach, with chairs, umbrellas, rafts for the pool beach toys for the kids we donated a body board as well. Jackie was great she called to let me know everything we needed to know and was available if we needed to get ahold of her before our stay and during. We would stay here again it felt like home! Thanks Jackie we had a great week!

Beautiful and great location!

Beautiful and tastefully decorated home. Plenty of space for six people. I would definitely rent again. The central location is perfect for exploring the island, many restaurants within walking distance. The owner reached out well in advance of the stay for me to ask questions etc, and even called me on check in day letting us know the home was available at lunchtime! I highly recommend the Crab Shack!

Lovely place

I travel every year to Anna Maria Island and have for many many years as my father in law lives in Bradenton. This is our annual beach trip/visit him trip. This is the first time we have stayed at this property and it is by far our favorite place! It had just enough space for 4 adults with a little extra space, but still quaint enough as well. We will definitely be booking again for next year. Beautifully done after the hurricane damaged it. 100% recommend.

Perfect home away from home!

This was our first time to visit Anna Maria Island so we weren’t sure what to expect. The house was in a perfect central location on a quiet street. The home was beautiful and we absolutely loved the pool! We are hoping to make this an annual getaway.

This was one of our favorite houses we've stayed at on AMI. We did a girls trip with me and my sister plus our daughters/nieces who are in their 20s. Everyone loved the pool area (beautifully landscaped with both sun & shade depending on time of day), plus Jackie had great accessories we could take to the beach. The house was super clean, well-maintained, and in a central location. We frequently walked to shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Jackie was super communicative. If we needed anything or had a question, she always responded immediately and went above and beyond to take care of our requests.

Has It All

Perfect for 2 seniors, high beach chairs, umbrella and a wagon to pull it all, and when the beach was too much, we had that wonderful pool with great pool floats. TVs in all bedrooms. Beds very comfortable. Everything that you would need in the kitchen is there. Parking right by the front door. I look forward to renting this property again.

We had such a fabulous time at Jackie's property! Ck in was a breeze, the house was spotless and such a great amount of space for our family (21, 19, 11-year-old with parents). We especially loved having our own pool when the kiddos had enough time at the beach--which was so enjoyable to walk to eveyr day!! The location was perfect--we ate at 3 places that were very close to us. I texted Jackie with a couple of questions and she responded back very timely. She also gave me some great ideas of places for our family to go. We loved her property so much we didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much Jackie!

Girls' Trip!

Fantastic home with perfect location. We have stayed on Anna Maria Island many times and this location was perfect. We walked to restaurants, shops and the beach. Home was beautiful and perfect for our needs. Pool was fantastic! Home had everything we needed and more. Love, love, love this property!

Our first trip to AMI was amazing. Thank you Jackie for your tips and hospitality! The property had everything we needed for a week in the beach and the pool was an added bonus. The location was ideal for us - right in the middle to explore all areas of the island. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect!

This house was perfect for our group of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Check-in was super easy and the house was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The kitchen appliances and washer and dryer all seemed brand new. The pool and deck area were wonderful, plenty of seating and it included a shed full of everything you need for a trip to the beach, which is about a 10 minute walk from the house. We always love coming to AMI and this house did not disappoint!

The Crab Shack 10/10

We recently had a week stay at the Crab shack! Our host had very easy instructions for our stay from what we will need to supply, to an easy entrance when we got there. The home is decorated so cute! The property was very well maintained and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We were provided a high chair and a crib upon request, no problem. We have little ones so we utilized the heated pool when we needed to get out of the direct sun. The pool has some shade throughout the day, so that was really nice. The location is a 5 min walk to the holmes beach access and shops! We will absolutely be back. Thank you to our lovely host!

Home away from home!

4 of us stayed here for 7 days for a family wedding. The house gives you a very homey feeling. There is a Keurig AND A coffee maker, plus any other pans and dishes that you need. I was impressed with all of the food storage containers. My son eats a lot of fruit so they really came in handy. There even was a pizza pan which was great! Frozen pizza is one of our go-tos in the VRBOs. The pool and pool ‘toys’ were excellent! So relaxing with very nice outdoor furniture- tables and chairs. There is a pool person who came while we were there but it was no bother to us. Excellent beach supplies- towels, chairs, toys, etc. it’s helpful to have bikes or a golf cart to go to the beach. My son walked to the beach a few times -about 15-20 minutes. I drove but it was hard to find a parking spot. Next time we will rent a cart. That information is provided in the guest book. I was also impressed with all of the extras for babies and toddlers- even though we didn’t need it. Jackie was very easy to reach with no issues at all. Very pleasant. I highly recommend this place. We loved it!
