Happy Island Cottage with Heated Private Pool

A 2000 sq/ft, 3 bedroom modern beach house with heated* and very private pool. A perfect location just steps from the beach, marina and the main plaza with great shops, a grocery store and restaurants. No need to drive anywhere. Located in a quiet neighborhood with tropical greenery, large palm trees and flowers blooming.

Sleeps up to 6 people, 3 car garage, 60” Smart TV with Netflix, 130 Mb/s dual band high speed wireless internet, wall TV's in every room. Smart electronics are all over the house with motion activated lighting, decorative night lights and the Nest thermostat. Make your vacation even more comfortable and worry free.

A fully equipped kitchen with the modern appliances. Everything is always spotless clean. A laundry room with a large capacity LG washer and dryer for your convenience.

2 KING Beds, 2 Twin Beds and a Queen sleeper sofa to help you recover from your long beach days. A master bathroom with a large jet bath.

An outdoor area right next to the pool with a large patio table set, grill, lounge chairs and plenty of additional seating. Two spacious decks to enjoy your morning coffee.

Plenty of beach toys and a beach wagon.

The house has electronic locks on the main door and the garage. So you don't need to worry about loosing the keys.

We also have the pool alarms installed, in case you are travelling with small kids.

Anna Maria Island offers a Free Trolley to tour the island. The stop is literally 100 steps away from the house.

Amazing location!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. We loved the swimming pool and how close the house was to the beach and restaurants/coffee shops. Rooms are spacious and the owner was wonderful. We will be back!

Great girls getaway

We stayed here for a few nights for a girls Anna Maria Island getaway with grandma, daughters and two granddaughters. We had a great time, the pool is wonderful, short walk to the beach, the place was clean and the owner was very helpful! We would definitely come back!

This is our 4th time in AMI.. we have stayed at different properties, all have had different things to offer. This one was ok except we did not realize that we are on top of The Ugly Grouper. Trucks unloading almost every morning to deliver supplies to the restaurant. The pool was nice.

We had a fabulous stay at this property. The perfect amount of space for our family with very comfy beds, lots of seating, and just a comfortable feel. A 4 minute walk to the beach, it can't get any better!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Happy Island. The house was clean, and the layout worked well for our family. The pool area is very nice. The location made it easy to access all the island has to offer. Alex is a very kind and helpful host. Would love to stay here again.

Great Location!

The house was a short walk to the beach, and was close to everything you needed. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We really liked being so close to the north end of the island. The house was pretty much exactly as described, and the kids loved the playing in the pool every day after coming back from the beach.

Great family getaway

We had a great time on Anna Maria Island! The house was in a great location - a few blocks to the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. The pool area is beautiful and was the perfect size for our family of 5. The house is clean and had most everything we needed. It was so nice to have beach equipment (chairs, wagon, etc) there for us so we didn’t have to bring it. The owner came to check in with us and make sure the pool was clean. We would definitely recommend this house for a nice family getaway!

Happy Island Cottage

The home was very adequate and was found as advertised. Not having any toilet paper or paper towels was annoying, additionally I would have paid more to have access to the thermostat of the pool, set at 85 degrees and locked made the northern facing pool unusable. Owner was pleasant.

Best vacation ever!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Clean and is supplied with everything you need. Alex will help out with any questions you need answered. Everything is in walking distance. Pool was the best! Every restaurant in Holmes Beach gets a five star. Rented a golf cart and toured Anna Maria and went to both piers to eat. Will be back next year. Thank you Alex for everything. The Woodwards

The BFF Fifty and Fabulous Tour

Fabulous place to stay. Centrally located. A stroll to the beach. The house had more than enough room for everyone and three bathrooms. The pool is spectacular and while having cocktails the Ugly Grouper next door plays music. There is a place to sit out od the sun. I highly recommend renting a golf cart. We rented from the Toy Barn. We all said we would be back and rent the exact house if we can. I also suggest experiencing some drinks at the doctors office.

Excellent pool deck and location

Check in was a breeze. Communication with the host was excellent. Unless weather prevents it, Wednesday is always pool maintenance day and Alex always communicated before stopping over. Easy three block walk to beach access. There is no parking at this beach access which is a plus because there were less people. Ugly Grooper and shops are easy walking distance. If you bring a dog, the dog park is approximately three blocks away also. With the tiki bar Ugly Grooper so close their dumpster is right next door. Just be prepared for it to be dumped on a regular basis between 630-700am. Loud. By far our favorite part of this property was the pool deck.

A Perfect Stay in Paradise

Our stay at the Happy Island Cottage far exceeded our expectations! The house was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed to make our family vacation so comfortable and pleasurable with young children and babies. Exactly like the photos! The floor plan gave each family privacy. We enjoyed cooking our meals in a new kitchen and eating either inside or outside by the pool. The owners were so attentive to us and even provided cribs and playpens for the babies to be happy. The pool was so relaxing and we appreciated the alarms on the doors to keep the kids safe. Everything imaginable was in place for us to spend delightful days at the most pristine beach, only a short walk away (toys, towels, chairs, umbrella, wagon, mats). The house is located a few steps from the free trolley which was a great way to explore the entire island. After our island exploration, we decided that we liked this location best. We highly recommend the Happy Island Cottage to families who are desirous of a beach vacation on Anna Maria Island. We definitely want to return!

Home in paradise ?

On reflection this property was very disappointing because we felt it needed some issues sorted as I wrote in the visitors book. The house needed a deep clean starting with the washing machine. Poor quality bedding and lack of sheets and no pillow protectors so some of the pillows were stained. We did report some cockroaches and the manager came and put some substance down in different areas. Some money should be invested in a good kettle , beach chairs and even some bikes would be a good idea like some properties do ! A good quality toaster and some table and chairs for the outside porch to make the most of the morning sunshine . This property sleeps 6 to 8 people but only has 2 lounges with no pads. Now for the health and safety issues. The bath needs a step because with the width of the bath it can be very difficult if you are short getting in and out of it .... I badly bruised my leg and do have photos to prove this. Silly timers in the bathroom and external stairs are dangerous. The manager provided a Christmas tree which was very kind but do feel that these issues should be looked at for the future.

We were looking for a vacation home for a long time until we found and fell in love with our Happy Island Cottage on Anna Maria Island. The location was just perfect with beautiful relaxing beaches and friendly and casual atmosphere. The house was perfect as well with its modern design and a wealth of new features. It was full of light and each time we were there it was making us feel just happy. We were getting same kind of reaction from all of our friends and guests who were staying there with us. So it was an easy decision for us to name the house “Happy Island Cottage”.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Now a few more details about the house. It has a nice, tropical and private backyard with a heated pool, a spacious outdoors seating area and a brand new grill. On the interior the house is decorated with love and style. Each one of the three bedrooms is spacious and has its own tropical character. Two bedrooms have king size beds, the third has a set of twin beds. The dining and living areas are very comfortable and furnished with brand new furniture. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with all new appliances. Every woman staying in this house will appreciate the laundry room with a set of high capacity and high efficiency LG washer and dryer.

The Happy Island Cottage is located only 400 steps from the beach and 200 steps from marina, where you can dock your boat or book a fishing or a sunset trip, or rent a kayak. The main island shopping plaza is located two blocks away, so you don't have to drive to get to the restaurants, shops and bars.

Overall, staying at the Happy Island Cottage is a truly relaxing experience that will make your vacation feel longer and more happy.
