We were extremely well satisfied with our stay and totally enjoyed all aspects of the cabin.

The peace and tranquility of this location and the cabin. We have stayed there many times over the years and will come back in the future!

The cabin is dated and the shower didn’t work. The linens were old and worn. The beds were old and mattresses worn out and hard. The appliances were dated.

Our favorite getaway location

IF you are looking for peaceful & quiet vacation, then this is the place to stay! No loud parties; you can barely see the other cabins and it's close to EVERYTHING that Hocking Hills has to offer. We can no longer afford to stay a whole week, but the five days that we had were great.

Amazing stay!

Absolutely not worth the money that I spent on it, extremely disappointed.

Only thing that was clean was the hot tub, proximity to Hocking Hill State Park was nice, ease of check in service

Review of Cherokee

Overall good stay. Comfortable bed, adequate hot tub. Poor kitchen layout, smoke alarm went off with any stove use. Couldn’t shower, water was disgusting. Floors were dirty.

Well, the place looked beautiful, however extremely stuffy/musty. Whenever you took a shower it smelled like skunk. We had no TV all 3 days. Day 2 the owner came out to try to fix the TV but it didn't work. I called and emailed but no one responded. Oh...also when you shower, don't count on drying off with a dry towel because there's so much moisture they were damp upon getting out. Let's noe forget you need to speed shower because the hot water doesn't last long.

We will be back next year!!

This is our second year coming to this cabin. We love the privacy, yet not too far from town and trails. It really is the perfect location. There were upgrades made since last year, including new furniture and big screen TV in the living room. The king size bed is super comfortable and the hot tub is fantastic. If there are any issues, Venture is very easy to get a hold of and quick to fix or attend to whatever it is. They even called to see if we needed more towels. LOVE this cabin!

Overall positive but lacking in some areas

Spacious area. Nice hot tub The Wi-Fi was NOT usable however. It would not stay connected as the signal was too weak and streaming on the tv would not work. There should be kitchen antibacterial cleaner available to wipe counters etc.

Great, but wouldn't do it again

The room was great and the cabin was bigger than expected. It was cute and clean and the location was good too. The reason I wouldn't stay there again was because the water smelled like sulfur and eggs so bad that I had a hard time brushing my teeth. I didn't shower because I couldn't stand smelling like that and even doing the dishes was difficult. We drove to the local store and bought bottled water to take care of things but I was really looking forward to taking a bath but I didn't feel like marinating in water that smelled like eggs. It's too bad because I would've totally stayed there again if it wasn't for this. I think someone else mentioned it too and all I can say is, I should've read the reviews first. I absolutely expected more for the price (i.e. take a shower and smell clean afterwards).

Very nice and secluded. Hot tub was very clean and well taken care of. Only drawback is the well water and the floors looked like they haven’t been swept well at all. Killed about 5 flies my first few hours there. Whoever is responsible for cleaning in between guest stays could do a way better job. Overall the cabin is very nice for the price.
