Some trips need everyone under one roof with enough room to actually enjoy it.
The Red Hummingbird is set up for exactly that: a bright, color-filled home in North Columbus where a group can spread out, reconnect, and slow down. Gather everyone for a Fort Benning graduation, a family visit, or a long weekend with friends, and arrive to a place that feels easy from the front door.

THE LAYOUT
Inside, the home flows from a vibrant living room into the kitchen and dining area, with four bedrooms arranged for larger groups and an attached game room for the after-dinner hours. The single-level design keeps everyone connected, and the fully fenced backyard works like a second living room. It's a practical, group-friendly setup that also suits relocation, extended, and workforce housing stays.

LIVING ROOM
The living room sets the tone with a burnt-orange sofa, mustard armchairs, and mid-century lines under a sculptural chandelier. A wall-mounted TV anchors movie nights, a foosball table waits in the corner, and a reading nook with a deep armchair and bookshelf gives you a quiet place to land.

KITCHEN
The full kitchen runs on stainless-steel appliances, gray cabinetry, and granite counters, with room to cook for a crowd. Quick breakfasts, coffee on a slow morning, or a full family dinner all work here, and a high chair is on hand for the youngest guests.

DINING AREA
Just off the kitchen, the dining area seats the group around a round wooden table framed by teal chairs and the home's signature hummingbird art. It's the natural place to sit down together and let a meal turn into a long conversation.

BEDROOMS
Four bedrooms give everyone a comfortable place to land:

Bedroom 1 anchors the home with a king bed and warm accents.
Bedroom 2 Queen bed wakes up bright against a bold blue wall and adds a pull-out trundle, flexing from one sleeper to two.
Bedroom 3 keeps it simple with a queen. Bedroom 4 sleeps four across two queen beds, and Pull out sofawith playful orange and pink color the kids love.
The arrangement works for multiple families, grandparents and kids, or a larger group of friends.

BATHROOMS
Two full bathrooms keep mornings moving. One features a modern vessel sink, the other a clean walk-in shower, both stocked with the essentials so no one's waiting in line.

OFFICE & LIBRARY
A dedicated workspace handles the mornings you need to log on before the day starts, and a greenery-framed library nook holds books and games for an unhurried afternoon in.

GAME ROOM
The game room is where the trip's best stories usually start: a full pool table under vintage-style lighting, a classic Pac-Man arcade cabinet, and a foosball table, with a sunlit corner to read between matches.

OUTDOOR
Out back, the fully fenced yard brings it all together. Sink into the hot tub under string lights, pull the red Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, fire up the grill, and let the kids loose on the playset. Everyone gets to enjoy the evening their own way: cool water on a warm Columbus night, and the fire going long after dinner.

NEIGHBORHOOD
The home sits on a quiet residential street in North Columbus, with free parking on-site and an easy drive to Fort Benning, shopping, dining, and local attractions. You get a calm place to come home to at the end of the day, close enough to everything but private enough to unwind. The area suits military families, relocation and extended stays, and groups who simply want room to spread out.

Picture the whole group back together at the end of the day: someone racking the pool table, someone reading in the corner, the rest of you out by the hot tub while the kids burn off the last of their energy.

You'll have full access to our home & backyard, designed to ensure a private and comfortable experience for you and your guests.

Key Access Details:
- The entire property is yours to enjoy, with spaces crafted for relaxation and entertainment.
- Parking is hassle-free, with a driveway accommodating 3-4cars and additional street parking available.

One day prior to your arrival you will receive an email that walks you through the process and answers any last-minute concerns.

GUEST REGISTRATION:
This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $55 for stays up to 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

PARKING:
Please park only in the designated parking area on the driveway.
Parking on the grass is not allowed.

SUPPLIES:
We provide a starter pack of essential supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and basic cleaning items to help you get started with your stay. For longer stays or if additional items are needed, guests are responsible for restocking according to their personal needs.

SECURITY
Our home is equipped with a motion-activated EXTERIOR security video camera on the front door of the home and in Driveway.
No video recording devices are located inside the home.
