• Whistler Park located around the corner offers new playground, several acres of grassy fields, flowing creek, and miles of year round hiking trails.

• Convenient free shuttle bus just a few steps away and only minutes to the gondola, runs every twenty minutes from 5:38AM - 3:00am daily, no need to rent a car.

• 'Winter brings em, summer keeps em.' Thats what the locals say. Visit during summer and you'll never want to leave the Enchanted Valley. The climate is ideal with warm days and cool nights. Activities include: hiking, biking (mountain/road), trail running, boating, fishing, rafting, kayaking, tubing, rodeos, concerts, shopping, etc.

Steamboat Comfort

I have stayed here a couple of times and found it to be a charming, comfortable and well-appointed place. The house is on a nice, quiet street but is still very close to the ski area as well as downtown restaurants. In the summer, it's easy access to hiking too. The town shuttle stops close by so it's very easy to get around.

Family of 6

We stayed here for 7 days in September and had a great time! This place was very comfortable and clean and close to everything. We had rented a car and never used it as the bus is only 15 feet from the door and takes us to mountain or town. The rooms are in the walkout basement, so when people were upstairs watching T.V. You never heard a thing. My kids said they had not had such a great time in years, and everyone was happy with this great house, rooms and location. The owner was also very easy to work with and responsive to our inquiries. I can highly recommend this home and going to Steamboat!

Great property

We rented this house for our annual winter get together with three generations of family, retired to college co-eds. There were 8 adults altogether. This house was fabulous for our needs. It was very close to a convenient-to-use, free bus service, and we took advantage of it to easily get around the area. It was well equipped throughout, but especially in the kitchen. In fact it had one of the best kitchens we've used in 10 or 12 years of traveling together. It was also spacious and laid out in a way that people could choose privacy or company; we were not on top of one another. The place was beautifully decorated, but didn't feel "untouchable" like we were afraid to use things. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would rent it again if we return to Steamboat.

Excellent property to rent

I am writing this review to recommend this property. This is a beautiful spacious home, clean and well maintained. It has a well equipped kitchen to cook in. The bus stop, for the free bus, and it is just a few feet away from the house, makes this a great place to stay without a car. It is near the beginning of the bike path, and hiking is nearby. I am looking forward to returning in ski season and to use the bus to get around. Overall, a great place to stay.

Best Rental in Steamboat

This home is gorgeous and so relaxing. It is a great location, hoping on the bus and off to the ski hill was so easy and smooth. It was so nice not to have to haul our equipment and walk to a bus stop a mile away. This home is one of the best values in Steamboat. I have stayed in other rentals and was disappointed.I would recommend it to anyone!

My travels has taken me to many wonderful places, but I am proud to call Steamboat home. When we decided to buy a home in the mountains, it was an easy choice - Steamboat. We would like to share our beautiful home with you so you too can enjoy the beauty and wonders of our little piece of paradise.

I bought this house because of it's unique location, close to the ski area, but not too close to the noise and congestion of being in the tourist area. It's in a very quiet neighborhood with mostly full time locals and located minutes from Whistler Park and the free shuttle bus. With it's great mountain views and close proximity to open space, it's my dream house.

• Fantastic views

• No need to have a car when staying here

• Put your boots on and catch the free shuttle and you are on the mountain in minutes

• I walk to the park every morning and enjoy my coffee and views of the nearby mountains

• Being on the end of the street, it’s very quiet and peaceful

• In the evening we can sit on the deck and watch beautiful sunsets

• The night sky is amazing – you can see stars and planets that will leave you in awe

• The nearby creek is great for fishing and just hanging around and watching it go by

• Shopping is nearby – two large grocery stores, large liquor store, multi-screen cinema, several fine restaurants and boutiques
