This house is amazing place to stay. The only thing we have bad to say is we couldn’t stay long enough. Monica is very knowledgeable about the area. She suggested things to do in the area. You will need to take hand towels and wash clothes.

We’ve just switched cleaning companies and, in addition to the bed linens and bath towels we’ve always provided, we’ll now be able to provide hand towels and washcloths as well. The Aviary is beautiful — views of the trees, the property, and the house amazing! Enjoyed an evening thunderstorm in the screened porch with the outside fire going — incredible! So much to do around the area. We were there for JMU graduation and hope to return. Hiking is great in the resort and easy access to the national park and Harrisonburg. Questions for the stay were answered promptly and everything you need for cooking and playing was available.

The Aviary is beautiful! It made for great relaxation after time on the slopes. Everything was super clean and the hosts were very responsive and were great communicators. We would absolutely consider staying here again. Thanks for sharing your home!

The house was extremely well appointed beautifully decorated, including for Christmas! The Christmas tree in my granddaughter‘s bedroom was a special touch. The hostess was extremely communicative and very welcoming.

Perfect place to stay with family

This place is absolutely beautiful. Perfect location in Massachusetts for view and peace. Excellent amenities and filly loaded home for anyone looking for a get away. I would definitely recommend. Owner was very responsive and accommodating!!

Awesome stay!

The Aviary is an amazing property! Well maintained, clean and the kitchen is stock with everything you would ever need. Also close to all activities! You will not be disappointed in this great home! Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Great vacation home!

Great property and immaculate. Efficient communication with owner made things easy. Fantastic downstairs area for kids and gorgeous upstairs for adults. Kitchen is stocked better than our own home.

The house was lovely, clean, and well stocked with the basic necessities. Our kids loved the downstairs area, especially the reading nook under the stairs. We will definitely be back!

Fall Break trip

Great home and beautiful location. We took advantage of the activities in the resort, including the indoor water park and miniature golf. The house was very comfortable for our group - the four kids stayed downstairs and two couples in the upstairs bedrooms. Would definitely choose this property again!

Our third year at The Aviary

This is the third time our family has stayed at The Aviary. We love everything about this house. The location is great. Check-in and check-out are simple. The accommodation is immaculate and there is so much to do around Massanutten. We’ll definitely be back to this house in the future.

This cabin was so amazing & so charming. My kids had a blast & we made some amazing memories. Coming back from the cold slopes to a homey & cozy cabin really made our trip that much better. Can’t thank you enough!

Family 4day kayaking adventure

The Aviary on Trevino Dr was ideal to accommodate 10 of us from 3 generations ages 80 to 13 as we made three 7-mile runs on the nearby Shenandoah river full of small mouth bass. The rental's pool table was a big hit with the men. The well stocked kitchen impressed us. Art work was very lovely and tasteful. A great stay!

Perfect getaway for our large family!

The Aviary is a beautiful home that accommodates large families or multiple families! My children are older now. So we enjoyed playing pool and the many game options! The beds were comfortable and the home was spotless. We didn’t end up cooking, but the kitchen was fully stocked. We also end the screened porch and the large swing! We would definitely stay here again!

Favorite Family Getaway

The Aviary has become our favorite place to vacation. We have stayed twice and both times the property was in immaculate condition. The home is spacious and beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials and all the pots, pans, and dishes you could need. There is also a closet full of games for all ages. The view from the balcony is so beautiful and the host, Monica, is so lovely and easy to communicate with about checkin/checkout. The resort area is also great - tons of fun things for families to do, but without the pretentious resort feel. This is truly a gem!
