6/10 - Razoável

Underwhelming with broken stuff

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was cozy and we liked the heavily wooded setting. The game table pictured does not work at all. It is useless, broken, with missing pieces and damaged equipment. Please take photos off of your site, as this is absolutely not a selling point. The beds were way too soft for anyone who wants/needs a somewhat firm mattress. The hot tub jets wouldn’t turn off after we used it, and it was very loud during the whole duration of our stay. For a place that supposedly accommodates 6, there are far too few kitchen utensils and cookware. The cabin is cluttered with junky decorations that are positioned in silly places—watch your toes! You’ll stub them going to and fro from the bathroom. The screen porch was nice.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 7 de out. de 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about Creekside Serenade. We’re glad you enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, wooded setting, and screen porch. We’re sorry that several aspects of the property did not meet your expectations. We take your comments regarding the game table, hot tub, kitchen supplies, and furnishings seriously, and we will be reviewing these items with the owner and our maintenance team. We also appreciate you bringing the game table and hot tub issues to our attention so they can be addressed. We understand that mattress comfort and décor preferences can vary from guest to guest, but we certainly want the home to be comfortable, functional, and safe for everyone. Your feedback is helpful in identifying areas where improvements may be needed. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention. We appreciate your stay and the opportunity to improve the guest experience at Creekside Serenade.

The cabin was exactly as described, very cozy, very charming. We had everything we needed for a 3 night getaway. The kids especially enjoyed sleeping in the loft with the rain drumming on the tin roof. I appreciated the small fenced in area where we could let our dog out, instead of having to leash her every time.

Our favorite spot!

This is our second stay at this charming log cabin. We come up to visit our son and this spot is perfect. We love the two porches, especially the screened porch which overlooks the creek, and we often see deer strolling through the woods.
