WOW Sea/Sunset Views, quiet privacy near NP beaches/town, A/C, pool, grill, prkg

Thank YOU Chad for being a wonderful guest! I'm so glad you had a great stay at Bliss, enjoyed those amazing views, and had a wonderful trip. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, much appreciated!

Thank you Susan for taking the time to leave a review. I love welcoming you back 'home' to Bliss as well! And I also really appreciate that you also added a photo to your review and recognize all the updates I constantly make. My husband and myself rented places on St John for many, many years before we finally 'pulled the trigger' and fulfilled a lifetime dream of ours to own a 'piece of paradise' so I always try to make Bliss everything we ourselves were looking for in a vacation rental. I'm sorry it took you a couple days to figure out our new built-in combination multi-function microwave/oven. I was so sad when our old combination microwave/convection oven broke but this new one not only microwaves, roasts and grills but also acts as an air fryer! This new technology is amazing. Can't wait to welcome you back. Thanks again for your review.

It was lovely being able to welcome you back 'home' to Bliss! So sorry you had to go through the inexcusable power outages that occured during your stay. Fortunately, you will NOT ever have to go through that again in any of your future stays as Cruz Views is in the midst of contracting for the installation of a whole complex generator system! I can NOT wait until that is accomplished! Its been a long time coming...

Thank you David for taking the time to leave a review of Bliss. I too love the view off the deck; I usually spend my mornings drinking my coffee there and my late afternoons/evenings drinking a glass of wine and having appetizers there while watching the sunset. But I often work while I'm at Bliss, setting up my computer at the DR table, and love occasionally (ok, maybe often!) looking up and enjoying the equally beautiful sea view out the large LR window! Or glancing out at the garden window to see which orchids are currently blooming and watching the humingbirds or bananaquits drinking water out of the bromeliads or birdfeeder hanging there. So glad you enjoyed your stay at Bliss!

Thank you Sharon for taking the time to leave a review, which is very helpful to future guests considering where to stay. I'm 74 and I personally think it's an easy walk down into town but maybe not in high season at night and it is definitely NOT an easy walk back UP! Which is what I tell ALL of my guests. I encourage every one of my guests to rent a 4wd while staying at Bliss--it's impossibe to buy ice and gallons of water and walk back up that hill and still have ice cubes left! Ha ha. Also, a jeep gives you so much freedom to explore this wondrous island at your own time and pace. Thank you again for leaving your review.

Thank you Susan for taking your time to leave a review. I can't wait to welcome you back!

Thank you for taking the time to review Bliss--I know that 'reentry' is hard but your review helps others so much. The location and views is what attracted us to this property as well. Close to everything but nice and quiet and private. I'm glad you enjoyed our amenities--I try and keep Bliss furnished and stocked with everything that I personally want and enjoy. I hope that I have the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon.

Thank you Diane for taking your valuable time to leave a review. I'm so glad you and your husband had a wonderful stay at Bliss. I am SO sorry that I did not meet your expectations 100% for you to be able to leave a 5* review as all my previous guests have. If it was something out of my control--such as weather, electricity going out--then I can't do anything about that, obviously. BUT if there is something that I could have done, or will be able to do so that my future guests are all able to leave 5* reviews, please let me know. I am very happy to provide anything that you perhaps could not find or correct anything that I have control over. We, ourselves, rented vacation rental properties for 13 years before we were eventually able to buy our own 'piece of paradise!--an ultimate dream of ours!) I really try to provide everything we ourselves wanted in a property we rented and anything that I think my guests would appreciate. I would SO appreciate your feedback! Cynthia

Thank you Emily for taking your precious time to leave a review of Bliss at Cruz Views. It was my pleasure having you stay at my 'happy place.' I agree with you about the incredible views from the deck and deck bar, the entire interior great room area and especially the upstairs bedroom. I often have to work while I'm there and there is nothing like lifting my eyes up from my computer while sitting at the DR table and soaking in that incredible view!

Thank you Mark for taking your time to leave a review. Your description is exactly what I tell potential guests, both about the the onerous walk back up that hill--that's why I recommend renting a jeep for the greatest enjoyment of the island, although a combinationn of walking and taxis can be somewhat cost-efficient for a couple or a single renter, though for a family or 2 couples, it's less costly and much more convenient to rent a jeep. And, as I tell everyone, I often have that lovely pool to myself!

Thank you Bernard for taking your precious time to leave a review; it is much appreciated both by future guests trying to decide where to stay as well as by me! I agree with you, the views and location can not be beat, nor can the natural beauty of St John. I would love to welcome you back to Bliss in the future. Sincerely, Cynthia

Thank you so much Anthony for taking your precious time to leave a review. It means a LOT to me and any future guests trying to decide where to stay. It was a pleasure working with you and I would love to welcome you back again. Please keep in mind that all my past guests automatically receive a "past guest discount' upon ANY of their future bookings--no blackout dates! Thank you again, Cynthia

Thank you Ron for taking time out of your busy life to leave a review; I really appreciate it. You are right, I really love Bliss and am so thankful that you could recognize that. I can't wait to welcome you back to this special place--Bliss and St John!

Thank you Sherry for hitting all the highlights of why we bought Bliss (Cruz Views #1 a number of years ago) and then totally remodeled, and provisioned, it to be what we ourselves--as previous vacation rental home renters--wanted it to be! So glad you had a wonderful stay at Bliss.

Thank YOU for staying at Bliss, Katherine, and for taking the time to leave a review! Much appreciated! We too love the location, which as you stated, is close to both town and the beaches but nice and quiet and private in the evenings. Glad your kids enjoyed the pool--which is basically like a private pool as very few people use it. We look forward to hosting you again at your past guest 5% discount.

Thank you so much Nan for taking your time to leave a review--it means SO much to me and future travelers to St John looking for someplace to stay. It is SUCH a close, great location to all the amazingly beautiful National Park Beaches on the North Shore (which is why we bought it) as well as close to the restaurants and shops in Cruz Bay but up in the hills far enough to provide peace and quiet. Should you decide on a repeat visit to St John (as so many travelers do) please remember that all my past guests are always entitled to a special 'past guest' discount! Thank you again for taking your time to leave a review; I really appreciate it.

Thank you Lisa. It was a pleasure hosting you and your friends as guests. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you again in the future. Just a reminder: all my repeat guests receive a 5% discount off posted regular rentals on all their future stays. I love the views as well--it's very hard to leave in the morning as I so enjoy lingering over my coffee just looking out at the sea and the 'world wake up' but I love all the beaches too and that they're all so close. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Thank you Joseph for your thoughtful, detailed review. I'm sure it will help future guests a lot! I'm so glad that you enjoyed your time at Bliss and hope to welcome you back soon.
